I’m so glad we found Matt before going on vacation! We had just moved to the area, so we didn’t have any neighbors or nearby friends to rely on, and I was really hesitant to board my pets after moving them to a new home. I was especially concerned about boarding my guinea pig (guinea pigs require fresh vegetables as part of their diet and an endless supply of hay). Matt was great with both our guinea pig and our cat! My cat really warmed up to him and I was happy to get pictures of him as a «lap kitty.» :) I was not anxious at all during our trip, I knew our boys were being well taken care of. The litter box was clean and there wasn’t any litter on the floor, I appreciated not having to clean up after our long journey home. The mail was on the kitchen table and the garbage had been taken out. Thanks, Matt! I will definitely call him next time we go out of town.

I contacted Creature Comforts a week prior to Thanksgiving and although Matt was booked he told me he might have someone who lives in my area that would be available to care for my cats. He and Molly (the cat sitter) came over for a consultation and they were both extremely professional and friendly. One of my cats has diabetes and requires a shot of insulin twice a day… Molly was wonderful! She even sent me photos and updates of my boys while I was away! After returning home, I not only received a thank you card in the mail from Matt but he included a couple pictures that Molly took of the boys… what a wonderful and thoughtful gesture.

My husband and I found Creature Comforts when looking for a petsitter over the holidays. We are overjoyed to have found such a friendly, professional business to care for our cats. Matt was prompt in his response to our inquiry, and made us feel comfortable right away. Our sitter, Jonelle, was phenomenal. She took excellent care of our buddies, and sent updates throughout the week we were away.

Matt is my mid-​week dog walker for Molly. He’s absolutely wonderful and here is why:
1. Matt is super friendly, and I could tell right away in our consult meeting that he is great with dogs.
2. Matt is very easy to get a hold of and super responsive to emails, calls, texts – basically all methods of communication.
3. Matt uses a punch card system to track visits. I love it.
4. Matt is quite flexible. I was pulled into work one day, and Matt was able to walk my pup on short notice.
Thanks to Matt, I’m able to go to work worry free. He’s super reliable and easy to work with.

Matt was fantastic. He was very careful to keep us informed and up-​to-​date on our cat’s status/​We especially appreciated the hand written note waiting for us when we returned. We will use his service again.

I contacted Matt after reading his reviews on Unilocal and Google, and my experience with Creature Comforts was just as good as all the reviews say. I’m new to Seattle, and I was a little worried about finding someone to watch my cat for 10 days just a month after moving here– especially because my cat has a heart condition and needs daily medication. In our introductory consultation, Matt was super friendly, attentive and well-​prepared. He immediately put me at ease and was on top of all the logistics. During my trip, Matt texted me almost daily with photos and updates on my cat, and everything looked great when I came home — clean litterbox, full water dish, mail neatly on the table, etc. I would definitely recommend Creature Comforts, and Matt is now my go-​to person for pet sitting.

I can’t say enough great things about Matt and his services! I just moved to Seattle and lucked out in finding him by doing a basic search for pet sitters and hit the jackpot! My kitties are my babies, and leaving them for 10 days produced serious separation anxiety and guilt for me. Matt helped put my fears and anxiety to rest with his calm demeanor and the manner in which he cared for my cats on the first visit. It was obvious that he truly loves cats, and that was important for me. In the past, when I have even left town for a few days, my cats leave «presents» on the bed, destroy furniture, etc. BUT when I came home from this trip, they were fine, it was almost as if I hadn’t even left them!!! That to me spoke volumes of the care he gave them in my absence, and definitely made me a lifelong customer. Matt also sent me pictures and a video of my cats, and responded immediately to any questions or concerns I had while away.

Matt and Katelyn definitely put me at ease as it was my first time leaving my pets for a week. Matt took the time to explain the wonderful service his company provided and worked around my schedule, while Katelyn kept me informed (I was in a different time zone) and also looked after my plants during my time away from home. I was very impressed and grateful for their work and their passion to take care of my pets and home. I definitely will use them in the near future.

Matt is great! I knew right away that my male cat, Moo, liked him and that Matt had a way with pets. I really liked receiving pictures/​video updates. Living in a secure building can make directions a little complicated, but Matt has always been very flexible in coordinating key exchanges and following directions to a T! I highly recommend Creature Comforts Pet Sitting :)

I had a great experience with Matt, but more importantly so did my cat.
I went out of town for five days and had Matt come by two times each day for 30 minutes. I most appreciated the fact that Matt sent me continually updates via text and e-​mail while I was away, including pictures of my cat, which was very reassuring. While my cat was obviously happy to see me when I got home, it was clear he had been well cared for.
I will definitely use Matt again when I go out of town.

My boyfriend and I were always too afraid to be away for too long from our Lulu. Once I met Katelyn I knew that she was in good hands! Katelyn texted me with daily updates on how things were going and any concerns she had. She was attentive to how hot the weather got and ran our AC just so Lu would stay cool. It all made for a much more relaxing trip, knowing that our kitty was well taken care of and probably never missed us.

I just relocated to Seattle from LA for work. After being in town for exactly one week, my job sent me on a business trip out of town and I needed someone to watch my bird. After looking at different options (boarding at a facility, etc) I decided to give Creature Comforts a try. Matt was very prompt, polite and professional when initially communicating with me and made me feel very comfortable inviting him into my home. His price is very reasonable, and once I was out of town, he was great about texting me photos and updates just to let me know everything was OK. I would not hesitate to use him again in the future.

After several disappointing experiences with pet sitters and then having a fabulous pet sitter move away, I found Matt to take care of our two kitties, who are definitely our four-​legged children. We have now used him for several 2 – 5 day trips and a 10 day trip.
I work from home so they are used to human companionship all day most days. This causes an issue when my husband and I travel because they get lonely and sometimes anxious when the pet sitters don’t follow their «schedule.» Based on the times I feel them, I asked Matt to come within a 1.5 hour window in the morning for a ½ hour visit and a 1.5 hour window in the evening for a ½ hour visit. He is there on time without fail (and the one time he was slightly out of the window he let me know and it is no big deal!). He stays for the entire half hour, not skipping out early. I know both of these things because I have security cameras at the house that I can watch remotely and notify me via email when someone comes and leaves.
He sends photos via text and/​or email sporadically while we’re gone, which is super appreciated and I always love seeing (since I truly don’t just sit and watch the security cameras all day while I’m gone!).
The house is always picked up when I come home, the litter boxes are clean, and the kitties have not chewed on their «favorite» furniture corners, which is what they do when they get really anxious. He is diligent, pays attention to my kitties when he’s visiting, and is dependable.
I definitely recommend Matt and already have him scheduled for another trip this summer.

Matt looked after my cat for a few weeks while my husband and I were away. Matt kept in touch with emails, sent me a few photos and a video. It was very thoughtful. I highly recommend Creature Comforts for anyone who is looking for a pet sitter. The service was very affordable, Matt is very prompt in replying to emails and made me feel quite at ease that my cat was in good hands.

My husband and I are new to the Seattle area and travel often for work. It has been such a comfort knowing that our kitties are in such good hands with Matthew at Creature Comforts. We loved that prior to our first trip Matthew came to our home to meet our kitties. They took to him instantly! It was also an added bonus that Matthew is able and willing to administer medication as one of our kitties has a few special needs. He’s always so great about either posting a little video or sending us pictures while we are gone so we can see just how well our fur balls are doing. We can’t recommend Creature Comforts enough!

My husband and I recently moved to Ballard with our 4 charming kitties, putting us out of the general area of our absolute favorite Little Wet Noses.
We researched a bit until we found Matt, who took care of for nearly three weeks while my husband and I were traveling. We were so pleased, and give him our highest recommendation!
The kitties came out to meet him first during our initial consultation, warming up to him really quickly — even our shy boy came out to meet him!
While we were away, periodically Matt sent us photos or video of the cats, which we really appreciated, and which showed he had honored my special requests to play laser light with our eldest who adores the laser, and to turn on the faucet for our middle boy who prefers to drink fresh tap water :-)
Matt also did our trash on trash day, retrieved our mail and packages, and all in all made the house look attended. He also came an extra day when we ended up getting delayed on returning home till very late.
We were so happy to find Matt. We highly recommend Creature Comforts Pet Sitting!

I contacted Matt about him taking care of my cat Judith when I needed to go out of town for a weeklong work trip. She is a rescue and doesn’t usually like new people but she took to him without issue. He was able to stop by twice a day to make sure she didn’t get lonely. When I came home, everything was in great shape and Judith was happy as ever. I would highly recommend him if you need a pet sitter!

I have never left my cats with anyone that wasn’t friends or family but a recent trip left me with no other options.
Creature Comforts was recommended to me by another per sitting service that couldn’t accommodate our time frame but said Mathew had watched her pets and was reliable and trustworthy. My husband and I met Mathew at our house a few days later and he was prompt, friendly and genuine.
During our trip we received texts and updates so we didn’t have to wonder. He even went out of his way to snap a picture of our highly anti-​social scaredy-​cat for us.
Should we require a professional again he is the one we will call!

I recently moved to Seattle and had to go on an extended business trip. I needed to find someone that I could trust in my home, and more importantly with my special fur baby (cat.) I had made phone calls to vets that board and a number of pet sitters and didn’t feel comfortable with any of them. Then I found Creature Comforts of Seattle! The owner Matthew got back to me right away and was very professional and friendly as we set up a time to meet and discuss him watching my cat. She is not overly fond of new people, but liked Matthew right away! I felt completely at ease knowing that he would be checking in on her daily while I was gone. I appreciated frequent updates while I was away, including photos! It gave me so much piece of mind while I was away.
I would recommend Creature Comforts of Seattle to anyone I know and will definitely be utilizing this company for any of my future pet sitting needs.

I was sad to hear that Matthew moved to Seattle but happy that Seattle will have a top notch pet sitting service. Prior to taking care of my cat in my absence, Matthew came to my home to meet with us He answered all of my questions, was reassuring and listened to all of my concerns. While I was away he gave me updates on my baby which where truly appreciated and tried to take photos for me (my baby is very skittish around new people so the photos were a no-​go but the effort was great).
