We live 2.5 blocks from Folklife festival Venue (Seattle Center)
We always enjoy the street/​vendor food. What we don’t enjoy is the vandalism/​loitering in the neighborhood during and after the festival. We had parts of our apartments tagged, human poo and pee in the alley way near our building, and debris/​garbage all over the place.

I was visiting my sister in Seattle and she took me to Folklife. We had a lot of fun. From the buskers, to the performances, to the food. It was a nice way to spend the day when visiting from out of town!

It is going on now. Big line up. Many great acts, scheduled and not scheduled. people ewatching. HMMM Rain! This changes everything. It won’t be as crowded. It will be easier to get food, see bands, talk to one another, park.
