Specialties
Inspire is proud to be the first studio in Seattle offering the innovative Lagree Fitness workout. Lagree Fitness is specifically designed to strengthen, tighten, and tone the body quickly and safely. The workout fuses key elements of Pilates, strength training and cardio, offering an intense total body workout in a dynamic group class environment. All in just 40 minutes.
At the core of the Lagree Fitness method is the Proformer™, which represents a significant evolution of the traditional Pilates reformer. It is designed to cater to both upper and lower body muscles, using a system of springs and pulleys to accommodate the resistance and counter-resistance elements of the workout. Under the guidance of your certified trainer, it’s one of the safest ways to strengthen your muscles while reducing stress on the joints and connective tissues.
History
Established in 2010.
Our first studio in Queen Anne opened in January 2010. West Seattle was opened in March 2013.
Meet the Business Owner
Sue H.
Business Owner
Growing up, I never considered myself strong or athletic. I wasn’t very active nor did I really enjoy working out. I followed all the rules: went to college, got an MBA, got a job in banking, but found myself unhappy, unfulfilled, and lost. After a series of personal setbacks, I discovered personal development, which taught me this simple philosophy: Change your thoughts, change your life. Six months later, I was introduced to Lagree Fitness while visiting a friend in Los Angeles and instantly knew this is what I wanted to do. Six more months later, Inspire was founded and we opened our doors in Queen Anne in January 2010.
Lagree Fitness has completely transformed my body and my overall confidence. I’m so much stronger mentally and physically than I ever thought I could be and as a result, more connected spiritually. But, the best part of doing what I do is being able to offer a service that helps others feel what I feel every time I go on the machine.
