History

Established in 1979.

On October 25,1979, Lee Lauckhart teamed up with Seby Nahmias to open the Read All About It newsstand. Seby was already selling papers from a stand on the corner of First and Pike. They were then joined by Steve Dunnington and the newsstand started to look like it does today, selling newspapers and magazines from across the country and all over the world. Now, Lee is still the owner and curator of this vital business in the heart of downtown Seattle and it is still the best place in the city to get publications from all over the world.
