Designer Dorian Muncey is a PNW native whose inspiring interior design work has been featured across the country in New York, Pennsylvania, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Aspen, Sun Valley and Hawaii. While many designers develop a particular signature style in the hopes of attracting clients, he prefers a collaborative approach, in which each client’s individual personality, taste, and functional requirements are used to create unique living environments.

Muncey received his undergraduate in Interior Design from the Cornish College of the Arts. In addition to his interior design degree, Dorian minored in Performance Design and taught residential design at the college.

Dorian Muncey is a Pacific Northwest native whose inspiring interior design work has been featured across the country in New York, Pennsylvania, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Aspen, Sun Valley and Hawaii. Muncey began his interior design career with renown Northwest interior designer Marjorie Siegel. Dorian spent seven wonderful years as her apprentice and although she has passed away, continues to influence Dorian’s work life.

He received his undergraduate degree in Interior Design from the Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. In addition to his interior design degree, Dorian minored in Performance Design and taught residential design at the college.

Dorian Muncey’s interior design talent has been the focus of several articles featured in the Northwest Living section of the Seattle Times.

He has been the project lead for negotiations or as the team lead for the interior design component of larger projects.

He has worked with and provided direct service to clients; resolved client questions and concerns, and has, kept clients informed of project status.

He has developed project plans, communicated, and coordinated design issues with other disciplines, and complete projects within established budgets and schedules.

Additionally, he reviews and assists in the work of outside designers and architects on large projects, particularly with regard to University standards and purchasing requirements.

He meets with vendors to update interiors libraries and learn of new products.
