Larry’s Natural Gas Repair Service

John Bassett of Bassett Home Heating gave his highest recommendation for Larry when he referred him to me. Larry called me back immediately and we were serendipitously able to arrange for him to come to my home the same day. He asked good questions about my furnace issues during our call and arrived prepared to solve the problem. What a nice guy! He educated me as to how to maintain my furnace, showing me the parts that needed servicing, along with the one that needed to be replaced. The cost was very reasonable. I feel like I have a new friend in the gas repair business. Thank you, Larry, for showing such confidence and competence. I once again live in a happy, heated home.

If I could give this company a negative star rating it would be a negative 10!
I had made an appointment a week out for a time frame of 10am — 1pm. The day of our appointment to have our church furnace looked at, I was running about 15 minutes late. At about 10am I get a phone call from Larry asking where I was at, because he had been waiting 15 minutes (he was then early). I said I was en route and would be there in 8 to 15 minutes. He proceeded to yell at me saying he would not wait for me, that he’d already waited 15 minutes (again, he was the one early to the appointment!) and I could take my business else where (which I am HAPPY to do… Chimney Masters had wonderful customer service and phone presence!)
I explained to Larry that I was hoping he would have given me a call letting me know his ETA and unfortunately my early morning errand took a bit longer than I thought but that I was literally down the street. I asked him to please wait, as I would like to give his small company our business. He said he wasn’t waiting and hung up on me. I called him back telling him I was 3 minutes away and also sent a text apologizing for any miscommunication.
I have since realized I am thankful we didn’t give this man our business as I have a feeling his work could be just as shaddy as his behavior.

We called Larry in the middle of a cold snap and he came out the next day in the morning. He was able to fix the furnace with parts he had on hand for a reasonable price. This guy is the one to call if you want to keep your existing furnace working without fancy trucks and BS… Don’t let one bad review prevent you from calling Larry, he can really save the day by getting the heat going again… warm feels good!

A man showed up from Larry’s Nat Gas Repair to work on our multi family house furnace this morning and was a complete misogynistic disgusting jerk.
He was contracted through our landlord. We did not choose who would be coming to fix the furnace.
He was supposed to arrive yesterday but was a no show and we slept without heat for another night. We called our landlord and they said they would contact the company.
Well, he came this morning around 10 AM. He threw things out of the closet and said «Move your shit!» and when I asked him what his problem was and that I would be calling my landlord to tell them about his attitude he said «Fine, go ahead. Thank you for fixing my furnace» before pushing past us and leaving. He even left the lock box key (containing the outer doors for maintenance entry) open and the key in our back door. I was on my phone with the landlord when he came back silent grabbed the key and left.
He didn’t sound sober at all. He was a misogynist jerk who was also rude to the upstairs woman. She said «Good morning, are you fixing our heater?» and he replied «What does it look like I’m doing? and then cursing and mumbling under his breath.
This person should not be employed if you want people to ever call your company again. He was disrespectful and belligerent and made the people here uneasy with him being in close proximity of our doors.
WTF Larry’s Nat Gas? There’s no excuse for this jerk being allowed to act like that in front of customers.
This happened on 1÷15÷13 around 10 AM.
