History

Established in 2005.

Dr. Lowinger graduated from the Swedish Medical Center Podiatric Surgical Residency Program in June of 2005. He started in private practice with a group in Burien, WA and soon started his own practice in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle in 2008 called Performance Foot and Ankle Specialists. After expanding to include Dr. Sarah Burns, the practice merged with The Polyclinic in 2015.

Dr. Lowinger is board certified in Foot Surgery and Hind foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery

Education

Dr. Lowinger completed his surgical training at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, where he focused on reconstructive surgery and trauma. He had the opportunity to work with world-​renowned foot and ankle surgeons in Seattle, San Francisco and Dresden, Germany. Dr. Lowinger attended Western Washington University in Bellingham.

Special Interests

Dr. Lowinger treats foot and ankle disorders of all kinds. He has a special interest in surgical and non-​surgical treatment of foot and ankle deformity and sports injuries.
