Timely, good service, quiet door. Thought I could reprogram my existing remotes and keypad to the new door myself, but found it challenging. Company wanted $ 100 extra to come out to do the reprogramming even though door and installation was $ 2000.

I called to get a new garage door lift installed, was given the option for next day service, when i said yes please book that appointment i was told that was never an option. I said fine please schedule me for Monday 10⁄12 at 2pm, they said the window was actually from 1 – 4. I said ok but please try to schedule me at the beginning of the window, which they said they would try. Flash forward to 415 and i had not heard anything from the company, i called to check on the status and was passed to the dispatch department. I was connected with a machine that said they were helping other customers and i needed to hang up and call back. I then decided to cancel my appointment and called back to do so. I was given a little attitude when they said their driver would now have to head the other way, but they had cancelled the appointment. At 4:45 i received a call from the driver who said he could try to be at my home by 5:30, he was polite but i informed him i had cancelled my appointment and wished him a good night. Driver sounded disappointed about the loss of business. Lack of customer service.

This company falsely quoted me, charging me nearly $ 200 more than I was told. Granted they were prompt, no one wants to be charged almost double what they thought they were going to pay.
Bottom line: go elsewhere for your garage repairs.

Warning! Like all the other reviews this company is a scam and ripoff. I needed two springs and garage door opener. The cost was $ 229.99 for each spring plus $ 150.00 to installed. The springs are less than $ 50.00 each at Home Depot. Their garage door opener was $ 529.00 plus $ 150.00 to install. It ended up costing me over $ 1,400.00 in parts, labor and tax. They also charge me $ 25.00 to haul away the old garage door opener. They did not ask if I wanting it haul away, they just took it and charge me. I did not know this until my invoice was email to me. Also the $ 529.00 for the garage door opener is with the $ 125.00 off coupon already taken off. They jacked the price up on the garage door opener to recouped the loss on the coupon. Otherwise it would have been $ 654.00. I would never recommend or use this company again.

Troy was the serviceman to determine whether my RV door could be repaired.
Unfortunately, he could not do it and did not have the expertise or personnel to install a new door (12×12). He was extremely courteous and considerate of my problem. Just wish he could have performed a miracle. I would recommend your company, and Troy anytime for regular garage door service.

I had a nagging jamming issue with my garage door that was too complicated for a mere mortal to figure out — — these guys came out on a special tune-​up deal and repaired the door, it now operates and sounds new! Very happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone.

WARNING! This operation is a joke & a scam. I am a real estate broker and had a client that needed a replacement remote for an odd brand of door opener. I called Seattle Overhead Door to see if they could provide a solution (apparently they are the same company these guys and as Garage Door Service Co.?). They said they could send out a person to program a generic remote. They said it was an $ 89.00 service call and the remote was $ 39.00. I called the client to check their schedule then called back. I saw an online coupon for a $ 29.00 service call. I mentioned this to the person and they quoted back to me that my client was receiving two remotes and he would honor the $ 29.00 coupon and made it sound like my total would be well under $ 100.00. When the person finally showed up at my client’s house at 6:30 p.m. the price of the remotes was $ 49.00 EACH, there was a $ 29.00 service call PLUS AN $ 89.00 PROGRAMMING fee that was news to me after two previous phone calls. My client was deeply frustrated so I went ahead and paid over $ 200 after «negotiating» down to $ 44.00 for each of the remotes with the used car salesman-​like technician.

My wife made an appointment with this company to repair a broken spring on our rental property. I met with the technician this afternoon and was not pleased with the experience based on the following:
1. The website appears to be a Seattlel company but the technician who appeared was under the name GDS and the bill I received was from GDS based out of San Diego, CA.
2. Over the phone we were told the repair would range from $ 150 – 250. The technician however stated the repair would be $ 150 labor plus $ 150 parts. I confirmed he would honor the $ 70 online coupon and agreed to the price.
3. Upon completion the technician told me there was a $ 69 service fee. This was not covered in the quote. This was completely unprofessional and scam to recoup the coupon amount.
Due to the these issues I will never do business with this company again or recommend this company. I regret not having read some of the other reviews on Unilocal beforehand.

This place is THE WORST! Their pricing was fine, but they cancelled my first two appointments with them (as if MY time isn’t valuable?!). They weren’t on time for their third appointment with me, so I called to find out what was going on. I was told they would be there around 3:00, when the scheduled time was noon sharp. Again, no regard for my time and obviously no interest in providing good customer service. This is not to mention the fact that I was transferred between two different individuals during my call and had to explain the situation all over again. After explaining, there was no sound on the other end of the line, so I said «Hello?» This is what I got in response: «Yeah…I’m looking.» When I told them to cancel my appointment because I was interested in giving any money to a company that treats customers with such a lack of respecty. The response from the rep on the other end: «Okay, have a nice day.» LOSERS!!!

I called to make an appointment with this company and tried to get them to narrow down a price a little more then they were I even could describe the exact type of spring to them that I needed repaired the guy that was helping me was very rude and condescending about how they have been doing this for 30 years and this is how its done kind of attitude. He defiantly doesn’t sound like he was old enough to have been doing it for 30 years. Long story short I found a company that could help me better lock down an estimated price for my land lord (Rainer Doors). So I called to cancel my appointment and asked to talk to Scooter the guy that had been helping me before. I let him know I wanted to cancel, he asked why so I told him and he started going off on me about how that there just trying to get me and there going to charge way more and that they don’t have the credibility that his company does and then proceeded to hang up on me. So Just to let you know very bad customer service right out the door. Very Glad I Canceled do not use these guys. Oh also they do not show anything on there website about being licensed or bonded they might be but I really feel like there is something funny going on here.

These guys replaced the broken spring on my garage door, replaced the other spring that was clearly on the way out, installed a bracket to repair a crack in the door, and replaced the pulleys (which supposedly had bad bearings). They showed up really fast, same day, and very courteous throughout the process. They seemed to really know what they were doing, and the technician came back and spent a good 15 minutes extra on an adjustment he missed (gap at left door bottom) even though I had paid and he was about to leave. I’m really happy with the service, and they have a lifetime warranty on the springs. (of course reading the fine print, you still have to pay $ 89 for a service call after 30 days on any lifetime warranty service, which is a slap in the face)
Now for the bad news: The only thing preventing a 5 star rating is the price. $ 510 after tax and a $ 50 coupon for replacing two springs, two pulleys, making adjustments, and adding a metal bracket to fix a crack in the door seems WAY too high, even with the lifetime warranty on the springs. For all I know that is the going rate, but I probably should have shopped around more. :-(
Why does it seem that no matter who you call, a locksmith, a plumber, a gutter replacer, a garage door repair company, they all want to charge you $ 500? Or is that the standard «fleece the customer» price?
