It was pretty good and ingredients seem fresh. I had a chorizo breakfast burrito and horchata. I had some time to waste before a Mariners game and ate there. The dining area could of been cleaner and fixed up better. I don’t know if they are going for the rundown look.

I haven’t visit Taco Trucks in a while and a barista recommended me to check this place out! First impression was, damn, nice taco truck but there was construction right behind it(which sucked for El Camion’s business). I got the Carne Asada, Fish Tacos, and Shrimp Tacos. First of all, these tacos are worth the price! They range to around $ 2.50-$ 3ish which is such a steal. The Carne Asada was cooked and made to perfection. I was expecting a lot of the fish tacos but it was really bland for me and dry. Luckily there was sauces(Mild/Hot) and guacamole(ALLFREE) to make it a little better. The same goes for the shrimp, it wasn’t as flavorful as I thought it would be. I found a hair in my food half way through the Fish Tacos so I didn’t get to finish it all the way through. I’m totally willing to give this place a second chance because the menu is interesting and prices are great. Overall it was an ok experience.

We walk over here all the time since I live close by. The people who work there are really nice, but the food seems to have gotten a lot worse over the past six months. My quesadilla today was literally inedible because of the amount of grease on it.

Simply amazing! I have eaten here many times and will continue to be a repeat customer. I have yet to find a bad thing on the menu.

My husband and I went to the Seattle Home Show at Century Link Field and this Mexican food truck was recommended by one of the staff. This establishment had the most customers, which seemed promising, however, we eat at Mexican food trucks often and this place did not satisfy. We ordered: 1.) One — chorizo con huvos 2.) Three — sopez 3.) One — torta The chorizo con huvos were too runny /watery and did not have very many eggs. The sopez were pretty good, but a little over liquidy too. And the torta was very bland, was advertised to come with jalapeño and it came with one whole grilled jalapeño, on the side… The toppings table did not contain limes, which is a Mexican food place staple, had stale radishes, and no regular salsa verde. While the seating area was very dirty from the tables, seats, and ground. Also there were birds flying around inside. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Wasn’t awful, but there are so many other great authentic Mexican food places.

By far the best authentic Mexican cuisine in Seattle. I LOVE El Camion. This food truck doesn’t strictly follow the business hours listed online, like today Unilocal says they are closed but due to two events at Clink and Safeco they are most definitely open for business. During baseball and football season you’ll find them open very regularly but in off season it’s a little hit and miss. Luckily, they do also have other locations including a brick and mortar. I have not yet visited their other locations but I’m a regular at this one. If you catch them when they’re open you are in for a serious treat. All their food is incredible. It is fresh, consistent, and definitely made with a lot of love. The tacos are a cult favorite and their burritos are beyond amazing, but my personal go to is actually their tamales. They are homemade every day and are so delicious — you can’t find tamales this good anywhere else in the city. The only other food items I can’t go without mentioning are the rice and beans. You cannot imagine the flavor they pack into these otherwise simple side dishes. It’s also notable to add that their prices are ridiculously reasonable. This food is just so darn good and you’ll feel great after eating it which is a testament to the freshness and quality of their ingredients. Try them out you will not regret it!

Went to the truck in SLU. My order was ready in about 15 minutes but my coworker had to wait 40 minutes for tacos. Obviously they lost the order. It happens. They do have a covered area to wait with tables so you don’t have to stand in the rain and you can look at your phone! So delicious though. I will definitely give it another try. Breakfast burrito next time.

This is a great spot to hit up before a Mariners or Seahawks game. I’ve ordered the sopas and fish tacos. The sopas were pretty good, but they would have been even better if there was more avocados and cheese. I primarily like fish tacos when the fish is deep fried, so I wasn’t as big of a fan of the tacos as the sopas. All in all though, the food is good and better than anything that you could find in the stadiums!

Best tacos at the best price. I eat El Camion multiple times a week and never get tired of it. The meat can be hit or miss sometimes– sometimes it’s a bit dry and flavorless but most of the time its amazing. This isn’t a 5 star review because the truck by Century Link is open very inconsistent hours. I live down the street and have inquired when they close and instead of saying it varies, I was told they close at a certain time. But they’re always closed early which is just a bummer because I always want tacos.

They’re closed? I’ve been back a couple time this last week and the truck is buttoned up! News anyone?

I’ve had their tacos and burritos only and I love their burritos. Finding a place to park isn’t that great during lunch hours since it’s a food truck along the outside of the stadiums. The tacos weren’t bad(looked great), but the meats were lacking in flavor. The burritos on the other hand have great flavor. Nice place to check out if you like burritos!

After living in San Francisco for 20 years I have high expectations for a burrito. Seattle Mexican has been deeply disappointing. This is the real deal. yum! I recommend adding the grilled veggies.

I’m glad I finally stopped by to check this place out — twice this week! I was in need of a breakfast burrito this past Tuesday and Unilocal was there to point me in the right direction! Of their breakfast burrito selections, I went with the huevos con chorizo which was quite tasty! It was massive in size, too(that’s what she said — ha!)! That sucker kept me full well into dinner! My second visit happened was yesterday and this it was the adobada burrito. As you already know that I’m all about the pork and this was so flavorful that I am considering going there again TODAY to try something different! Like any popular lunch spots, expect long lines, but your wait won’t be that long. They also happen to have indoor seating in the building behind their truck. No restrooms, though, so you may have to do the green apple quickstep back to the office if you are not in tune with your body! I’m definitely glad that this is another close walk from the office! _____ | SWEET! Best Mexican food that I’ve head in Seattle. I go to the El Camion truck in SLU near my office at least twice a week for lunch. Everything I’ve had off the menu so far is amazing. If you’re looking for a lot of food at a good price, get the burrito… it’s like the size of a football and I can’t even finish it sometimes. They put plenty of meat in the burritos so I have some with every bite and the avocado salsa awesome. The fish tacos are amazing too.

The lines are long during the lunch hours at El Camion’s food truck, but once you get your food it’s worth the wait. I’ve only ordered the chicken burritos here and I have no plans on trying anything else because the burritos are pretty dang good. Almost too flavorful(salty), but just what I need when I’m craving Mexican carbs. OH! And glass-bottled Coca-Cola?! Win!

Wicked-good Mexican food from a truck! Get to the games early and stop by this truck for a spicy adventure. They make their own unique salsas, too! There’s a small, indoor seating area behind the truck. Nothing fancy at all, but the food is goooood! Heads up that the lines here are often long and food turnaround sometimes gets delayed, so give yourself a solid 20 – 30 minutes to enjoy every delicious bite!

Holy bomb, finally gave this place a try for lunch and was not disappointed. We were in a rush, so called ahead our order and they had it ready in 10 minutes when we arrived. The carnitas burrito was super tender and super flavorful. Bigger than chipotle, and completely on its own level. Only reason this isn’t five stars is because the way they have their salsas set up outback is super sketch, they’re all exposed to flies and anything else back there. Also, my stomach was no bueno later that night. Hopefully only a one time thing.

The carnitas were good… the tripas were not. I had the gorditas… they were good but not what other pictures show… I saw no cheese delivered in a flurry of goodness… SMH! Reading other reviews saying that this place is the best makes me wonder if the reviewer suffered a head injury that rendered their tastebuds inoperable or perhaps they have a condition that is like a colorblindness of the tongue. If you’ve had Mexican food in the Southwest U.S. you will agree that there is a difference. And what is this infatuation with Black Beans?

El Camion represents the street taco scene in Seattle. You show me better taco truck and I’ll call you a liar. I always get a carne Asada burrito and it never fails me. Holy hell It’s the size of a brick with plenty of meat inside so you never wonder if your getting short changed. It’s large enough for you to share one should you option to share. Also for grab a bag of chips & salsa, the fresh pico is killer.

High frickin five to this taco cart because they are kickin some foodie ass and taking names. +1 for the fact they have seats inside the building behind them My faves: Fish tacos… seriously, at only a couple bucks a piece, they are fresh and worth every cheap penny. Carne Asada plate… yeah. $ 8 and it’s enough for 2 people. TONS of amazingly seasoned carne asada nicely chopped, black beans, rice, pico, avocado, and a ton of fresh corn tortillas. Delicious. Anything you order at this place you really can’t go wrong and it’s not only awesome food, but inexpensive to boot! IMHO the best part is the plethora of homemade salsas they have to choose from. Avocado sauce, verde, pico, jalapenos, super hot… there’s at least 8 to choose from? All I’ve tasted are so good! It’s worth the wait… yes, they will typically have a decent sized line during lunch hour.

I’m addicted to burritos. Like, seriously. I could probably eat a burrito everyday for the rest of my life.Alldayerrdaaay. Anyways, El Camion boasts a diverse menu with quite a few options for meaters and vegetarians. I always enjoy their fish tacos and burritos. They are packed soHUGE that you probably won’t be able to finish it. Their salsas are awesome. So authentic and fresh. Be careful though, the spiciest one is SO spicy it’ll make you sweat. I dunked my burrito this one and couldn’t finish it due to the heat level. If you’re into 10 stars, tongue numbing SPICY, this is for you. Working in SoDo allows me access to this place anytime, which I love! It’s pretty awesome they have a good sized indoor area with a foosball fun and picnic tables to enjoy your food. I’ve been here a few times now and can say that the food is consistent and delicious! One of the better food trucks around.

I’m still feeling the effects of my food comma from lunch and it’s already dinner time. The rest of my afternoon consisted of dozing off at work, driving home, and passing out for 2 hrs. What a glorious nap when you know it was a direct result of a meal well spent. The first time i tried coming here my excitement was cut short after getting stuck in traffic and being turned around because of a Mariners game. This time i walked, work was close than goodness. My friend’s question while ordering: «which one’s bigger, the burrito or plate?» Both were equally large. I had the plato mexicano and it was so legit! i couldn’t even finish all my food. this food truck is a two-person operation so the wait can be a little long when it starts getting crowded, but trust me it’s worth the wait. There’s seating around the back of the truck. Kinda nice cuz there was a foosball table to keep you entertained haha.
