Dockside Cannabis is a Washington State Licensed (I-502) retail store that provides cannabis products and associated accessories to residents and visitors of Washington State who are 21 years of age or older. Dockside Cannabis offers customers a reliable selection of high-quality products in a comfortable, professional setting, where our commitment to sustainable operations is demonstrated by exemplary business practices that protect people and the environment.

History

Established in 2015.

Dockside Cannabis’ first store is located at 15 029 Aurora Ave N in Shoreline. They feature a wide array of cannabis products as well as local glass and other paraphernalia.

Dockside Cannabis is owned by the same founders of Dockside Co-op, located in Fremont, founded in 2011. Dockside Co-op was the one of the first dispensaries in the nation to receive the Patients First Certification from Americans for Safe Access (ASA) and winner of Seattle Weekly’s reader voted Best of Seattle the past three years. Now that I-502 has been implemented, Dockside is opening up to the fun, recreational aspect of marijuana and is opening a recreational store as well in Shoreline.

First time in a dispensary– enjoyed the experience! No waiting we were helped immediately by an interested educational salesman. Listened to what we were looking for and had some recommendations– excited to give them a try!
it was more like a nice retail store than anything else– not what I expected (didn’t feel like we were treated like cattle or like we were a threat) just real friendly folks!

The store was really clean and inviting, which was super nice compared to other places I’ve been. Their menu was huge and seemed overwhelming, but the girl at the counter helped me pick out a couple things I wound up really liking.
If you’re new to legal weed I would definitely check this place out. Overall awesome experience.

This dispensary is one of the most unique pot shops you’ll find in Seattle. Some places I tried in town seem to herd people through line queues like livestock and focus on volume and sales more than culture and experience, Dockside is almost the polar opposite.
The store is welcoming, open, and filled with information about and history of cannabis with their cannabis 101 wall and museum set up.
The staff are eager and for the most part seem to know their stuff. The guy that helped me was more than willing to talk me through every question I had. He catered his suggestions to my preferences and experiences by asking a couple quick questions about what I like, which I found incredibly helpful, especially when I was shown their huge menu.
All in all, if you’re looking for an awesome overall experience go to Dockside. These guys are setting a standard that is SHATTERing stereotypes and raising the bar.

Awesome place. Learning about the legality of cannabis in Washington State I decided to stop into this store after arriving into Seattle airport.
If you should be traveling to Seattle you should make this place your first stop too!
I didn’t know what to expect in a cannabis store but what I found was one of the richest and pleasant retail experiences of my life. The store surprised me with an homage to the history of cannabis use in the United States and with a staff which was exceptionally pleasant and professional.
I had the pleasure to discuss the business with one of the owners. Wonderful man. The team at Dockside Cannabis is a company you need to know and be a fan of. They are breaking barriers and changing public perception of the cannabis users and professionals.

Hands-down the best recreational cannabis retail spot I have visited so far, not surprisingly, from reigning industry veterans at Dockside. The space is inviting, professional and polished; beautiful design, good lighting. It feels like a space that was created for a good retail customer experience, as opposed to many around that feel thrown together, cramped, claustrophobia-inducing… The staff is also another primary standout feature– friendly, coherent, engaged, and vastly informative, but not pushy, like several other spots around town where sales people are clearly on commission. (And taking tips!) I actually learned so much from the Dockside staff in just a few minutes, it was as if they actually were into the education, and not just purely interested in getting my money and out the door as soon as possible. It was a really different experience. There is also ample parking, and it is highly accessible by public transportation. And the coolest part is that they have a museum with items from pre-cannabis prohibition in the early 1900s — Overall, very professional, polished, customer-centric offering. We were thoroughly impressed by how much it stands out from the others we have visited. A +++
