Criminals.
These miserable scum rented me an apartment that was completely infested with bed bugs. thousands of them crawling around everywhere! The previous tenants were forced from the unit before me, and they STILL rented me the unit without any warning.
I’m pretty sure this is completely illegal and I could probably sue the crap out of them, but I’m really not the type to go through all that trouble.
Also, when I notified them that I was being bit (dozens of times per night), they stated «we will not be continuing your lease and you must move out immediately». I agreed with them to break my lease without penalty and I would just get my stuff and leave.
I thought everything was cool until a $ 2700 bill popped up in my collections about 2 months later, no warning, no bill sent to me, no communication.
I can’t think of a worse experience, I will be paying for this for years to come. What a dark time for me :(
I will be pursuing legal action, good thing is I already have a solid case according to my lawyer!

Gibraltar is a miserly organization.
The Eastlake facing studios feature quirky little spaces. I never heard voices or TV/​music through the walls. Minimal footsteps from above.
Structurally sound with out-​of-​date and inefficient heating/​cooling system and appliances. Gibraltar slow or unresponsive to maintenance requests and general building maintenance and security. Non-​compliant with Revised Code of Washington:
RCW 59.18.070
Landlord — Failure to perform duties — Notice from tenant — Contents — Time limits for landlord’s remedial action.
Vews uninspiring on Eastlake Ave facing units. Traffic noise prohibited open window.
On the upside, Gibraltar did comply with legal tenant notice to break lease.

Horrible communication skills, inconsiderate, and careless!

They are terrible! Be careful renting a place from this company. Do not expect to get any of your deposit back– they will nickel and dime you for every little thing (even ones made up) until the balance reaches $ 0.

I’m giving these guys an extra star now that I can compare them with the worse place i moved in to! they still didn’t respond to complaints (hence the move) but they adhere to the law and… they returned my security deposit! wow! I left the place in beautiful condition, but most landlords would screw you anyway and these guys didn’t.

Ho hum.
This group managed the apartment I live in at this time for 8 months. There were inconsistencies when they deposited rent checks. Why woudl it take a company 2 weeks to deposit a check?
When the electricity was out and I called them about it. they had me call the city! And asked me to call them back with info.!! When my electric circuits stopped working fo rhalf the apartment I was blamed!” What did you do?“
Over and over. Finally an expensive electrician cam over and fixed it in a few minutes — oh yeah, whomever wired it had wires crossed or whatever re the hall and the deck! Umm what did I do? I turned on the deck light.
They stopped being the management company. The mega-​building owner got a different management company. I’ll be moving asap.
