The seasonal pumpkin spice biscotti is back! Mmm. Always nice walking into the giant atrium this place resides in. You can access it via the stairs/elevator from the 3rd Ave lobby or from the stairs off University St to the north.

Been coming here for years: Antonette and Joyce are such wonderful owners and baristas. Great people, great location — a lovely local business They’ve just added paninis that are simply out of this world — simple, good price, and excellent ingredients. That and an iced chai — perfect.

This is a great coffee place if you are in the neighborhood. The customer service is as personal and as attentive as you can get. And I think the atrium is a good location for meeting and talking — it’s very pleasant to sit at the big windows and see the trees outside. Better than most downtown locations.

The coffee is fine(though pricey, even by Seattle standards), and so is the service. But this space is no good for meetings. The big, airy atrium is lined with marble, which means every time Ellen starts up the grinder, or steams some milk, it sounds like you are having a meeting inside the espresso machine.
