Dr Heidi and staff are all fantastic. They got me in quickly for a second opinion and were as friendly and professional as can be. Unfortunately, my tooth was uncooperative and wouldn’t get numb, so Dr. Heidi was super gracious and called my other dentist to explain the situation and told me I should let him try after a few days. I ended up having to leave without getting the work done, but my two visits with them were so pleasant I felt the need to write this review.

After years of bad dental experiences and an already very expensive mouth, I absolutely hate going to the dentist. Good news, Dr. Crawford makes it more than bearable. She came recommended by a friend and is only a few blocks from our apartment, so she was an easy choice. I’ll keep coming back for the state of the art equipment and the generally wonderful service provided here.
The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is that they forgot to tell me that they changed their hours and moved my 7AM appointment to 7:30AM, which was kind of annoying at the time (they were incredibly apologetic), but that would never keep me away.

I had not visited a dentist in 15 years, so I was not looking forward to visiting Columbia City Dental. Everyone involved– from the receptionist to the doctor immediately put me at ease. The hygienist was gentle and wonderfully mannered, explaining everything along the way. Dr. Crawford spent a good deal of time with me going over everything, and gave me concrete figures on how much it would cost to have two cavities filled. I can’t recommend this place more for anyone looking for a low cost, high quality dental experience. Fear not!

Truly the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Her office is unlike any other I’ve been in, it’s actually calming, and doesn’t scream icky dentist. She was kind and patient and we somehow managed to chat up a storm in between cleaning and flossing. She’s great!

Both myself and my one-​year-​old has seen the dentist at Columbia city dental. They were great. Even at one point when my child was very Squirrley they entertained him with toys and other things while I finished up. I feel very welcomed and this place is very family-​friendly. Recommended for anybody especially all the new families in Columbia city

Short version: really great experience at Columbia City Dental. The office is modern, clean and cozy, with all of the state-​of-​the-​art dental equipment right in my neighborhood. The staff is warm and friendly, and Dr. Crawford’s chair-​side manner made everything seem easy and alright. Best experience ever in the dentists chair; so much so, I scheduled my 6 month cleaning before I left.
Long version: I am not a fan of going to the dentist, none at all! I suffer the experience as a necessary evil to have healthy teeth. Going into the dentist, I expect to have my time wasted waiting until long after my appointment time, and then stuck waiting some more in the chair, etc. In the last 5 years I have gone to 4 different dentists. I was looking for a modern practice that accepts my dental insurance and would guide my dental health plan. Unfortunately, in these years of searching I had the spa-​dentist, that was more interested in her own celebrity and selling me services than my teeth; to another dentist that advised me to get really expensive dental work (e.g. Invisalign, braces) that I don’t believe I need. I didn’t like the experience with my previous dentists, so I went looking for a new provider and came across Columbia City Dental.
Overall, it’s all about the staff and Dr. Crawford. Really nice, friendly and professional, they took the time to talk me through each step of my cleaning. I think it’s great having someone chat me up about what they are doing in my mouth and why. For the first time in my 30+ years of going to the dentist I had a warm-​fuzzy feeling and wanted to hug my dentist! I came away with clean teeth, a positive evaluation of my dental health – always a winner. Also, Dr. Crawford didn’t try to talk me into any orthodontia or any products-​for-​purchase. I got what I needed: high quality dental care. I came away with more than I expected: the best experience at the dentist, ever.

Dr Meghan has an excellent understanding of the meaning of «bedside» manners or in this case «chairside». She and her staff are professional yet personable. The office is equipped with the latest and greatest technology and she is extremely proficient. I highly recommend Dr Meghan and her staff, look forward to many years of being one of her patients.

I had been avoiding going to the dentist for awhile but popped a few fillings on a scuba trip and had to make an emergency appointment. Dr. Crawford was able to get me in right away to look at the damage and was able to present me with some great options. One of the best dental experiences I have ever had. Dr. Crawford and hygienist Becky were great about explaining their findings and making sure I was comfortable during the examination. They were also great about working with my insurance and providing me good estimates
Dr. Crawford even checked back with me to see how a tooth was feeling because she remembered I was leaving town!

Thank you all so much for a fantastic dental cleaning. This service was the most gentle that I’ve had, and by far the most informative. I loved all the modern technology and with such great visuals I feel like I know my mouth better than ever!
I also have to compliment the customer service. Both Dr. Crawford and her assistant Becky were super friendly and totally made me feel like they cared about my teeth! Also, Dr. Crawford gave me recommendations for dental fillings that would be needed at some point over the next few years but really wanted me to get the most life out of my current ones so that the overall health of my teeth was the top priority. Which is awesome because I always need like a ton of dental work, and this was the first time I wasn’t given a $ 2000+ statement for treatment. I look forward to my next visit in six months!

Super central new office right in the heart of Columbia City. Just went in today for a cleaning and check up and loved the place. Dr. Meghan and Becky her hygienist are so professional and friendly. Cleaning and checkup was gentle and very thorough. The office is super clean and state of the art. Fantastic new local business that I will be bringing the whole family back to!
