History

Established in 1996.

Center of the Universe Network Care (COTUNC) was established in 1996 by Brian T. Lumb, DC… in Ballard. No, it has never been in Fremont. In 2007, Matthew Howe, DC came to visit from Florida (after practicing in Ireland) & fell in love with the area, so in 2008 he joined the practice and in January 2009 bought it. His lovely fiancé Carrie became a beautiful part of the practice that November, and the rest, as they say, is history.

When I was young I collected diagnoses like other children collected baseball cards. No one could figure out what was going on with me or how to help, so I really went through the wringer of our medical system. My very identity became caught up in being sick. By the time I was in university, I had gone through every «alternative» available and was at my wits end when a bout of shoulder pain brought me to see a chiropractor. That’s when everything changed. My shoulder healed. The anxiety dropped. My digestion eased. My outlook on life dramatically shifted. It also inspired me to change my path from medical school to chiropractic college.

I discovered NSA while in chiropractic school and had amazing changes that went even deeper than what I mentioned above! NSA proved to be the best way for me to live up to my dream: to change the world by waking people up inside physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
