Marissa took our engagement photos in Queen Anne and they turned out PERFECT. While shooting the photos Marissa made us feel relaxed and both my fiancé and I enjoyed it. To sum it up, not only was the experience fun, but the product we received was beyond my expectations. Beautifully edited photos, and we received them ahead of schedule! Highly recommended!

Erik & Marissa are an amazing team. The main reason that we chose them over other photographers is that they cared about what we wanted (we love to dance, so we wanted amazing candid dance floor pictures. Other photographers tried to convince us to spend more time on getting ready and less time on dance floor photography — Erik and Marissa were ALL IN for the party!) It was really nice having a team of 2, so that we got a mix of different perspectives and were able to capture multiple moments that were happening at the same time. They were so fun and supportive, easy to work with, and turned around our photos in less than a month after the wedding. And, they take great pictures.

Wow. Where do I start ?! If you are looking for a photographer, look no further. Seriously. When my husband and I started planning a «spontaneous» (not really sure if it’s considered spontaneous if you plan. ;)) elopement in Seattle, he immediately informed me we NEEDED to have a professional photographer. We NEVER take pictures together, not even selfies (lol) Seriously. We just aren’t picture people. But we knew we needed some amazing pictures, as we were eloping alone… no friends, no family, no nothing. Just us and beautiful Seattle. I began my search by emailing at least 10 photographers in the Seattle area. Some were too pricey, some were not friendly enough, and some just didn’t reply soon enough for my liking. Then Marissa responded to one of my emails. OMG, she was (is) amazing. She literally helped me plan my trip. She helped me with restaurants, make-​up and hair recommendations, places to stay, places to see, etc. She gave us sooo many options on elopement locations. I could go on and on about how amazing and helpful Marissa is. But, I’ll get to the photography portion. We met Erik and Marissa at our elopement location about 30 minutes before the «ceremony». They were absolutely amazing from the second we met them. So friendly, welcoming, helpful, such a beautiful couple in every way. I couldn’t have asked for better photographers, and marriage witnesses ;). They captured our ceremony and then we had a little photoshoot after. Since we did not have any guests at our wedding, we knew we would have family begging for pictures. Oh my goodness. Erik and Marissa delivered a phenomenal amount of quality pictures in an extremely reasonable amount of time. All of our pictures are just gorgeous. They made us feel so comfortable in some «uncomfortable» photo positions ;) They say that the most awkward feeling poses make great pictures ! Haha. In all seriousness though, even though we didn’t have any guests, we never felt alone. Erik and Marissa were absolutely amazing in every aspect. We are so in love with our wedding photos and our family is so happy we found such incredible photographers to capture our wedding day, since we didn’t really want them there. Ha ! If we are ever in the Seattle area again needing photographers, I will definitely use them, no doubt.

Erik and Marissa are not simply vendors – they are are wonderful, genuine people who will go the extra mile to make sure your day is as special as possible. They are caring, responsible, and talented. We cannot recommend them more highly – they easily were the best photographers we have ever dealt with.

Marissa and Erik, you are awesome. My new family dance company, RipCity Dance, needed a photo and video shoot, to create company photos and a video for an Indiegogo campaign. I provided Erik and Marissa with a three-​minute video script, and we set three hours for the shoot. The shoot, working with several family dancers (including youngsters) and three dance teachers, was incredible. They brought so much skill and talent and sensitivity to their work, it makes me smile every time I think of that beautiful day. It was really the day my company came to life, and they had a lot to do with it. They delivered the product on time, and it is brilliant. The photos catch life and movement and personality — incredible. They even created an extra short video for me to use for my company. And the video editing is amazing, a world class piece of work. And, Erik even wrote an original music score for the video! So, really, is there nothing they cannot do? I cannot recommend these wonderful, talented folk too highly. Thank you, Marissa and Erik!

Erik and Marissa are phenomenal and we could not recommend them more! We chose Ciccarelli Photography for our engagement photo session and the entire experience has been amazing. From initial contact to preparing for the session, the session itself, and finally delivery of the photos, Erik and Marissa have been nothing short of professional, down to earth, helpful, and extremely enjoyable to work with.
Marissa responded to my initial inquiry very quickly, and my fiancé and I could tell right away that they would be able to provide us with exactly what we were looking for. The fact that they turned into a couple you can’t help but want to be best friends with is an added bonus! They were very accommodating to our location desires and provided great tips for hair, makeup, and clothing.
Neither my fiancé or I are extremely comfortable in front of the camera, so we were both a bit nervous for the photo shoot. Erik and Marissa immediately put us at ease. They were fun, funny, and clearly passionate about what they do, showing excitement as they glanced at the shots they were capturing. They made us feel like we were the only people they’ve ever photographed, and we loved every minute of the session!
After the session, we were so anxious to see our photos, and Marissa and Erik turned them around so quickly! In just about a week, we were provided with the full portfolio of photos! And we cannot believe how amazing they turned out. So many people have complimented the photos. We really cannot speak highly enough of Erik and Marissa, and we cannot wait to use them again in the future.

We just had our engagement session with Erik and Marissa a few days ago and they are amazing! Marissa was very helpful in helping us choose a location (we are fairly new to Seattle), she sent an email with tons of tips, outfit ideas and locations with pictures attached. We have never had professional pictures done and I was the nervous nelly but Erik and Marissa are so great at giving direction and so positive they really made us feel at ease. I chose them based on Unilocal reviews and they definitely did not disappoint, they truly deliver an excellent service and the pictures they have done for other couples are beautiful. We were recommended Ciccarelli Photography by a fried who also used them for their engagement and wedding. We are so happy we chose them. They have been nothing short of great!
They were so helpful in helping us pick out an engagement photo session day and time that would work best based on the season we were in. Not only that, when my husband tore his Achilles 2 weeks before our scheduled photo shoot, they were beyond accommodating. They helped come up with creative photo positions since my husband was in a cast and crutches. Additionally, they let us have a second photo session when my husband was out of a cast and had full function of his leg, so that we could get all the engagement photos we had imagined.
For our wedding day, again, they were nothing short of amazing. They captured some of the most amazing photos that I’m just in love with. We have a rather large extended family and they had all of our notes and photo shots down. It was so streamlined and easy. We had so much fun working with them. They are open to your photo ideas and very accommodating and flexible. Not to mention, their photos are amazing. Truly worth every penny.

Like everybody has said, these two are simply amazing to work with. I communicated with Marissa to shoot a last minute engagement session and she was kind enough to squeeze us in for one.
I was impressed by how well she helped us prepare for the shoot; from giving advice on our outfits to recommending several places for our chosen theme.
Though my fiancé and I are both awkward, they made us feel comfortable and enjoy everything. They gave great directions and right off the bat they said «don’t worry about looking weird. The rule is: the weirder it feels, the better it looks on camera»
We got the photos five days later and we absolutely love them!

I think these are the most amazing photographers on earth. I say that both as an amateur photographer, and as someone who has a few close friends who are wedding photographers.
My fiancé and I hired Marissa and Erik for our very small elopement. Since there would be no family present — it was really important to us to find someone who could ‘capture all the moments’ that they could not personally witness. We communicated that we would prefer a ‘photojournalism’ like shoot — and man, did they deliver 1000% on that. All the photos feel very natural, are beautifully lit, and feel very ‘in the moment’.
On top of being amazingly skilled, and having a great eye, they are true professionals. I got a glimpse of their equipment — and let me tell you: they sport the real deal stuff. Soft focus optics, reallllly good lenses (any photographer worth their salt knows an investment in lenses is really what separates the photo class 101 folks from the pro’s). These folks are fully prepared to make you look great in any setting or lighting.
Marissa did most of the pose work and pre-​wedding communication — and we found her very easy to work with. She is efficient, organized, and very good at giving directions — which is perfect when you tend to be awkward and a bit uncomfortable with being photographed. She also sent us a very handy list of vendors and locations to choose from before the wedding!
The photos were done *really fast* (3 days — wow!), GLOWINGLY BEAUTIFUL, and sent everybody’s parents into tears. My grandma said that I created the «glow» — but I think it was a multiple thousand dollar lens kit plus the Ciccarelli’s who did all that (…yeah, Unilocal,don’t tell my grandma I said that ok?)!

My youngest son recently moved to Seattle and my husband and I went to visit him last November. When my other two children who live in Chicago and San Francisco were able to join us at the last minute, I decided to try to find a photographer to take some family photos for holiday cards. I contacted our hotel concierge who recommended three different local photographers. I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to hire someone with such short notice, plus I only wanted to spend about an hour taking the photos as we were very limited on our time together that weekend. All three were actually available, but after looking over the website and seeing their work, I decided to go with Ciccarelli Photography. I liked that I was going to be able to pay just a flat fee and receive digital downloads of all the photos. Just what I needed to make my holiday cards! I was extremely happy with Marissa and Erik! They were very professional and the photos turned out exactly how I’d hoped. I highly recommend them.

I hired Erik and Marissa to do our engagement photos. I’ve only been in the Seattle area for a year and a half and my fiancée was coming from Toronto so we did not know the city well at all. Thankfully Marissa was able to provide a lot of suggestions for possible locations for shoots and we decided on Ballard, which was exactly what my fiancée and I were looking for.
During the shoot, both Erik and Marissa’s demeanor made the shoot as casual feeling as possible. Despite having us pose in the middle of the road, in the middle of sidewalks with people walking by, neither of us felt out of place.
Overall, I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a wedding or engagement shoot.

We decided to hire Marissa & Erik after seeing all the amazing reviews on Unilocal.A 5 star rating isn’t enough to describe their work!!! Right from the beginning, Marissa & Erik made us feel so comfortable about the entire shoot. I’m normally very uncomfortable around the camera, but our 1 hour photoshoot went by so quickly it felt like 10 minutes! Marissa & Erik were so fun to work with! I will definitely recommend them 100% to anyone!

Marissa and Eric photographed our July wedding. From the very beginning I could tell I was going to love them. Marissa responded to my email inquiry right away. She was very down to earth, accommodating to our budget and really listened to what we wanted. Her and Eric together are a delightful team, they captured the joy and love of the day perfectly. We received our pictures super quick, they even surprised us with a video montage that we have watched literally 100 times. I will recommend them to everyone I know!

We will be coming back to Erik and Marissa for any future photos sessions we need. They are 1. adorable 2. personable 3. remember things you tell them!!! They almost seemed more excited about our pictures than we were but I know that’s not true. We hired them for our engagement photos based off of the Unilocal reviews. As you read through them you will see they are all fantastic. We were mesmerized by our photos. They came out immaculate and I really mean that. Don’t hesitate. Stop reading and call them. You won’t regret it. I love their story they posted on their website and if anything, above all else, I wish Erik and Marissa much love for them as they are amazing people and took the time to catch our amazing moments.

First of all, let me start off by writing that they were amazing! Their reviews on Unilocal were impeccable. But, what really set them a part from everyone else was how personable everyone described them to be.
This was our first time taking professional photos so it was kind of awkward for us at first. They assured us that if it felt awkward, it will look great. They were professional yet fun, enthusiastic, and personal. It felt easy and not forced.
Even after they took the photos, they continued to keep us in the loop. They even sent us a video they made with music in the background with some of our photos just as a preview.
The best part was that we had access to all of the photos they took, which is not the case for a lot of photographers. We had so much variety, some were fun, others a bit more romantic, and several were very natural.
Overall, I couldn’t have been happier! I would recommend Erik and Marissa any day!

My wife and I hired the Ciccarellis for our engagement photos and wedding pictures. The Ciccarellis are so incredible I don’t even know where to begin, but I’ll try.
Personality:
They’re both professional, nice, easy-​going, and fun. They’re people you can’t help but want to be friends with. They know how to make everybody around them happy which results in great pictures.
Photo quality:
We are floored with how our pictures turned out. There aren’t enough positive adjectives in the world to describe how great they are. They go the extra mile to get the perfect pictures that make everybody look their best.
Other stuff you should know:
They got to know us. They listened to our ideas/​preferences and made sure the end result was better than we imagined.

I think my wife summarized it best when she said «Erik and Marissa were a blast to work with and we couldn’t imagine a better experience. We can’t recommend them enough!

Erik and Marissa are truly the best. The last family picture we had as a family was when I was just born. Now I have a sister and a brother and it’s been 20 years since we’ve taken any professional photo together. Erik and Marissa were apart of a very important moment in our lives. We took our family photos at Gas Works– a great little park with an industrial feel. It was the perfect weather– 70’s and sunny. I love this couple– they’re friendly, passionate, creative, talented, and an all around pleasure. They went out of their way to get the right shot– even if it involved using shaders to block out the sun. We felt at ease with them and they definitely made us comfortable. If I ever need pictures for whatever reason, I’ll be contacting them again! Just fantastic!

Never before has my family been motivated to take an official family portrait, but there are suddenly spouses and grandchildren and dogs and it finally seemed like a good idea.
A good idea to about half of us, that is. The other half were just going to have to grin and bear it.
But then the unimaginable happened!
They actually *enjoyed it*!
In fact, my «I will do this because my mother, my sister and my wife want me to» brothers each called me to discuss the fact that HEY! THOSE CICCARELLIS WERE REALLY GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO! AND PS, I REALLY LIKED THEM TOO!
So we’re all Erik and Marissa fans and we’re glad that I accidentally stumbled across their Living Social deal, but we were withholding final judgment until we saw the pictures. I am very pleased to report that a CD with our photo bounty arrived yesterday and there are really great pictures of everyone — some posed and some candid, some funny and some beautiful.
