History

Established in 1976.

Duke’s has been serving Seattle a fun, warm atmosphere and great seafood, burgers and 100% all natural, local, all wild caught food since 1976 when we first opened on Lower Queen Anne Hill. Those were the days: The Seattle Super Sonics — the 1979 World Championship — Downtown Freddy Brown, Gus Williams, Jack Sikma. and who remembers Lonnie Shelton. The Seahawks were just starting out, as were the Mariners. We had a lot of fun, and continue to do so in our six locations throughout Seattle and the Puget Sound Region — Southcenter, Tacoma and Kent, WA.

Duke has been serving Seattle all natural, 100% wild caught Seafood for over 40 years. Getting his initial chops at Ray’s Boathouse in the early and mid-70’s, Duke started the first Duke’s Restaurant and Bar in lower part of Queen Anne in 1976, a golden age in Seattle with the beginning of the Seattle Mariners, The Seattle Seahawks and the 1979 World Championship Seattle Super Sonics. Yeah, we had a good time! And still do.
