Meet the Business Owner
Lora S.
Business Owner
Lora Swift, founder of Hotwire Online Coffeehouse, has been an entrepreneur in spirit her entire working career. Her career began in New York working for a large insurance company, she quickly was promoted to underwriter and then once again to run a quality compliance team. She found she missed the West Coast so her return to Seattle included a position as a Regional Manager the next 8 years. Much as she enjoyed the challenge the pull to run a small business was too strong to ignore. In 2002 she said farewell to the corporate life and embarked on a journey that that has proven to be one of the most educational, enriching, frustrating but rewarding road she has taken in her life.
