History

Established in 1992.

Create artwear which makes a personal statement

Angela, designer and owner of Engayla’s Designs, is a native of Germany. «Engayla» is the German pronunciation of the name «Angela.»

Angela has lived in Seattle since 1990 and began a journey to find an amazing, endless well of creativity. She designs and produces handmade, contemporary jewelry, clothing, belts, and handbags. Her vision is to create a complete, unique look from everything that she creates.

«I believe that my work has been a profound force in my life. Part of my evolving into a unqiue individual derives from being an artist and a creative woman. I put positive thoughts into physical forms. I truly believe that wearable art has a protective quality and can engender strength, healing, and peace of mind to the wearer.»

Angela travels to Europe regularly and selects contemporary, natural European materials for her wearable art. She creates bold, daring designs for the contemporary wearer.
