Established in 1968.

Corry’s Fine Dry Cleaning is family owned and operated since 1968. Starting in 1968 as Sunshine Carpet Cleaners with Corry, and his wife Janet as the only employees. Corry and Janet expanded the business to include the cleaning of draperies, and changed the name of the company to Sunshine Carpet & Drapery Cleaners. The business continued to grow and in 1971 Corry purchased Lake City Cleaners, located on Lake City Way, and began his own drycleaning business under the name Corry’s Fine Dry Cleaning.

Today, Corry’s Fine Dry Cleaning, has 6 locations in the Puget Sound region. Offering professional drycleaning and laundry services along with in-​home carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, oriental & domestic rug cleaning, full service drapery cleaning, wedding gown cleaning & restoration, and fire & flood restoration services.

They write your name with black permanent marker directly on your white shirts and consider this normal and don’t understand why you’re complaining, but instead tell you to tuck in your shirts so their writing is not visible… thank you very much, but dry cleaners are not supposed to tell me how to wear my shirts to address their «normal» cleaning process issues.
Don’t go there if you agree with me that dry cleaners should _​never_​write on your clothes. I consider my shirts ruined now…

This is a way overdue review for a visit I paid this location back before Unilocal even existed. Like others, I unsuspectingly dropped off two cotton shirts here to be cleaned. They were courteous enough with a normal turnaround time, but holy crap! When I came to pick up, the bill was $ 20 for two shirts! I was pretty shocked and it’s gratifying to see that others at other Corry’s around Seattle have had the same experience. There’s an abundance of awesome mom and pop cleaners that offer superior prices with equivalent or superior quality of service. I’d never step into one of their stores again… well, maybe if someone *else* footed the bill. ;) Kidding.

I do not dry clean often, so I can’t speak to the prices. I cleaned a pea coat, suit jacket and suit pants and it cost me $ 40.
I have used Corry’s several times now; had a lot of weddings this summer and I leave it on the dance-​floor, if you know what I mean. Had to clean the suit a bunch and they always take great car of me! If you have 3 – 4 items, the turn-​around is normally only a couple days. Very friendly staff and glad to have a local, reliable dry cleaners!

Horrible! $ 3.18 per shirt before tax!!!
I asked why so high and was told because they do sewing and buttons for free. What?! I didn’t ask for that. Huge rip off– scam. No prices listed anywhere in the store or on the ticket I got when I dropped them off. Never going back.

There’s no excuse for complaining about cost. Ask for their price list before you use them. I don’t dry clean items often – dresses, wool clothes, a comforter now and then – but I’ve used Corrys about ten times and have never had a bad experience. They email you when your items are ready, and the location is very convenient.

You know that saying, that if you have to ask the price, you can’t afford it? That applies here.
I feel violated. I just got the bill from Corry’s for my dry-​cleaning, and it is absurd. Beyond absurd. And I should have known because nowhere do they post their prices. Not on their website. Not in their store. Not on the slip they give you as you walk out the door.
And if you have a coupon, you had better use it when you come in, because once you get the bill, you’re going to regret if you didn’t. They won’t accept it after you drop off your clothes (incoming orders? who would know what that means??)
How bad is it? $ 8 for a pair of dry cleaned pants. $ 4 for a laundered shirt. That is double what I have paid at any other establishment. And it is patently absurd.
My mistake for not checking Unilocal first.

The cleaning job (sport coat and dress shirts) seems fine, the store is clean, and the service is fine.
Now… If they only honored their own Valpak coupons properly, I might give them another star or two. Coupon says «$ 10 off next order of $ 25 or more. Present with incoming order.» Which I did, and my order was close to $ 30. But then the clerk says that an «order» has to consist of 5 items or less. I’m thinking, wtf, this is bait and switch! Nothing about that on their Valpak coupon. They should ethically disclose their lame 5 piece rule or they’ll piss off potential customers, and damage their credibility.
