Lighthouse Montessori moved into our neighborhood just as we were looking to transition from daycare to preschool. My son attended from age 3 through 5. The school is small, but filled with wonderful things for children to explore and do. The backyard is a wonderland — my son always came home filthy, so I knew he was allowed to be a proper kid! This school will also do a kindergarten year, but I think this is best for the self-​motivated child. Our son was not, so he started Kindergarten at Salmon Bay. Our experience with Lighthouse was wonderful, and we still drop by for a visit on our way home from big kid school.
