J&R Events

J&R Events was the rock that kept me sane from the very beginning of the wedding planning, all the way through till the end of our wedding night. Joy was over-​the-​top exceptional with all of her help and services. I once told her that without her, I probably would have given up on the whole thing. She helped plan and smooth out all of the fine details. From helping coordinate with the venue, to referring us to our amazing photographers, to personally designing (not to mention getting them printed) the wedding programs, to planning out every detail of the ceremony and reception, and more. She was there. Joy kept telling me «I don’t want you to worry about ANYTHING on your wedding day, not one thing» and I didn’t. Thank you Joy and J&R Events for making our wedding more perfect and memorable then I ever imagined.

Truthfully, it was a tough decision to hire a day of wedding coordinator because I consider myself to be a highly organized and detail-​oriented person but I can honestly say that hiring Joy was the best decision we made! She made sure to work out all of the details that we did not even think about and she always honored our decisions and made sure to uphold our vision. I admire her professional manner, knowledge of vendors and honest feedback. She was always available via text, phone calls and emails to go over the details months before the actual wedding day. She’s easy to talk to, genuinely loves the work that she does and she always makes you feel like you’re the only bride she’s working with (even when you know she’s working on other weddings). I highly recommend her to anyone that’s planning a wedding/​event!

Joy is absolutely amazing! Not only does she share my name, she saved me from having a nervous breakdown while trying to plan my dream wedding! She is able to give you an honest option about things without steering you away from what you truly want.
She is organized, friendly, creative and detailed orientated. Handles stress well and makes sure that everything goes as planned. She also has knowledge on vendors for anything you need (Alterations, Hair, Make-​up, etc.) which is helpful since there are so many to choose from. She saved me from having to do any type of paperwork. She made sure to help me stay on budget which is awesome!

4. Ensures that you have your dream wedding that you could ever want.
5. She enjoys all the planning that would normally stress you out.

Joy is the best wedding coordinator a bride could ask for! She is organized, patient and calm. (I know this because she was with me for two botched dress «final» fittings) Plus, she knows her stuff! She knows all the best vendors and will help create your dream wedding. Having her the day-​of was so comforting and gave me peace of mind because I knew whatever happened she could handle it. Highly recommend to all brides!
