Jerry’s Sewer & Drain

Jerry has unclogged my drains several times. Arrives promptly and gets the job done for a reasonable fee.

I hate to write a bad review, but I don’t want a poor homeowner to be caught unaware. I called Jerry’s Sewer and Drain based on a referral from a friend of a friend. When they arrived, they spent all of 1 – 3 minutes looking at my property before they proclaimed (based on a brief visual inspection of the ground alone) that I likely had a cracked sewer line that needed to be replaced and I needed a clean-​out installed as well. They then quoted me a rather high price to fix it on the back of a card (that didn’t have their contractor’s license # on it) and left. Skeptical, I did some research and called another reputable company out. They put a camera down my sewer line and cleaned out the blockage in under an hour. As the camera clearly showed, I didn’t have a broken or cracked sewer pipe at all — just a lot of toilet paper that got clogged 27 feet down the line. I can’t say if they do quality work (and to be fair – they might do great work), but I can say that the lack of a contractor’s license number on their card, the lack of a written out bid (which is not worth the paper it’s written on) and the fact that they were trying to get me to complete work that would have been both costly ($ 1000+) and unnecessary makes them a business I would prefer to avoid.
