Love this location of Caffe Ladro! One of my favorite shops for a latte in Seattle! A big bonus is that it opens every day of the week at 5:30am! Perfect for early weekend runs or activities.

This is the Caffe Ladro location in Fremont. It is located on the main road in the area, N 36th St that leads toward Ballard. I found myself in the area on a weekday afternoon and came here to get some work done using their free Wi-Fi. The coffee shop is located in an one story house-like building. One of the biggest appeals about this location are the chairs located outside which are great to lounge in on a sunny day. The interior here is cozy and fairly sizable. It was a bit crowded, but I was able to find a seat by the window. Furniture is a little old looking, but otherwise fine. They have the usual coffee drinks, but there are also some specialty offerings. I have been to Caffe Ladro a few times in downtown, but never noticed their Medici drink offering before so I decided to get a tall Medici($ 4.35) here. Basically this is a mocha with orange zest. If you have been to Caffe Fiore, they also have this drink which is called sevilla on their menu. The version at Ladro is as good as the version at Fiore. If you like a citrus flavor to your mocha, I would recommend this drink. One other thing I like about Ladro is that they serve your drink in an actual cup if you are dining in. Much prefer places that offer this over ones that serve them in a plastic cup only. If you are looking for a nice place to get work or studying done while enjoying coffee served in a mug, Caffe Ladro is a good spot.

Need a place to work after the kids go to bed? This place is perfect for late night studying! They open late, coffee is great, grab a dessert, enjoy great tunes and free internet:) Parking isn’t great, I don’t ever try on the weekends. It’s a favorite week night work spot:)

Decent coffee, open until late(11:00pm!), fast internet, long tables with cute«last night glow» lamps and groovy Pink Floyd playing. Nice study spot.

The coffee is delicious, aromatic and memorable. The service is friendly and the coffee shop is not too big or small, very comfortable to sit inside or out.

A small coffee shop in the heart of Fremont, perfect for late night studying and first dates. The baristas are friendly and make a mean latte. Prices are equitable to other local coffee shops and they have a decent selection of healthy snacks from local companies. Even when the place is packed, their wifi is speedy!

I would’ve given this place 4 stars based on the food(spinach and feta quiche was delish!) and drink(soy latte, no pretty latte art, but tasty), but the gal at the counter was pretty cold, so I took off a star. She seemed to be in a mood or something, but nothing to completely ruin the experience in my book. The other gal seemed to be much more upbeat. Got a nice cozy spot in the corner with plenty of room. Noise level was minimal, and at a good level for working on school/work stuff.

Consistency & quality are key for me with coffee, and Ladros delivered a damn good Americano, every morning for 11 days straight. Service was swift and friendly(both important at 7am), and the prices were very reasonable. Good selection of pastries and treats, and plenty of seating if you and your laptop want to stay awhile. Best coffee in Seattle? I’ll need to try the other 1,599 coffee shops and get back to you… but I’m pretty happy sticking to Caffe Ladro.

Love this place! They have the friendliest staff. They have given me samples of coffee and even a free refill when my coffee got cold. They know their coffee, roast their own, make it well and serve it with a smile. There are nice big tables and a bar against the windows to sit at. I’ve never had a problem with finding seating which is a rare thing among Seattle coffee shops. Check this place out for a cozy spot and good coffee.

I’ve always loved coming here and when I’m on this side of town, it’s my go to coffee spot. In particular I love their holiday offerings. November brings real pumpkin lattes and in December you can’t go wrong with the gingerbread or egg nog lattes. Don’t expect to find snotty baristas slinging shots here. I’ve asked many of a «stupid question» and have always been treated with friendly answers.

We didn’t end up buying coffee but their hot chocolate and iced teas were quite good!

Disclaimer: I am not a coffee snob, I am not a coffee snob. Ah who am I kidding, I totally love coffee and am perfectly fine judging it. The atmosphere is very Fremont. Now for the important stuff, the coffee. The Medici is the coffee of choice during the summer for me. The orange adds a certain freshness to the brew that I simply love. Other than that, you cannot go wring with any of their blends, if you like things on the sugary side like I go. All in all a great little coffee shop. The service was a little slow(there was 1 person in front of me and it took 10 minutes for the barista to get to me), but that was probably a one-off situation. Still, a well deserved 4 stars!

It was my first time here. I always walk past it but never came in and visited. Well, guess I should of just skipped it. what terrible customer service. The guy that was helping me, definitely had an attitude problem. or maybe he had a bad day. regardless, I didnt appreciate his ways of taking care of a customer. I ordered a small chai tea. nothing special to it. the fact that theres nothing special about the drink plus the customer service left me with a bad taste. I wont be coming back. SODISAPPOINTING!

This is our favorite coffee stop(granted we live within walking distance). We’ve never had a bad cup of java from here, and the service folks are always nice. It’s a great spot to get your coffee and hang out outside in the adirondack chairs and just watch the day go by. I look forward to actually trying some of their stellar looking backed goods.

Dear Ladro in Fremont, You are my favorite. Your staff always greets me with a friendly smile. Sometimes we chat about general sleepiness, and you provide me with delicious chai right up the street from work. You also have a bomb ass chili jerk scone. I’m obsessed with that scone. If you like general deliciousness, you need to try this scone. Seriously.

This place has really nice staff, also coffee and stuff. Maybe my standards aren’t as high as these other reviewers, but that gets a good one from me. I’ll take a pleasant experience over a «cool» spot any day.

I like that this place is open late. Or, at least later than other places in the vicinity. As far as comfort… Just wood chairs & large tables. Not too comfy. Most of the time it’s packed with people, school books, and laptops. But hey, when it’s, the only place open, no complains. Plus the coffee is good and the staff is friendly.

We’ve been going to this place for years. Sometimes we buy something, sometimes we don’t. We just happen to be sitting there one night practically by ourselves when the snooby employee says, «I’ve seen you in here before and you need to buy something to use the wifi.» Now, don’t get me wrong. We understand why these rules are in place. And sure, we can understand saying something during the day when the place is packed. But during the downtime when hardly anyone else is around?! And to repeat customers? We have lived and worked in the area for years, and sometimes stop by for our morning/afternoon coffee break. But after this experience we’ll make sure that never happens again. You just lost a bunch of customers Café Ladro in Fremont!
