JUMP — I’ll miss you!(Actually, I thought you were closed, but I just read the review below that said you have an extended lease, YAY, I’ll be by to make many last visits!) Although I’ve only known you for a short while, you are of my favorite little joints on the Hill. Stephen is one of the friendliest and down to earth baristas, and the swing music he plays always gets me in a good mood. I love the adorable lil’ «patio» he has at his stand, fun to sit there as there as the people watching is always entertaining along Broadway. And he hung some winter lights up there last year that made it look so cozy and inviting on a gray Seattle day… I liked the extended hours you tried this year, because it was hard to stop by with the limited hours you had before. But I will make every effort to stop by and look forward to your new location, keep us posted!

Holy Mother of Yum Yum! Michelle and Tiffany told no lies about the fabulousness of the spicy cinna-mocha. So good!!! I stopped by this morning to congratulate Stephen on his newly extended lease(through the end of this year instead of the ridiculous 15 day notice handed to him a couple of weeks ago… Harrumph!), and thought it was time to try a new drink. So glad I did! I’m a convert now… a quadruple grande cinna-mocha w/cayenne is just the thing to have when this year’s cold is beating you to a pulp. Not too sweet — not too spicy… just right! I’m one of those people that never seems to manage finishing my mochas cos the concentration of chocolate at the bottom is usually too sweet… not this drink… all gone in record time! Got my money’s worth on this one… now… I’ve got to go bounce myself off some walls. :-) So glad you’ll be in the neighborhood through the end of the year Stephen! I’ll be sad when you’re not on Broadway, but I’m looking forward to visiting you at the new storefront!

As fate would have it, I was heading down Broadway today with a co-worker when I remembered to STOPTHECARWEHAVETOGOTOJUMPNOW!!! Time’s a-wastin’! And because Michelle B. and I are Siamese twins separated at birth(ok, a decade apart. It’s a miracle what modern science can do) we both ordered the mocha but I ordered the Cinna-Mocha with cayenne pepper. Oh my goodness was that an amazing one-of-a-kind cuppa coffee! I’ll be heading back on Monday which may be your last chance(for a while) for a cup made with love by our very own Stephen J… hurry hurry hurry!

Go check your to-do list. Please rearrange your priorities and put«Stop by Jump! Espresso to see Stephen J. «at the very top of your list. Yes, it may mean waking up before noon. Yes, it may mean putting on something other than pajamas to walk down Broadway. Yes, it may mean you will have the best spicy mocha of your entire life!!! Holy cow people. What this man can turn a mocha into is akin to those miracle workers we see on public access television. The humble mocha is taken to Jump! Espresso and given a new life — seriously the mocha has been reborn! Ok, ok, ok, stop your clapping — we have a serious announcement. Jump! is being forced out of it’s current location to make way for some new condos on the hill. Boooooo!!! Seriously, rearrange your entire schedule in order to try one of these mochas before it is too late. And don’t worry, Unilocal will be the first to notify you when we are able to get more mochas from Mr. Stephen J. MiracleWorker.

Well, I’ve only been to Jump once so far, which is inexcusable since I’ve known Steve for 10 years! But I finally made it to the Hill before 3pm and had a superb iced mocha, and of course got to chat with Steve, who is one of the top 10 nicest people in Seattle.
