Every once in a while you come across a shop in a touristy area that seems like it’s more for residents than tourists! «Interesting Stuff» isn’t a touristy chochka shop. The owner is well traveled to places like Morocco and Thailand and other international markets and brought back all sorts of wonderful things that bring color into your home. I’ve always wanted one of those Turkish Kilims and I just LOVE those amazing hand woven cushion covers. The store, unfortunately is going out of business(like many similar shops) but the good news is all the inventory is on sale. The tribal art and craft can add a more homey feel to a contemporary decorated room or office. So get over there and pick up a Buffalo horn handled flatware set in it’s own wooden box for just 45 bucks ! –or a gorgeous rug. I wish I could have spent more time(and money) in there.
