Worst treatment I’ve ever had in a retail environment, took 30+ items in to sell. Called up the day before I went down, asked if they were buying Levi’s and designer jeans winter coats i.e. Abercrombie Hollister, billabong was told yes over the
on Sunday made my way down went in was greeted by a young girl who was busy in the buying area, and let me tell you she sure made you know she was busy her customer service was terrible!!! I signed in and was told it was a 40 minute wait to be seen, so I left my items and returned in the 40 minutes, so a different girl was dealing with me now, she told me it would take about 1 hour to go through my items and I was free to come back in an hour and she would have a price for my items. So returned in an hour, she started this fast paced talk about percentage blah blah and then spat out a figure of $ 15 and change for in store credit and $ 10 and change for cash!!! Take in mind I had over $ 1000 retail in items 30+ items over 15 pairs of jeans 3 heavy winter coats Abercrombie, Hollister, and 2 European suits and many t-​shirts and I was offered $ 10 in cash!!! I was blown away!!! I said your joking for all them items she said only 2 were suitable!!! I was outer all them excellent quality items!!! Anyway I took my stuff to the car and went back for the last of my items i.e. Suits!!! I said by the way what two items was it they wanted!!! And did they put them back in my bag!!! They said no there out the back !!! Unbelievable they took my 2 items and never even told me they had them and when I confronted them they said they had told me they had my items!!! Lies!!! Asked to speak to manager guess what the 2 people I had been dealing with were manager !!! That shop is s joke!!!’ So that’s all a area manager can say!!! Sorry!!! You should reimburse me my $ 7 for parking, my time and my inconvenience for been told you are buying all types of Levi’s over the phone and I had every color so no excuse!!! My items were in season at this time!!! Your buyers don’t know fashion or what’s selling!!! Your shop is ripping people off buying for $ 5 an item and selling for $ 20 to $ 35+ so please!!! glad I had my experience with your real bad employees!!! It just makes me happy when I encounter good customer service.

Well organized thrift store with trendy clothes and good customer service. The only downfall is you’ll pay more for clothing here than you will at other thrift stores like goodwill.

I would leave zero starts if I could. I’ve sold them $ 1200 worth of clothes for $ 50.75. I rest my case. How did they come up with that 75 cents is beyond my comprehension. I guess I’m not dumb enough to get it.

You never know, you may find a hidden gem here! Stopped by to see if there was anything interesting to buy but unfortunately I couldnt find anything I wanted. This store is pretty tidy, proper signage for sizes, and no piles of clothes on the floor as like some other shops.
You may find designer items, you may find things if you are looking to dress/​costume up for a certain event, or just needing to find a shirt to wear until you get home because you got your shirt dirty.
I asked about the buying process if you decide to sell your clothes, just go up to the front counter off to the right as you enter and speak to the buyer there, they will give you a number and call you when they are ready to go through your items. There is a sign on the board that lets you know what they are looking for. Most likely they will not give you top dollar for any item no matter how nice it is. You may have better luck selling it on Ebay or something. Ill probably sell stuff just to get a few bucks vs just donating it away but at the same time not expecting much.
Overall, its one of the nicer thrift/​consignment shops around town. Im sure Ill be back to take a peek once in a while.

Staff was very friendly! Found super cute dress for only $ 12.50 and a nice, large all-​star brand red backpack for $ 18.50 which I found was a decent price for a new looking quality backpack. A lot of the items were on the pricey side but they carried a lot of nice quality and it is to be expected at a higher end thrift shop. Similar to buffalo exchange but with a more and better products. Carried many very nice brands. Would visit again!

Spent an hour and a half checking each item. It’s difficult to navigate the store and find where my size is. A lot of items were in ill shape, and some clothes were visibly dirty. All I found was a top for $ 12, and after coming home discovered a hole in it. Disheartening.
However, I do appreciate that they have more classic clothes styles. I am so tired of the «ironically» ugly clothes style prevalent in the «cool» parts of town.

On the one hand, it’s a great place to shop for fashion at a fraction of he cost. You can find brands like Diesel, Zara, Club Monaco, Armani, H&M, Nike, and Gap, to name a few.
On the other hand, it’s always a hit or miss, because the stock depends on trades. You could come in the morning and leave with nothing, and return that same night wondering how you’re going to fit so many new favorites in your already overpacked closet :)
Trading is a great way to ensure your gently worn favorites don’t go to waste. You can get cash or store credit. My vote is to always go for store credit, unless you are strapped for cash, because or you absolutely don’t wanna ever come back to this franchise.
Pro tip: come early in he morning, or an hour before closing, if you’re trading, to avoid long waits.

I’ve been shopping at this Crossroads for over two years so I feel I can make a pretty accurate review of all of my time shopping there. I would definitely spend more money there but unfortunately the cons outweigh the pros.
First off, as many reviewers have previously stated, every single time I go into Crossroads the staff is downright rude or unhelpful. I have never once been asked if I needed help finding anything. I have stood outside the dressing rooms multiple times for over 10 minutes waiting for someone to be working in that area to let me into the dressing rooms. Same thing with the register, I have stood in line with other people waiting for someone to come and ring us up. I would say about 90% of the time that I have sold clothes there I have been under quoted for the wait time. I’ve been told that it’s going to take 20 minutes and waited over an hour. I feel like if you work there and you’ve been working there for a while you should probably know how to accurately quote how long it’s going to take. The girls here never smile and they talk in condescending tones. I have never seen them move with haste at the buying counter ever even when there is like 15 people waiting they never go fast they spend their time talking to each other and not focusing on the customers. Needless to say customer service has never been a priority in the store and I’ve been going in multiple times for years. Moving onto the way the clothing is organized, none of the shoes are organized by size and neither is the clothing which can make it very frustrating. Plato’s Closet does a much better job organizing their clothing and shoes. Which in turn makes it easier to shop and spend more money. Lastly, the reason for the two stars is that most of the time (if I have enough time) I’ve been able to scour the racks and find some pretty good deals on clothing.

Out of respect to Macklemore, I couldn’t leave Seattle without thrifting.
This is the best Crossroads I’ve ever been to. The store was located on a busy street, but I was staying at an airbnb a few blocks away, so I didn’t have to worry about parking. There is a bus stop across the street, so it’s conveniently located for people that take public transportation.
So many great finds. Living in the bay area, I’m a big fan of The North Face, but we all know the NF is expensive. They had so many North Face fleece and jackets, I seriously wanted to cry. Everything was in wonderful condition, so I left the store with a few more fleece than I planned for. The items I purchased were not that cheap, but I definitely paid a lot less than I would have elsewhere.
The store itself is clean and very well organized. I came in on a Saturday night, obviously not a lot of people go thrifting on Saturday nights, but it wasn’t busy at all.

I’ve been to this Crossroads location several times but will most likely not be going back after my most recent experience. One thing I do like about the store is that the clothing on each rack is grouped by color which I think is really convenient for when I go in with a specific item in mind.
The big negative here, which other reviewers here have apparently dealt with as well, is customer service. The first glimpse of issues was when I would go to try things on. They had always had someone at the table to count up your items, give a number tag, and get you a room. On two different occasions there was a giant stack of clothes piled on the table and employees looked like they were avoiding that area of the store entirely. I didn’t feel like dealing with it, put the items back, and left.
Recently, I went back because I needed some nice button-​up shirts. The table near the dressing rooms was cleared off and a girl was working at it. So, good sign there, right? When I went up to the table with the items I wanted to try on, it took a minute to get the attention of the girl working there. Whatever, we’ve all spaced out at work before. She counts up my stuff and gets me a room. I try my stuff on and come back out with the clothing I want to buy in one hand and the stuff I don’t want in the other. The girl has her back to the opening of the rooms and is chatting with a friend of hers. Again, I can’t get her attention, so I go to just put my rejects on the rack near her table. Apparently she regained her senses in that moment because she sighed angrily, snatched the clothes out of my hand, and put them on a different rack. She did apologize, not to me though. She waved me away with her hand while saying, «sorry ’bout that» to her friend before continuing her conversation. I just want to buy my stuff and get out at this point. I go to the front counter and… no one is there. I wait for a couple minutes. No one. There were 3 – 4 girls working at the buying counter. One was just standing near the others not doing anything. Although maybe she was in training? I don’t know. I go over and ask the girl not busy with customers if I should check-​out over here since no one is working at the front counter. She was staring off into space until I ask again then she seemed to snap out of it and said, «Oh. No, you check-​out over there.» I tell her no one is over there and I had been waiting near the counter to check out. «Oh, someone will be over there eventually!» Eventually someone did show up. Once there were about 4 of us waiting to check-​out. I love secondhand shops and have found some clothes I really like at Crossroads. But the rare cool find is not worth dealing with such awful customer service.

Meh.
I scored a pair perfectly fitting cords, Delias brand, with the tags still on. The Crossroads price tag said $ 15, but it also had a 50% red tag so I ended up paying $ 8.
But I won’t be going back. The staff at Crossroads was not helpful at all, to the point of being a little rude. There is only street parking and it’s a total bear to find a spot.
If thrift is your deal, I suggest Plato’s. At both the Bellevue and Tukwila locations there is easy parking, and the staff is super nice and will help you set aside the clothes you want to try on so that you don’t have to lug them all over the store. Best of all, their jean selection is massive, with much more to choose from than Crossroads, and the prices are about the same.

The staff is consistently rude. I used frequent this place, simply because I lived on Capitol Hill and would occasionally find a dress or good pair of shoes at this location — and the positive feedback stops there. After one particularly bad visit recently, I vowed to myself that I would never return.
Employees make it seem like answering your questions is torture, one particularly sassy staff member said «the clothes you’re selling are all out of style,“and I’ve seen people wait forever to sell their items. It seems like being uppity and rude are requisites for employees at this location. I can only hope that the management makes a concerted effort to turn this place around and mold it to be as beloved as other Crossroads.

Crossroads is definitely the place to go when I am feeling thrifty, which is most of the time. To say that I love a good deal is an understatement!
Recently crossroads has done a much better job of keeping their clothes organized and I find that it’s really easy to find items. They have separate racks for new and used clothes and most clothing items are organized by type and each type is organized by color.
Recently I’ve found some AMAZING shoes at amazing prices. Frye boots for $ 60? Jeffrey Campbell’s for $ 45? But my personal favorite (that I snagged really quick) a pair of Steve Madden black and white lace up oxfords for $ 20!
Often a lot of the really nice used clothing is behind the front counter or hanging on the wall. In the past I’ve had really poor customer service when asking for help getting these items (especially if I decided that it wasn’t the right fit or I just didn’t want the item) but recently I’ve had the best customer service from Tony! He’s a gem and really patient, I hope that crossroads can keep him around because he definitely has a real spark to him.
Looking to sell some clothes for cash or trade? Crossroads buys new and gently used seasonally appropriate items (so if it’s snowing don’t try and sell your tanks).

I wouldn’t say this is my favorite Crossroads. Super cool it was close to my Airbnb, but it just didn’t have items that popped out to me for the price. I had way better luck down the road at the local Goodwill. However… I did find a cute clearance top and purchased it. So the place is not all bad. Worth going to, because hey you may find that hidden gem waiting for you?

I always find great items from Crossroads. I stopped at this location (twice) while on vacation in Seattle and found a bunch of great stuff. I always leave extra room in my luggage when traveling ;)
There’s a lot of good finds for tops, sweaters/​coats, scarves and bags; I wasn’t too impressed with the dress selection but that’s just my tastes. There was a few items that I found weren’t exactly up to par like a plaid blouse with about half the buttons missing and an skirt with hem almost completely ripped off. These are easy fixes but still, curious why they were even considered and why they were priced as they were. Showing these issues to the person at register she was able to cut the price, so I got them (I have no self control). I also wish they had the shoes in some type of size order, I didn’t even bother looking through them. The Crossroads in Brooklyn does a decent job a sorting by sizing so it can be done!

If you must go here, take an allergy pill first if you are allergic to dogs — not because there are dogs in the store, but because the clothing is covered in dog.
Unsurprisingly, many Seattleites want to sell their unwashed dog-​dander-​clothes to Crossroads. The store probably can’t be expected to detect whether an item of clothing is truly clean or not, but I’ve never had this problem at Buffalo Exchange or any other thrift store. So that’s really weird.
To me, it’s a red flag, as it means that Crossroads is the least discerning (and largest in size) store that will buy just about anything.
Forever 21 blouse with a flea dip? Check.
BCBG dress with a big hole in it? Check.
Musty Mossimo pilled-​fleece jacket with a white dried dog saliva stain? Check.
Boots with presumably dog poo on the bottom? Check.
Not recommended. Check out Revival Shop in Capitol Hill instead.

This is my absolute favorite thrift store i have ever been to, and to be honest the only thrift store I’ve actually bought anything at.
The employees are always super friendly and helpful!
Although I have never sold here, I have sold at similar stores and it just depends on what they are looking for, from what I’ve read in the other reviews people seemed mostly irritated when their things weren’t bought, but honestly I’ve never had a bad experience the multiple times I’ve been here shopping.
Great dress selection, every size!
I also like how they color categorize everything because if your like me and only buy black clothes this totally helps.
Also if your into the designer stuff they have it all on display by the cash wrap, this is where I found an awesome pair of pink doc martens in perfect condition!

I have a love-​hate relationship for Crossroads Trading Co. because they choose the most random things to buy from people. Raggedy toe print shoes missing a buckle? They’ll take it! Brand new Nine West shoes never worn? Sorry, they aren’t in season. Nevertheless, I still visit for the thrill of the hunt.
This was my first time visiting this location (I’m from California), and I ended up leaving with a cute clutch purse.
The store was well stocked and organized on my visit, and the staff was just like any and every other staff member I’ve encountered at Crossroads stores I’ve visited: snotty and dismissive.
I will never understand the snooty behavior of people that work at second hand stores. Get over yourselves!
I hate to post this (prices could increase), but on this visit I found Forever 21 stuff priced at $ 20, but vintage YSL, Dior, and St. John priced at $ 10 or less. LOL
Ah, well. Crossroads, I wish I knew how to quit you.

Wow — Things Are NOT Always Better In Seattle
SITREP
This is a hard store for me to rate because:
(1) Stock is Always Changing; and,
(2) This Store caters more to Women
So I’ll go with what I know.
THE SETUP
The Crossroads in Sacramento, believe it or not, is much better, cleaner, and more well kept with ample supply of clothing stock for men. SOOOO much more for men. [Sacramento, be grateful — you are indeed spoiled.]
I had to admit that I was QUITE shocked upon walking in this store and did not see much of either: (1) Space Allocation; nor, (2) Selection for the male clients.
It is what it is, and take this review in the context of a male looking for male-​clothing.
LOCATION
Fantastic location — you can’t beat Capitol Hill — 1 Star
PRICE
IF you find a male item, it will be at a reasonable discount — 1 Star
SIZES
Not much for an XL or XXL male.
THE LOWDOWN
Again, it is what it is. It may take several trips — and I would probably make them. But if you are male looking for discounted clothes, best hit the Salvation Army or another Thrift Store since the offerings here for an XL /​XXL male are quite paltry.
