Founded in 1960, KPFF Consulting Engineers is one of the largest civil and structural firms in the nation. We have been able to successfully leverage the resources of our firm while still maintaining the personal contact and relationships we view as essential.

Headquartered in Seattle, Washington where 200 of our 700 employees are located, there are also offices in Lacey, Tacoma and Everett, Washington; Boise, Idaho; Portland and Eugene, Oregon; Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Pasadena, Long Beach, Irvine, and San Diego, California; Phoenix, Arizona; St. Louis, Missouri and New York, New York. Our KPFF Global Division has offices located in Abu Dhabi and Amman, Jordan.

KPFF’s engineers practice with a minimum of organizational restriction. This allows them to work directly and independently with their clients while drawing upon the vast experience and resources of other professionals in the firm.

History

Established in 1960.

Shortly after Albert Kelly founded Albert Kelly and Associates in Seattle in 1960, Harvey Pittelko joined the firm, which eventually became Kelly, Pittelko, Fritz, and Forssen, and then was renamed KPFF in 1976.
