I love Jana and her staff. The office is wonderful. Everyone is so nice and friendly that you immediately feel comfortable. I never have to wait. They are so calming. I have pretty good teeth but I am still a nervous dental patient. Not anymore! Jana and her staff always let me know what they are doing and why. They’ve also taught me many great tricks for keeping my teeth clean.
This summer when my daughter was visiting, Jana went out of her way to fit in an emergency appointment. I can’t say enough good things.
I haev sent many friends and co-​workers to Jana and they all come back and thank me.
Now I look forward to seeing the dentist every 6 months.

dr. raisler is great and her hygienist is AMAZING

I read the reviews below and was ecstatic to think I had perhaps found my new dentist! Imagine my disappointment when I called only to discover she isn’t accepting new patients.
What a bummer.

When we moved to Seattle we had the advantage of having a family member who is a dentist and had connections in Seattle. She recommend that we run, not walk, to Dr. Raisler. After two years of grad school and no dental insurance we were sure that no matter who we visited, they would admonish us over and over again for not seeing a dentist more frequently. This was not the case, everyone was understanding, friendly and sweet. Caren Toney, the hygienist is the BEST– we really love her, she has been so good to my husband and me the several times we have had cleanings. The other dentist’s name is Suzanne and she is awesome too– I have had work done with both of them. They all have the most wonderful, calming «dentist’s voice» and are really good about listening to you and learning about your needs. I have had jaw trouble in the past, so I really freak out when I have to have work done on my teeth because my jaw can lock up and that causes me to have panic attacks. They have been really good about this and I was happy that I had a filling and no locking of my jaw and no panic attack! I also just had a baby and they have been really good with telling me how to take care of my teeth while my hormones are all out of wack. I usually hate going to the dentist, but with everyone being so nice and caring (and the office having such sweet views of the city) I have no problem going now. I highly recommend both dentists at this office.

I found out about Dr. Raisler through a friend who was working at a florist. A guy came in and ordered a floral arrangement for his dentist. Apparently he had had a root canal done and she was FABULOUS! (It’s not often that patients come out of a root canal giving their dentists THAT kind of compliment!) So my friend asked for her name and started going to her. And when I was looking for a dentist back in 1989, she referred me to her. Dr. Raisler is very warm and personable, very gentle, and a great dentist! And her hygienist is also great! I highly recommend her if you are looking for a dentist. She also just moved to a beautiful new office in the One Union Square buiding downtown. So even though I live in Des Moines, I don’t mind driving downtown because she is so wonderful!
