I love this joint. I love their chicken giblets so much that I had to make a stop at least once a week to get a pound of chicken liver and munch em omw home. Although my main chow is their chicken liver, heart and gizzards. I did tried their churro and fried chicken thigh. It’s pretty much all you can think of, nice and tasty. Super cheap. These people knew me well, some hard working Asians. Anything in their glass case are good, have some snack while wander around Pike Place.

This place was so hard to find! It’s inside the building with the seafood market, but you really have to walk deep within to find it and thankfully, I did! Gizzards, gizzards, gizzards! Get them! deep fried, crunchy goodness! If you want to try other things, like the hearts and liver, you can get a sampler.

Stopped here to get some food. Always make a point of stopping here whenever I visit Seattle. However, they are now closed :(. Bummer!

Fried chicken hearts, gizzards and liver! That alone makes this a five start spot, but the fried chicken, shrimp and various other tempura options just make it that much better. A must stop for a snack in Seattle.

Fried chicken gizzards are awesome! I was looking for breakfast and was uninspired by my choices until I came upon this Asian fried chicken stand at the market. I ordered a chicken thigh, chicken drumstick, and $ 2 worth of gizzards for breakfast, and it was probably one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. The drumstick and thigh were very plump and juicy, similar to Southern style fried chicken — unfortunately a little on the bland side, but still very tasty with excellent batter. What stole the show were the chicken gizzards which were nice and crunchy, and a bit salty. It’s so hard to find good chicken gizzards, and frankly I was shocked to find them at a place to touristy as Pike Market, but they were fantastic and I would definitely order a bag of them(and probably some hearts too) the next time I visit the market.

Are we ready to go? «Not before I get my gizzards!» Chicken Valley at Pike Place is a MUSTSTOP on our market visits with my grandma! In fact, growing up, both grandmas on both sides dearly loved this place! Chicken Valley is a deep fried wonderland of delicacies that only the most refined palate can truly appreciate… or something like that. Ha! Fried chicken gizzards, corn dogs, fried mushrooms, etc. There is something here that just about everyone in the family can appreciate and share in the experience! Truly no visit to Pike Place is complete without seeing the flying fish, tasting the Market Spice tea, filling a bag with fresh produce, getting your picture with Rachel the market pig and a quick snack visit to Chicken Valley!

Chicken Valley is a small vendor in a hidden and out of the way location inside Pike Market. I had read that the fried chicken parts were a must try so made my way over there. I had to ask for directions but eventually found myself in front of the unassuming stall. The Asian vendor also sells kimchee and rice along with every part of fried chicken. I saw the sign for chicken giblets, liver, and heart and the prices were solid. My order: Chicken heart, giblets, liver sampler — $ 3. I was a bit disappointed when I put in my order(no one else was around) and the vendor decided to simply stuff the display model of items in a bag and give to me. I have a feeling the display model was fried that morning and I’m not exactly sure why she didn’t give me a fresher batch. Everything was tasty but room temperature. Chicken Thigh — ~$ 3. Similar to the chicken parts, the vendor looked at various chicken thigh pieces and ended up giving me one that was all the way at the bottom and in the front. I can’t help but feel it was a similar deal to the first batch. She didn’t speak at all when she handed my chicken thigh. Good thing was the thigh was a bit better than the giblets. Nice seasoning. Perfectly fried skin. Overall, I enjoyed my chicken but really wish I had the newly fried giblets and chicken thigh and that both were hot out of the fryer. The fact that I was given what looked like the oldest ones does effect my review. But did love the seasoning. Maybe if I had come earlier in the day or if I had ordered more. Chicken Valley was cash only.

Chicken hearts, chicken liver, and chicken gizzards. Say whaaaaa?! I was so impressed because I cannot find these fried items readily available even in the streets of San Francisco. For 2 bucks, I was able to get a significant amount of these fun items. Aside from that, it looks like a fine establishment with plenty of items to try.

The chicken gizzards are soo good. I love chicken gizzards in all ways(steamed, chopped/stir-fried, fried), but fried might be the best way. The batter is seasoned well, salty enough but not overpowering. For those who have not eaten gizzards before, they are firm and chewy! Get ready to have difficulty trying to bite a small piece off. My advice, eat the whole darn gizzard and chew for days. The tendony/cartilagey(not words, I know. but how else do you describe it?) is sometimes tough, but I like the extra crunch. Minimum order is $ 2, so you get about 8 – 10 pieces from what I recall.

Ordered some drumsticks, gizzards and hearts to try out. Seemed like they might’ve been sitting out for a while. They were a bit greasy and the batter was soft and bland tasting on the drumstick. Might’ve tasted better fresh but it would’ve still lacked in flavor.

I was a little leery at first sight of this old run down joint but my son really wanted to try it so i said why not. I’m so glad we did as the chicken legs and especially thighs were BIG! Very moist and juicy with a light crispy skin. They also have chicken liver and hearts.

Highly disappointed. I came a long way for some bomb food and it was garbage! The food they had available was so hard and unedible. Idk why they would sell poor quality foods. I will never go back here again.

Great spot to grab a snack when you’re at Pike Place Market. It’s not the best chicken I’ve ever had but when I want a piece or two of fried goodness, it’s the right product at the right price. I spend a lot of time at the Market and prefer to eat food that I can carry around with me as opposed to sitting down and eating somewhere. This works well because it comes in a white paper wrapper and it’s good to go. Everything is fried crisp but is lacking in salt and other tasty seasoning. Chicken wings, chicken thighs, chicken drumsticks, chicken livers, chicken gizzards and more! All your fried chicken part needs in one place!

The best thing about this little stand inside Pike’s Market is the cheap price. For a mere $ 4.99 you get two butterflied shrimp, two tempura shrimp and calamari. While none of the food will knock your socks off, smack in the middle of tourist central this is a cheap snack shop :)

FRIEDGIZZARDS. FRIEDLIVER. The ONLY reasons why I come here. Matter of fact, I don’t even know what else they sell here, and neither do I really care, cause it’s almost GUARANTEED that when I do come here I go absolute Ape Ships on both. My earliest memories of going to Pike Place consist of coming here. They even have them in original, or spicy. Just take your pick, or if you’re feeling a little down and dirty, get both to seal the healthy-fried-innards-goodness deal. BTW, I’m just kidding on the ‘healthy’ part. But you know what… healthy has nothing on greatness.

Just north of the Flying Fish in the Pike Place Market is a little, unassuming stand: «Chicken Valley Farm Stores». Like some of the other reviewers, it is a «must stop» any time I’m in the Market. Many people pass it by, but if it beckons you — we should be friends. What looks almost like a convenience stand actually has good fried chicken… and really GREAT fried livers, gizzards and hearts. Bestill my heart. How good? I converted most of my children to gizzard lovers with the goods from Chicken Valley. Very, very inexpensive: you can get a mixed bag of offal for about $ 3 to 5. Important to remember: grab lots of napkins. This chicken is a bit greasy! 39⁄30

Cheap, unhealthy, and delicious deep fried chicken, chicken hearts, gizzards, & livers are pretty much their specialties here! My friend and I didn’t want to eat too much, so we bought their sampler bag which includes all three deep fried treats(hearts, livers, and gizzards)! The hearts and gizzards weren’t bad at all… The liver however was my least favorite! The texture wasn’t for me, but I’m proud of myself for at least trying it and getting in touch with my Andrew Zimmern side! LOL These greasy treats can be a mess to eat around the market, but I’d recommend for people to at least try it. You might just like it!

Deep fried chicken hearts are incredibly unhealthy but so goddamn good! I’ve only had chicken hearts sauteed but this was really tasty. I suppose most things breaded and then deep fried would be. I only got the $ 2 minimum order since a half pound might’ve sent me to the ER after all the other delicious things I had already ingested around Pike. That was way more than enough for me. I might even consider just asking for 6 of them and paying the $ 2. My wife was so grossed out. They’re just hearts for chrissakes!

One of my favorite parts of Pike Place Market is the fried chicken you can get here. It’s in one of the more touristy parts of Seattle, and you’d think fried chicken is the kind of stuff you get at fast food restaurants. But this is far above fast food quality. The food here is cheap and greasy, so I always feel like I’m putting on a lot of weight by eating food from here. But it’s definitely worth it! It appears to be a mom and pop store, but they make food better than restaurants with lots more employees. They also have a better selection; much of the appeal here comes from fried chicken organs that you don’t normally find elsewhere. The fried chicken gizzards here are some of the best treats for your taste buds you’ll ever find. They are priced according to weight, but are not terribly expensive. Since they are so greasy, they tend to make a mess in the white paper bags they come in, as well as your fingers if you pick them up with your bare hands. But wandering through the market while munching on gizzards is one of the greatest feelings in the world. I don’t suppose they’re the healthiest choice considering how deep-fried they are, but if you’ve come to Pike Place Market, you’re probably there to have fun, right?
