Dr Ty and his team are amazing, by far the best dental team I’ve experienced. I am always greeted in a warm & friendly manner and we are never kept waiting. The service is always top notch and prompt. My children look forward to going even after having had fillings and extractions done.
I just had Dr Ty perform work to help improve my bite and make my teeth look better. The results were fantastic, he really is an artist. Even though I was there for an extended period, he and his team made me feel comfortable the entire time. I always recommend Etheridge Family Dentistry to anyone seeking dental care.

We are moving our 32 y.o. daughter, who has some special needs, to Seattle and picking a new dentist was not something done lightly. We can’t believe our luck at finding Etheridge Dentistry. Everyone in the office (which is gorgeous by the way and designed by Dr. Ty) made us feel welcome. They all introduced themselves, asked questions to get to know us and any concerns we had as well as talked about themselves so we felt we got to know them. My daughter said it was the best experience she ever had and that she learned more about her teeth than she ever had because of their creative education. I’m so relieved and thrilled for our daughter to get her care from this unique office.

If I had the option of giving Ty Etheridge and his staff six out of five stars, I would in a heartbeat. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Etheridge Family Dentistry.
I have been seeing Ty for a little over 5 years for regular cleanings and check ups. From day one, Ty has always struck me as a very caring, friendly, detail-​oriented, and thorough dentist. Two days ago I had an experience that showed me how incredible he really is.
It was late on a Friday night and I was training at an obstacle course gym. While training, I had an unfortunate incident that caused me to break my two front teeth. I immediately called Ty’s emergency number, and he was able to give me the advice I needed to put my mind at rest. He also adjusted his schedule to squeeze me in for an appointment the following day, even though the office was completely booked.
I walked into the office thinking I would be there for half the day considering the severity of the break (only half of my two front teeth were intact). To my surprise, I was in and out of the office in just under two hours, and my teeth looked as good as new– even better in certain ways! It was like it never even happened. Ty worked efficiently, diligently, and with such precision. He is a true dental artist, and I can’t thank him enough for how caring, helpful and kind he was when I was so scared and concerned about how my teeth would look long-​term. Ty and his team also took pictures of my broken teeth to provide to the insurance company and worked with my insurance company to ensure I payed as little as possible out of pocket. I ended up paying very little thanks to all they did.
As long as I live in the state of Washington, I will continue to see Ty for all my dental work. He is amazingly talented, experienced, educated, and he deeply cares for his patient’s well-​being. Thank you so SO much Ty!

Dr. Ty Etheridge and his staff were very prompt, professional, and friendly. I just transitioned from another dentist across town and they made the transition seamless and easy. I’ve since recommended him to several friends and will continue to do so.

I came to Dr. Ty after some disappointing experiences with other dentists and orthodontists. I’d had braces when I was younger that didn’t fully address cosmetic issues with my teeth. I also had an ugly bridge that I’d already replaced twice hoping for, but failing to get, better results. I picked Dr. Ty based on reading very good reviews and looking at the before and after photos on his website. Still, I was dubious.
The first thing I noticed about Dr. Ty is that he LOVES his job. Dr. Ty is doing the job he’s meant to do and his passion and drive for excellence is apparent. When I explained the complaints I had with my teeth and my concern that they could not be fixed based on my previous experiences, he walked me through my options. He also showed me before and after photos of someone with a bridge that looked just like mine and how he’d fixed it. He didn’t overpromise about the results I would get and was completely low pressure. I left feeling confident that, if anyone could fix my teeth, it was Dr. Ty. I was right!
I ended up getting Invisalign followed by a new bridge and veneers on the surrounding teeth. My teeth look beautiful! I’d expected a lot from Dr. Ty because it was clear that he’s very talented, but my results exceeded my expectations. Dr. Ty is a perfectionist and doesn’t settle for «good enough.» My only regret is that I didn’t find Dr. Ty much sooner. I can’t stop smiling!
My kids and husband also go to Etheridge Family Dentistry and have had similarly great experiences. Everyone in the office is so friendly, competent and professional. Before we started going to EFD, my kids saw a pediatric dentist. I wasn’t sure if Dr. Ty and his staff would be as good with kids since they aren’t specifically a pediatric practice, but I wanted to simplify by having the whole family go to one dentist. I’m so glad I did! They are FANTASTIC with kids. Everyone there seems to be a «kid person» and they have a great approach with kids, easing them in at a pace that’s comfortable to them.

Dr. Ty Etheridge and staff are always wonderful. I was referred to him by a friend a few months ago and I have already referred Dr Etheridge to friends and family. The staff and atmosphere makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. Like many people I have a slight phobia of having dental work. The visit to the Etheridge practice was relaxing, comfortable and actually fun. Believe it or not… I look forward to my return. Thank you Dr. Ty Etheridge and team!

Being new to Seattle and searching for a dentist I was referred to Dr. Ty Etheridge. I cannot say enough how happy I am as he is one of the best dentist I have ever gone to. He is knowledgeable, caring and honest. He is passionate about his practice and it shows in a big way. He goes beyond what a normal dentist would do to make sure you feel comfortable and have the best of care. I count my lucky stars Dr. Ty is now my permanent dentist here in Seattle.

Dr. Imahn was very professional, informative and personable. Got to watch Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure on Netflix while getting a filling which was great and made the experience fly by.

We had our first visit today. My son is 3 and had been going to a different dentist, let’s just say he was old school and I felt there had to be a better option. So I found Etheridge Family online and went for it. I couldn’t be happier w the office and staff. My little boy loved it there and they made him feel so comfortable. On his first visit they managed to do the entire cleaning while he sat calmly in the chair. Not a tear and no apprehension. Not the case at our last dentist. Thank you Ty and all of the caring staff!

Dr Ty and his crew are fabulous. We have been delighted with their care for years, but a special thanks for fixing my 6 year old son’s tooth today — he broke it on the slide at school. My son is a dental «challenge» and he had a beautiful replacement tooth within hours and claims Dr Ty is «cool.» Very grateful!

Let’s face it — no one likes going to the dentist. Dr. Etheridge and his team make the experience (almost) enjoyable with friendly greetings (they remember names), clean and modern atmosphere, tv with movies and netflix. Excellent care in a warm environment. Outstanding care for my kids too — they actually ask to go (since it is not an awful experience and they get a goody bag — genius!). Highly recommend.

I have been bringing my kids there. It is perfect for them. There is a little play area that I believe Dr Ty designed himself. Even when the place is busy, it never seems hectic, and the staff is thorough and knowledgeable. It’s just a comfortable place to have what most people consider very uncomfortable procedures. Dr. Ty and his staff understand that, which is why they maintain the same happy demeanor regardless of circumstances.
His work is top-​notch, and he notices things that others may not. For example, he noticed my daughter was grinding her teeth a little. He recommended I see ear/​nose/​throat doc to check the tonsils and breathing.
I am very picky when it comes to dentistry. To be sure, my grandfather was a dentist and practiced for 50 years. He put in the only filling I have 35 years ago. The bar has been set very high.

This past weekend, a 10 year old filling fell out of my mouth when flossing. I reached out to Dr. Ty and he got back to me on a Sunday and opened the office just to fill my tooth! I would have been delighted with any filling at that point, but to put icing on the cake, Dr. Ty gave me –hands down– the most gentle experience I’ve ever had with a filling. Dr. Ty is sharp, friendly and committed to providing great service. I’m lucky I found him and recommend him strongly to anyone in need of a dentist.

It’s been almost 3 years since I started going to Dr. Ty (through a coworker’s recommendation) and it’s about time I wrote up about my experience. Numerous reasons why I left my previous dentist but the tipping point was when I had an infected tooth (requiring a root canal) that was not detected through multiple visits until I finally pointed out the white bump above my teeth to my ex-​dentist. I remember visiting Dr. Ty the first time just to see if he would be able to notice it without me telling him and he was able to detect it right away. I got a root canal through his recommendation of a specialist and haven’t had any problems so far.
I started seeing Dr. Ty a few months after I had gotten my braces taken off (from a different orthodontist). My orthodontic treatment had encountered numerous complications along the way and part of my front tooth had been shaved down too small. Regardless, my teeth were so much better compared to how they had been before so I never bothered complaining. After seeing Dr. Ty, he made me realize that the job could’ve been done a lot better and he literally went out of his way to talk to my orthodontist and got me back into another plan to get it fixed without any additional fees. Dr. Ty would stay in touch with my orthodontist over the next few months as both of them collaborated to get my bite fixed and also getting a crown to fix my reduced front tooth. The crown job by him couldn’t have been more perfect. The end result — my teeth has never looked better and felt healthier.
To sum it up, Dr. Ty is the most passionate, detail-​oriented and honest dentist I have ever met who really cares about his patients. I don’t think I’ve had someone else truly care about my teeth more than myself. He is skilled at what he does and does it without any compromise. I also appreciate all the help he provides with planning any major jobs accordingly with my insurance coverage to ensure lower out-​of-​pocket expenses. This review wouldn’t be complete without mentioning his staff who are just as passionate and knowledgeable.

I’ve been going to and taking my family (3yr old & 5 yr old) to Dr. Ty for the past two + years. We couldn’t be more satisfied. I’m often shocked at the level of personalized attention that our family gets.
Last year, the night before Thanksgiving our 3 year old jumped off something and pushed his front tooth forward. Dr. Ty took my call at 8PM the night before a holiday and then asked us to bring him in at 8AM before he left with his family for vacation. To me, that was above and beyond and so very much appreciated.
Whether it is the attention that we receive in the chair or booking appointments or post appointment phone calls — Etheridge Family Dentistry exceeds all expectations. Their expertise in working with our children and the care with which they approach them is astounding. My kids actually ask when do they get to go to the dentist?
I can’t recommend this Dentist office enough.

I LOVE Etheridge Family Dentistry. Dr. Ty makes the experience so easy. I have never feared going to the dentist, but it’s never been my favorite thing to do, but now it’s actually fun! his staff is amazing, and so friendly. the fact that he’s open in the EVENINGS is fantastic.
the office is gorgeous and just a pleasure to be in. My whole family goes to Dr. Ty, and all my nephews (3, 5, 7) are not afraid of the dentist at ALL. they talk about «sugar bugs» (cavities) all the time, and trying to impress Dr. Ty with their clean teeth all the time!

Dr. Ty & his team will do all they can to accommodate your dental requests and goals. I have never known such a customer-​service oriented dentist! Share with him your concerns about your teeth, and he will do all he can to achieve happiness for you. The office is beautiful, state-​of-​the-​art, impecabbly clean and easy to find. Their staff is friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and appts always run on time.
Perhaps most impressive, my kids love going to the dentist, because Dr. Ty makes it fun, and not scary in the least. It also helps that he has kids’ movies for them to watch while their teeth are being cleaned! We even use Dr. Ty as a motivational tool for keeping our teeth clean (at home), because the kids don’t want to disappoint him!
I’m so glad we found Dr. Ty & his incredible team… we’ll be with him for life.

I’ve always had a slight and impractical fear of the dentist; I realized that this was mostly due to the way I was treated as a person. I don’t have a very good dental record and have needed several fillings and I always felt like I was being rushed through a cold, heartless system. Thankfully, Etheridge Family Dentistry is nothing like that!
I popped in here having no idea of what it would be like. I came out shocked at how well the staff treated me. Everyone I interacted with was helpful, warm and friendly. The nurse and Dr. Ty made me feel more comfortable than I’ve ever felt at the dentist office. Dr. Ty was very thorough and honest about my dental situation and made sure to go through all the images and scans of my mouth in order to help me understand exactly what is going on.
Part of what makes this a great place is the atmosphere; it’s kind of zen-​like. Soft lighting and a comfy dental chair make the experience easier. They even offer a great movie selection for you when having a longer cleaning or other work done. (Die Hard got me through my first cleaning).
I’ve been here for several follow ups and have received the same great treatment each time. I highly recommend this place. Just be sure to arrive a little earlier since it can be tough to find parking in the area.

Years after my initial experience I’m still going to Dr. Ty, I still think he’s an amazing dentist and if I ever moved away from Seattle would probably fly back to have him do any major detail procedures.
My original review seems to have been demoted on Unilocal so I’ll say this: outside of the dental office I am not friends with Dr. Ty or his family, nor have I been paid to write a good review. I also have no affiliation with Care Credit, I was just pleased to be able to use that service at EFD as it is not possible to use it everywhere.

Dr. Ty Etheridge is a «5 star chef» of dentistry.
I had an accident on a Sunday where my front tooth got knocked out. A friend of mine recommended him and called on my behalf to get an appointment, and he squeezed me in the next day! Not to mention, he returned her call from his personal phone, at the airport, on his way home from a trip.
Ty is very skilled and thorough, taking care to explain the procedure and the reasoning behind his recommendations. I can tell that he’s honest, making my well being the priority. During my first visit he matched the color and size of my tooth to create a temporary cap so I could leave the office that day with a tooth. He did such a good job, none of my friends can tell I have a fake tooth, and neither can I.
Ty and his staff are down to earth and personable. They make the extra effort to create an enjoyable, calm atmosphere. I was pretty nervous about the whole situation because I didn’t have health insurance at the time. Fortunately his office takes Care Credit which was a big help to me.
I’ve had great dentists but Ty goes above and beyond. I speak from my own experience and from the rave reviews of my friends who have gone to him for everything from regular cleaning to replacing entire teeth.
