This place is only 2 blocks from where I live. SO i had to try it out. Not bad for being an older gentleman. I walked in and asked if I could get a line up(it was not busy at all) and he said«sure thing» so i got in the chair right away! The line up only took about 15 min ish. And overall I would give the line-up I got a B– Only reason is because I really enjoy a super clean line up all the way around. This was was fairly clean, i thought he could have done a better job making things more clean, but it was a decent job. I will still be looking for a SUPERCLEAN line up form someone who takes there time and can make it clean all the way around. ANYBODYHAVE A RECOMMENDATIONFORME? .But overall If i needed a line-up and didnt have time to spare I could always walk down here and expect to get it. Like always you should try to scheudale an appt, but it seems pretty slow there and I dont imagine there ever being a huge line to wait in.

So you think there’s no such thing as a bad buzz? Think again… I’ve got my hair cut at just about every clip joint in Seattle. Half the time when I get home I have to finish the job I just paid for. Then I found Hodges Hair Quarters, this is the best cut in town. Not only is it a quality cut at a low price but on the weekends it can feel like walking into the barber shop from Eddie Murphy’s Coming to America(1988). Hodges is also an example of a longtime local business that preservers.

While I never got my hair cut there, I loved walking past Hodge’s Hair Quarters everyday on my way to work, and eventually became friendly with the owner and his son when a loose pitbull(with a full rack a nipples) chased me into their shop.(They probably just liked me because I would take them a dozen donuts when I was going in late to work and had time to stop at the Italian Deli.) Always packed and a total homeboy hangout on Saturday mornings, this is a Rainier Valley institution, plus, that Hodge is one snappy dresser.
