Chunlin Gao, LAc, MAc

Dr Gao is exceptionally skilled in her work, professional, and always so thoughtful in her manner. I initially went to Dr Gao at the recommendation of my Sports Medicine physician in 2006. I had developed severe pain emanating from my right lower back to my ankle, and I had to use walking sticks to travel back and forth to work via the ferry. I had been treated by the sports medicine physician along with an orthopedic surgeon at a major Seattle clinic, had an MRI and 3 ultrasounds but the medical staff were unable to diagnose my condition and I didn’t want to use pain medication, hence the recommendation to see Dr. Gao for pain management. Three appointments over the course of 10 days and the walking sticks are only used on hikes. I’ve continued to see Dr. Gao for general well being, stress, and the lower back pain that occurs when I overdue my garden labor. At the end of each treatment I can count on lack of pain and limber body condition, along with being very relaxed and peaceful. I’ll continue going to her on a regular basis in part because I have a physical condition that needs periodic treatment, but without the impact of any pain medication.

Dr. Gao, is an amazing healer. She knows her Eastern Medecine and has helped me with so many medical things. From my blood clots, to my skeletal to my female hormone issues. She is a wonderful Doctor, and has a very quiet serene energy about her. When you arrive in her office, there is a warm energy that is very calming and soothing. Her english is not so good, however her understanding of the human body
and what is wrong with you is SPOT ON AMAZING. I highly recommend her and have had several friends find good health from her as well.

Highly recommend Dr. Gao! I was rear ended by an SUV and consequently experienced horrible neck and lower back pain. My back went out on me multiple times for the first time in my life after this experience. I spent many hours going to a sports medicine doctor and seeing a physical therapist regularly. The only time I felt any kind of relief was during my acupuncture sessions with Dr. Gao. She has an amazing ability to understand the body even when you can’t explain the pain. And because of her ability to heal I feel I was able to make a 100% recovery on her treatments alone! I also work in downtown Seattle so her location is very convenient. I am very grateful for her skills and I will be back!

Dr. Gao is truly a wonderful healer and without a doubt a real master at acupuncture. I credit her with major improvements in my physical health and sense of well being. I had been waking up in the middle of the night. I also clenched my teeth a lot. When I visited Dr Gao, she was very patient and caring. She asked me to describe my symptoms, and took notes.
I had about 5 treatment sessions with her. After my first session, I felt less tensed. During the second session, I actually fell asleep on the treatment bed! After the 3^rd session, I was able to sleep through the night. At the end of the 5^th session, I was no longer clenching my teeth.
While chatting with her, I learnt that she had years of doctor experience in China’s Emergency Room. She is a very qualified doctor. I highly recommend Dr Gao.

Dr. Gao is literally the best Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Doctor in Seattle. I would drive from as far as 3 hours away just to see her. Run, don’t walk, to this doctor. You will be treated with care, incisive diagnostics and lengthy healing sessions. I simply cannot recommend her highly enough!

Dr. Gao is amazing. I began seeing her for chronic fatigue about five years ago. She has been able to help me go from barely functioning to leading a normal life. She is the most skilled acupuncturist that I have ever seen. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking treatment of both small and large ailments.

Dr. Gao is very experienced acupuncturist and medical doctor from China. I started to see Dr. Gao in 2010 and have not looked elsewhere since. She has been able to treat successfully a variety of ailments of mine. I have seen other acupuncturists for my prolonged irregular menstrual cycle (15 days) and Dr Gao has been the only one who has been able to «fix» it and now I am regular. As well, when I was going through some difficult times and had shortness of breath, I always looked forward to seeing Dr Gao because after my treatment I would be able to breathe fully again. Literally breathe. It was amazing. If you want authentic acupuncture treatment from a real Chinese doctor, Dr. Gao is who you are looking for.

Dr. Gao saved my life. I started seeing her in January 2011 with various physical and emotional issues. She immediately showed me how my body being out of balance affected so many areas of my life. I noticed a difference after the first session. In the year that I have been her patient I find that I am not just feeling physically better but emotionally better too. When I get sick, Dr. Gao is the first person I think of and it warms my heart to know that she will be there for me and accepts me as I am and pushes me to be better too. If you are looking for an acupuncturist she is A+. If you are like me and you never even thought of acupuncture but wanted to try it, she is an A++.
