After 2 months I have noticed significant improvement from consistent training and progressive loading of the feet, legs, hips and core. Not only am I 80−90% better in my injured foot, but I have noticed my balance, mobility, and strength to be improved in key areas for the activities that I’m involved in. I trained for my first marathon like it was my first marathon. I committed nearly every rookie mistake in the book. Overuse injuries piled up and with three weeks remaining to race day my knees wouldn’t go more than four miles without pain.
Long story long, Dr. Greg Johnson, Jason Butler and Sarah Pfau work miracles. Not only did they have three short weeks to magically repair my knees but five days before the marathon I threw out my back! Somehow, they still got me across the finish line.

— Jason Butler — Incredibly knowledgeable and very detail oriented. During rehab he is constantly offering constructive critiques to form. I looked to Jason to get super granular with form and proper movement to rewire how I moved. I worked with Jason over a dozen times and not once did I feel he wasn’t engaged. I respect anyone who works with passion and it’s obvious that Jason fits that bill.
— Sarah Pfau — Sarah is a former collegiate athletic trainer with specialties in nutrition. She really knows her stuff and seems to have an endless rolodex of exercises and progressions that continue to challenge. Kinetic is the absolute best! I have been an athlete all of my life and have seen my fair share (if not more) of physical therapist offices. Kinetic is different.
Kinetic is geared toward athletes. They are constantly challenging you to push harder, longer, deeper. They want exactly what you want: to get you back to your workouts. All of the staff are engaging, caring, and encouraging. They are actively engaged in your exercises, making sure that you are doing them correctly.
Dr. Deroche is fantastic. He brings the pain– no doubt there. But by doing so, he pushes your body to recover faster and get you back to 100% as fast as possible. He also doesn’t actively limit you. Instead of telling you what you can’t do, he tells you all of the things that you can do.
I absolutely love going to physical therapy now!

Steven Kaiser and the entire team at Kinetic are not only professional & efficient but you can tell they genuinely care about you, your recovery, individual needs and are as excited in your success, no matter how small, as you are.

What’s the hardest part about running ultra-​marathons? Taking care of yourself before/​after running. Stretching and mobility exercises have always been a chore for me, but the wonderful staff at Kinetic make these experiences actually enjoyable. And, it turns out, all that mobility work and strengthening is actually good for you!
Dr. Kaylie and her crew have a fantastic set-​up combining at-​home and in-​studio exercises and treatments that have gotten me back running after a significant injury. I wouldn’t have recovered as quickly without physical therapy and definitely wouldn’t have been as interested in physical therapy had it not been for their high level of treatment and the amount I enjoy the sessions they offer.
Go here, you’ll feel much better.

I can’t say enough great things about the Kinetic Fremont team. When I first visited them, I didn’t have a specific injury, but rather some knee pain and a desire to move better in order to stay mobile longer. Dr. Kaiser, Jason and the rest of the staff at Kinetic have been working with me every week and have helped me virtually eliminate the knee soreness I was having. They’ve also helped me strengthen several deficient areas and given me lots and lots to work on during my own time. Highly recommended.

I don’t have enough experience with Physio Therapy providers to rate these guys the best, but if there’s another group of more professional, knowledgeable, and kind people who go as far as the folks at Kinetic, I’d be interested to know. Dr. Kaylie, Jason, Sarah — these are excellent folks who know their stuff and are keenly interested and invested in making sure that the Kinetic customers/​patients are getting the best service to success. Hopefully I won’t have to go back and see them anytime soon, but if I ever need PT services again, I won’t hesitate to return!

I’ve been going to Kinetic on and off for a year now. I’ve been racing in triathlons for about 8 years now and you tend to get these nagging muscle issues. In the year I’ve been going I’ve worked with Dr. Steve Kaiser. Let me say that he has been nothing short of fantastic. When I started going, my leg was knotted up from hip to toe and over a period of several weeks it was as good as new and I was back training again. As the year and training have gone on I’ve been back in for his help to keep me upright and training. Dr Kaiser asks the right questions to quickly diagnose the issue, establishes a plan for you, performs work on it. I implicitly trust his advice and he, along with my coach, will be the reason I can even stand on the starting line of my first full distance Ironman this winter in Arizona.
Can’t recommend him, or Kinetic, any stronger.

A huge shout-​out to the Kinetic Sport Rehab at the Greenlake Village location; they are fantastic. I went there with issues surrounding my neck and back but with the help of Dr. Mike Smith and rehab specialist Geneva Bender, my neck problem is solved and my back is getting back to normal.
Dr. Smith has a great way of explaining things so you can understand and follow the treatment schedule. He coordinates well with Geneva (and the other rehab specialists), making sure the workouts and exercises are focused and properly performed.
If you have an injury and you are looking for a professional rehab place, that will not only remedy your injuries but help you understand the surrounding causes and provide you with ongoing prevention exercises, this is the place to go.
At the front desk is McKenzie, she’s knowledgeable and will help you with scheduling and review your insurance coverage. Other doctors there are Dr. Molina and Dr. Hand. Rehab specialist Tyler and Sean are also excellent teachers and will watch over you to make sure you are on your way to better health.

Dr. Kaylie is outstanding! My story starts 4 years ago when I had posterior tibial tendinitis that plagued me for 3 years. I had 3 cortisone shots in my ankle, multiple rounds of PT and in/​out of a boot for months. Not to fault the 3 different doctors I saw, but they they were all treating the symptoms of the ankle. It wasn’t until I visited Dr. Kaylie at Kinetic did she seek out what was actually causing the tendinitis through a whole body analysis. Through working with her on/​off over the past year (for various flare ups or issues), I’ve not only been able to get back into running, but I’m just a few weeks away from my first ever marathon. It was just a few years ago, I didn’t think I would ever run more than 2 miles pain free!
What I like best about Kinetic and Dr. Kaylie is their approach. Again, they don’t treat the problem, they figure out what is causing the problem, treat it with Graston, massage and KT tape, but also provide an exercise program you can do at home to stay on track. All the while keeping you involved in whatever physical activity you want to do. I can’t count the number of times the 3 previous doctors suggested taking off 6 weeks to see if the issues would go away…

I recently finished my last session here and have nothing to say but great things! From the moment you walk through the doors until the moment you leave, you feel welcomed and cared for. I worked with Dr. Eric who is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. He was constantly observant when it came to my injury and provided insight on how to truly assist with my knee rehab.
While on the rehab floor, I worked closely with Sean and Andrew. They were always attentive and supportive. Both of them listened and reconstructed my workout out if something wasn’t working quite right; they always pushed me to the best of my ability (and even more so when it was three-​set Wednesdays!)
I would recommend this facility to anyone! Everybody that works at the Kinetic Clinic is always full of energy and positive vibes. Tricia works at the front desk and she is awesome as well, always assisted and problem solved when it came to insurance issues. My insurance allowed for 20 visits, and even though I could have used more sessions considering the severity of my knee issue, I believe that the team I worked with provided me with sufficient building blocks to become fully healed. A big thank you to everyone that works at Kinetic Sports Rehab!

While I have always worked out regularly and felt I was pretty fit, I always had poor flexibility and mobility. I was worried that I would eventually injure myself from compromising the correct movements. A friend of mine recommended Kinetics and said they really helped her out so I decided to give it a try.
I’m really glad I did as I had massive improvement after a few weeks of sessions. What really surprised me was that after about 3 or 4 sessions, I was able to touch my toes for the first time in 10 – 15 years, which even months of yoga hadn’t been able to fix.
I worked with Dr. Eric on some Active Release Technique and kinesio taping and Sean on functional rehab exercises. Both really knew their stuff and their enthusiasm and encouragement were really motivating. My mobility is now worlds better than it was and I’m much less worried of future injury.

If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, caring staff that wants to help you with every aspect of your injury recovery, you’ve found the right place.
I know the name says Kinetic Sports Rehab but they don’t just do sports rehab. I was in a car accident and I’ve gotten great care.
I am seeing Dr. Eric Dickerson and he has been phenomenal. He knows his stuff, has great technical skills, is able to explain things to me in a way that I can understand as well as visualize what he is referring to and he listens to me so I truly feel like we’re on the same page, working towards the same goal: getting my shoulder to having full range of motion and strength again so I can play volleyball/​tennis and get back to stand up paddle boarding and high fiving the crap out of people. He uses multiple techniques to focus on different parts of my recovery including Active Release and Graston techniques, Chiropractic care and Kinesio taping, which have worked really well for me.
Once done he sends me over to the floor to do exercises tailored to my specific injury. Andrew and Geneva are the two that I have primarily worked with and they have been really super. They are patient and explain why the way you do the exercise is as important as doing them at all. I’ve had both of them, and even others that merely saw my form slipping, come over and correct my form which prevents me from hurting myself and ensures that I am getting the full benefit of each exercise. When I do the exercises at home I am confident that I am doing them right because of their constant vigilance and direction.
From booking the appointments to the doctor’s visit to the exercises, I have had wonderful experiences with all of the staff here and my shoulder is getting better and better.
Kudos to everyone at Kinetic for making me feel so much better and healthier!

After over a year of shoulder pain due to martial arts injuries, and trips to a variety of surgeons and chiropractors, I happened upon a flyer for Kinetic Sports Rehab. I really questioned their claim to be able to restore function to pre-​injury levels. My doubts were unfounded. With 3 weeks of treatments from Steve and Andrew I now have nearly full range of motion, can sleep pain free, and am building strength again under their careful guidance. I have recommended this group to several friends and they ALL report their complete satisfaction with their results. KSR’s combination of Chiropractic treatments with P.T. works very well. On top of that, they are very pleasant and supportive people from their receptionist to their Chiropractors.

I’ve been going to Kinetic Sports Rehab for a knee problem for a little over two months now, and I have nothing but positive things to say about it! All of the staff I’ve interacted with here has been super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
I’ve been primarily working with Dr. Kaiser, and Andrew and Anya on the rehab specialist side. Dr. Kaiser has been great about listening to my concerns, identifying the source of my pain, and then addressing it through multiple treatment options like active release, taping, and strengthening exercises.
Andrew and Anya have both been really helpful at guiding me through different exercises that were specifically designed for me to address various imbalances in my body. When I first started coming here, one of my knees was very weak and much less stable than the other, which was immediately obvious to Dr. Kaiser and his team when they had me perform a series of tests. After only a few months, I can already tell that everything is more stable and stronger. Of course, there will be ‘homework’ that you have to do on your own, at home or at the gym, for treatment to be most effective, and it’s important that you stick with it. This might deter some, but if you want results you have to put in the work.
Overall, highly recommended! If you have a problem that’s been lingering on for a while, you owe it to yourself to try this place out.

I was recommended to Kinetic by Nate Schafer and Matt Pattison, two outstanding trainers and physique athletes at David Barton Gym in Bellevue. I had been having shoulder and elbow pain from my weight training, it had been getting worse over time and it became clear I’d need some help to get things right again.
At Kinetic, I’ve been working with Dr. Mike and Sean primarily; but I have to tell you what impresses me most about Kinetic is that every single individual there is outstanding. They all know me, know my injuries, know my values and amibitions, and know what it will take to get me healing, from McKenzie at the front desk to both docs to Sean and Geneva in PT. Walking in to Kinetic for each session is the closest thing I’ve ever had in my life to being welcomed like Norm in ‘Cheers’. It’s not like going to a doctor’s office — it’s a high-​energy, physical space, filled with athletes of all levels, including me (no athletic talent, but a lot of determination at least!). They’ve got great skills, talent, attitude, and personality — but most importantly, attention to their clients to be clued in to what will help them heal and make it fun and energizing in the process.

What can i say. KSR changed my life. I am an aging athlete that has consumed lots of PT over the years. But KSR has literally changed my life. i came to them with partially torn bicep tendon that eventually fully ruptured. They have brought me back to a place of health that i probably haven’t been for over a decade.
First the environment is great. It’s family-​like. You are greeted with a smile, scheduling is easy and the rehab is fun. I really like the approach. First you see a dr. who assesses you and puts together an exercise program together with an exercise specialist. The treatments involve both hands on soft tissue work and exercises on the floor.
The program i have been on has been adjusted for my progress to keep pushing me to new levels on physical capability and confidence.
The Dr’s and exercise specialists are exceptional. They have been able to adjust my program backwards and forwards to accommodate progress and setbacks. The methodology is focused on «function». So very quickly after your injury moves out of the acute stage you are moved into exercises that integrate the injury recovery into a functional fitness rehab. This increases your confidence that you can get back into your sport.
They have a deep «bench». I have worked with multiple Dr.‘s and the transition has been seamless. This tells me they have a high bar for people they hire. The same can be said for the people who manage your exercise program. I will make a special call out to Sean Masters. Sean is very motivated and his enthusiasm is infectious. You really get the sense that he wants you to progress and that he really feels pride in your achievements. All the exercise trainers have a good anatomy and functional fitness competence.
My only wish is that i had found these people sooner.

First off, I have been going to the new Green Lake location and working with the team here. They have a great staff from McKenzie working the front desk to Dr. Smith and Dr. Molina. Yes the trainers Sean and Geneva are included too.
McKenzie was able to take care of my insurance for me which I still do not understand and she had it all figured out before I arrived for my first consultation. I was able to schedule my 6 visits or so in advance and they send appointment reminders which I needed.
I saw Dr. Smith and Dr. Molina for treatments on my IT Band and knee. Both were great at explaining what the issue was and how it was caused. From chiro work, massage, and stretching I could feel and see small improvements after each visit. In the end I feel knowledgeable on how to prevent further injuries from their expertise and advice.
The docs would pass on info to the trainers Sean and Geneva who would have a workout plan ready. The two of them are great to work with, they added small tweaks to certain exercises to become more challenging and I like learning stuff like this. The physical work I did was very simple but always challenging. I would always leave the session with shaky legs.
Sean would say no matter how tired you are always finish with a perfect rep.

I honestly cannot say enough great things about Kinetic Sports Rehab. The owner of my Crossfit told us that these guys would be setting up a shop for a few hours one day and offering free consultations. I’ve had some issues that I knew I had to check out professionally, so I took advantage of this opportunity. Dr Smith and Sean were friendly and knowledgable, and I am a fan of their approaches to therapy.
This is my 9^th week seeing them now, and I’ve made leaps and bounds in progress. They make everything so clear and easy to understand. Every time you walk into the clinic, the staff make you feel like family and remembers you by name. Aside from their expertise in this field, they provide a prime example of how a business with face to face interactions with customers should be run. They genuinely care about their clients and go out of their way to provide the best experience possible.
Hands down this is the best sports rehab clinic I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to many). I highly recommend Kinetic Sports Rehab and will sing their praises until the end of time!
