Kohary Construction & Development

These people are building a house in our neighborhood and have been unresponsive to several neighbors’ concerns. Their building is 31.5 feet in a zoned 30 foot height neighborhood. They play death metal music at an excessively high volume all day beginning at 7 a.m. They do not provide garbage receptacles and instead throw their food an construction waste into the yard — it blows into the street and neighbor’s yard. They have 4 elderly neighbors and several people who work from home adjacent to this site that they show blatant disregard for — with windows shut and my own music playing I cannot drown out their music and profanity. My neighbors and I have called and emailed and they have been 100% unresponsive to our requests. They are the most inconsiderate builders I’ve come across, not to mention the monstrosity of a building they are putting into our otherwise modest home neighborhood. We are several doors down and where we used to see tree and sky, we now see the wall of this new home. No more privacy for my backyard, nor about 6 of my other neighbors. Thanks for ruining our neighborhood Kohary, I feel sorry for whomever buys this home.

horrible construction using the cheapest materials ever. they can make it look pretty but you will soon find out in time what materials were used and watch your house fall apart. don’t ever buy a kohary home. worst construction. worst company to deal with. no ethics, no professionalism and he is a greedy, cheating bully like the other reviewer said. buying a kohary home was the worst decision of my life.

A greedy cheating big bully: I bought one of their townhouses and had to hire a lawyer in order to have Kohary fulfill their written promises. Imagine if I did not have written evidence of their ‘promises!’ I mean even with an official signed purchase agreement, they simply just ignored their end of the contract, betting on the chance that I would be afraid of their ‘big name’ in the industry. All thumbs down for Kohary.

I have purchased two Kohary homes in the past 5 years and have had a positive experience My first one was in the Ballard area and now we have our second home in the Northeast Seattle area. They have been great to work with and I the standards exceeded my expectations!
