Jena Peterson, ND

I could not be more pleased with the care I’ve gotten from Dr. Peterson and Full Circle Medicine. Her demeanor is attentive and caring, focused but not rushed. I found her knowledgeable, competent, intelligent, and effective.
She has taken care of my lifelong heartburn, and done wonders with PMS. (B shots? who knew!?)
She also helped me avoid pharmaceutical antidepressants and anti-​anxiety meds with targeted support for high cortisol and low neurotransmitter levels, something no care provider of any stripe has ever suggested was even possible.
She received some (minor) critical feedback with gracious interest and gratitude, which is rare for humans, and more so for doctors.
I am also surprised by the negative review (though no single business can work for everyone, I guess) but I do acknowledge that the clinic as a whole comes across as a bit disorganized. They’re all positive people with strong work ethics, but could spend more attention on their organizational processes.
That said, this occasional mis-​steps are totally palatable to me, given the incredible experience and high-​quality care I’ve received there.

To add to my last post, I just found out today that Full Circle Medicine charged me $ 175 for the Vitamin C injection that was not even injected!!! Again, makes me question their practicing ethics and need for money.

Dr. Jena is the most caring, respectful, committed, responsive and knowledgeable healthcare provider I have EVER seen in my entire life.
I came to her in very, very bad shape. I sought her out after an emergency room visit where I was treated like a piece of meat. No one at the hospital cared or even wondered why I, a seemingly healthy person, was in the ER covered in hives with one of my eyes swollen shut and my tongue, nose, ears and airway also swollen. I had spasms in my esophagus and it was on fire. They pumped me full of drugs and fluid and shoved me out the door with a handful of prescriptions. My boyfriend at the time was not happy at all with the treatment I received at the hospital. After we discussed the fact that a similar yet less severe incident had landed me in the ER seven years earlier and that not one of my doctors had ever been able to tell me why I had ended up in the ER or what was wrong with me, he suggested that I see a Naturopath. I searched the internet for a Naturopath in my area that treated allergies and hit the jackpot! I FOUND DR. JENA!!!
DR. JENA SAVED MY LIFE. Had I gone back to an MD, I am quite certain I would be dead by now. My first appointment with Dr. Jena was three hours long. We covered my entire history… not just medical. You see, unlike any of my previous doctors, Dr. Jena believes in treating the WHOLE PERSON. Dr. Jena is the Sherlock Holmes of Greenlake and her mantra should be — the blood reveals all.
After many blood tests, Dr. Jena discovered that I had several active infections, two genetic diseases and many food and environmental allergies that I was not aware of; this deadly combo is what caused my immune system to crash. My recovery was slow because I had so many things going on at the same time in my body, but I felt safe, secure and well cared for because Dr. Jena was with me EVERY step of the way.
I had had chronic heartburn for nearly 20 years when I came to Dr. Jena. I had been on every RX known to man and nothing ever worked. I saw a specialist who performed an endoscopy on me. The specialist told me that she had removed precancerous cells from my esophagus and handed me a prescription for yet another medication that did absolutely nothing to relieve my heartburn. The next time I heard from the specialist, it was two years later and via a form letter. According to the form letter it was time for another endoscopy. Hmmm, not exactly what I would call adequate follow-​up after an invasive medical procedure. This specialist never drew blood or tested me for anything, but Dr. Jena did and she discovered the cause of my digestive tract issues. I am happy to report that today I am 100% heartburn free. No expensive or invasive medical procedures required and no medication, just good sound doctoring and detective work!
I could go on and on and on and on about my illnesses and recovery, but that is not what this review is about. It is important for everyone to know that Dr. Jena is the most competent doctor I have ever seen… I guess I should really say, have ever worked with because it is work (for both doctor and patient) to come back from a huge crash like the one I had.
Dr. Jena’s practice mirrors her own inner peace. I am an intense and impulsive person, but I am calm and at ease in her presence. I enjoy the fact that my doctor hugs me and makes inquiries about my life that are heartfelt and sincere. She is open and honest… she is a real person. Michelle, who runs the office for Dr. Jena’s practice, is deeply committed, caring and beyond friendly. Sarah, who has recently joined the practice in the front office position, is responsive and delightful.
At Dr. Jena’s I am valued and respected for the person I am and I have never once felt like a piece of meat, a number or a dollar sign. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Jena Peterson.

We are so appreciative for the expert care from Dr. Jena Peterson! Our son experienced belly pain on and off for years. We went to our family MD for treatment with no improvement. Finally the belly pain was so bad that our son was not finishing his dinners, and waking up early due to discomfort.

She also suggested some natural supplements to support his gastrointestinal health. After the recommended medicaiton, the belly pain was gone. Gone! Still gone!
Dr. Peterson is smart, personable, professional, and well informed. I recommend her without reservation.

Dr Jena has been a remarkable doctor. The individual time and concern she spends on each patient provides a superior level of care than many other doctors offer.
