I had an appointment with melonie. I came in for a trim and some layers. She did a good job with the layers and styling. She suggested a couple of frizz control products for my wavy hair but was not pushy. Overall, it was decent experience.

Lilliam is amazing! She fixed a bad color job from another salon and was a absolute pleasure to work with. You can tell that she loves her job and was genuinely happy that I was happy! Everyone in the salon is so incredibly friendly and sincere! From Christine at the front to the owner Lisa. I look forward to going in every time I have a appointment! Almost didn’t want to write a review out of fear that I won’t be able to get in This place is a hidden gem! It’s my happy place

My experience here was wonderful! I came in to have a trim with a little more layers and a partial foil, let me tell you I’m in love with my hair now. Lexi was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and such a sweetheart! She did a beyond perfect job blending the highlights and colors. I highly recommend her to everyone. The atmosphere of the salon was fresh and friendly, also Lisa introduced herself and checked on me a couple times too. There is no doubt I will be a returning customer and seeing Lexi again!
P. S. They have their own parking lot for free! (I was very excited about that since usually parking on Queen Anne can be tricky).

So happy with my haircut and color. Believe it or not, I never dyed my hair before and I had been wanting to dye my hair teal for a really long time. Mel was great in talking through the steps to get the color I wanted and was meticulous and thoughtful to get the best results for my hair. Also, I have to say that this is the best hair cut I’ve received for my hair type and face shape. My hair is very thin and fine and the cut makes it look and feel fuller while elongating my face. Very happy!

Rachelle was a great colorist and stylist, i love it! Everyone there was a pleasure!

Lexi is an amazing stylist! I’ve been getting my hair cut from her for awhile now and I wouldn’t get my hair cut by anyone else! Even though I have to drive all the way from Woodinville to get a trim, it’s well worth it every time. Lexi understand exactly how you want your hair and then expertly delivers. Oh and your experience will never be dull as she is very fun to talk to whilst sitting in the chair. Great stylist and great place!

I wish I had MORE STARS to give! Melonie Quaranta «drop microphone!» Perfection. Everything I wish I had found in NYC… Walked in with 3 maybe 4 different shades in my Hair and asked Melonie to do the best she could to help and she managed to create a miracle! Melonie is my hair’s new BFF. Melonie is the gem you find and want to show the world how awesome she is. I hope that I will always be able to get an appointment with her when she becomes the famous hairstylist I know she will be. Thank you Melonie for bringing back the person I remembered but didn’t see in the mirror any more. Feeling amazing!!!*****************

This place is great. All stuff is very professional and nice, they all are like a big family. They use very good products for the hair. I visited Melonie for haircut and hair color. She is AMAZING and the nicest person ever, extremely talented. She revived my hair! For few years I couldn’t return to my natural hair color. Melonie did a miracle! From now on I will visit only Lisa Power Salon and gonna recommend it to all my friends. Don’t hesitate– MELONIE is the one you need!!!:-)

I went in for a trim and thin with Rachelle and had a great experience. I’ll definitely be back, probably for a more drastic cut next time. Rachelle and Lisa were very friendly and Rachelle gives a great head massage during the shampoo! She listened to what I asked for and checked in with me as she went. She also gave me great tips for reducing frizz. Thank you!

I came into the Lisa Power Salon for the first time today for a haircut (trim and layers) and it was the best haircut I have ever gotten! Rachelle did my hair and I highly recommend her. The salon is small, clean, and modern. Everyone is friendly and hospitable. I could tell everyone who works there is happy with their job.

I found this place on my way home from work one day, and stopped to inquire. Everyone I talked to there was really friendly. The pricing was about usual, but since the customer service i received was excellent, my experience there was priceless. I made a consultation appointment with Melonie, and later came back for my haircut with her. She was very thorough and asked me many questions to make sure I’d get the haircut I truly wanted. I had never really had that kind of attention to detail with my hair cuts before. We even compared images of hairstyles I liked on pinterest! Even though she was one of the newer members at the salon, you could tell she was dedicated to always improving and learning to be a better stylist. As she was cutting my hair, she and Lisa would discuss how best to approach a certain cut or style. Overall I really enjoyed my visit to Lisa Power Salon and plan to return in the future.

Uggg… I hate writing this but after my last experience, I will not be returning to this salon that I once loved. I came in to see a stylist that shall remain anonymous and showed her a picture of what I wanted my color to look like. I basically wanted a partial balayage on the top and front of my hair. She said no problem and we got started. She actually pinned back the top and front pieces of my hair and colored everything underneath! Ummm not what I aksed for nor close to the picture I showed her. When I asked if we could get the pieces I wanted colored, she told me the highlights would shine through from underneath. Well it was a straight up ombré, which I did not want. I was also charged $ 200 for a full foil. Again, not what I aked for. I called back the same day and asked to come back and get the top and front colored as I originally asked. I returned a few days later and she put a few foils in, left it on for 15 minutes then passed me off to an assistant to blow me out. It was brassy and still looked like an ombré. I should have stated I still wasn’t happy at the time, but I felt bad (even though I paid premium pricing for a service I didn’t receive). I had to pay another salon $ 150 today to fix the service I never received. Such a bummer because I really did enjoy going here in the past but I can’t justify being overcharged and undersatisfied. Sorry but you lost a good customer :(

What an awesome secret gem! I walked near this place all the time when taking my pup on longer strolls. I finally called and made an appointment. I had read about Lauren, and she is truly amazing. All of the staff is great. But if you want to ask for suggestions for a new look, trust them all the way. I chopped off 2 feet of hair and let Lauren do the color and styling. It looks amazing. Glad I finally called to make an appointment :)

Happily, I found Lilliam at LP Salon a few months back when we moved to Seattle. Finding new «people» stresses me greatly, but I’m happy to say I’ll be scheduling cuts & colors with Lilliam for the foreseeable future. Staff at LP are fun & positive, giving wonderful energy as you enter. Lilliam is truly an artist & teacher. She cuts & colors my hair so beautifully that I receive many compliments. In fact, a friend from my previous city plans to make the 3-​hour trip to Seattle for an appointment with Lilliam. Her engaging personality made me comfortable right away, & she’s great about teaching me little tricks for styling my hair almost as well as she does. Lilliam has a great sense of humor, & she gives a killer scalp massage. The salon is easy to find with free parking across the street. You won’t go wrong here.

I have lived across the street from this place for about 3 years, and just tried this place out finally… oh how I missed out on literally years of great haircuts! I wish I would’ve given this place a shot sooner.
After trying out several other salons in the area, I was never completely happy with my experience. I gave this place a shot and was delighted with the results. Rachelle was very sweet and easy to talk to, which I appreciated, as that’s sometimes hard to find in a stylist! She layered my hair to perfection and when I went home to style it (she basically did a blow out and it was pretty much straight) I took a curling iron to it and it was just the cut I was hoping for… and just like the example photo I brought in too, which is also not very common.
Also, this place gives a scalp massage that’s longer and much much better than I’ve ever had anywhere else! Love their products they use too. Woo hoo! My only complaint was that the appointment ran a teensy bit long (2+ hours) but since the cut is perfect, I can’t complain too much. :)
I’ll definitely be back!

Lauren Little did my hair on my wedding day… and I LOVED it. About a month before the big day, Lauren and I met and did a run through of my hairstyle based on photos I had shown her. Then based on what I liked and didn’t like, we made ‘edits’ to the hairstyle. Lauren was patient and did a great job in guiding me to figure out what I liked.
On the big day, Lauren came to my hotel in South Lake Union and was right on time and her estimate of how long it would take to do my hair was right on the mark. My hairdo was lightweight, beautiful, and held in place ALL day long.
If any of my friends need someone to do their hair, I will definitely be giving them Lauren’s name and contact info. Thanks Lauren!

Great place for color! I see Zoe, who is usually there only once a month but she is well worth the wait!
Went from black hair to blond in a year and love the new color and condition of my hair now… Albeit there were some tense moments during the transition. Zoe is always very accommodating with my moments of uncertainty!
I’ve never usually returned to a salon in the past… But I’ve been coming back for two years now and I’m absolutely happy!

Happened to be in Seattle & I needed to get a haircut. I didn’t want anything too drastic done to my hair or excessively pricey. I found Lisa Power Salon via Unilocal & called them up to see if they’d take a walk-​in, the receptionist said that all walk-​ins were welcome, which was great to hear since some salons don’t take walk-​ins at all.
If you’re not paying attention it’s very easy to miss this great salon because it’s tucked in the side of a condominium building that faces the water, so you do have to really keep your eyes peeled to spot it. But man, what a gem this salon is once you find it!
The space itself is beautiful, bold, clean & modern with excellent natural light and large windows. White, red and black dominate the interior which feels very luxe and artistic. The entire staff – from the phone call up until me handing over my credit card – were extremely attentive. And best of all, they were attentive in a genuine way, not a forced way.
I always dread the shampoo portion of my salon visits because the sinks are soooo awkward & painful to put your neck into. I’ve been to quite a few salons and I have to admit that Lisa Power Salon has THE BEST SINKS I’ve ever experienced. Super comfortable, natural incline. Most salon sinks hurt your neck or water drips down and they’re just awful. But the ergonomic shape of their seats/​sink was awesome. I really appreciated the attention to detail & client comfort when selecting their equipment.
The stylist I had listened well to what I wanted, she did a great job blow-​drying & trimming my hair. She didn’t mind when I asked her how much longer it would take to dry my hair because I had some where to be, in fact she even picked up the pace (which is no easy feat since my hair goes down to the small of my back!).
The atmosphere is very bright & cheery, the products they use are of a high quality (and all the stylists did a great job of explaining to their clients what products they were using and why), the cut was great, and everyone seemed to enjoy working there, which I find to be very telling about a salon.
Lisa even took the time to chat with me a bit as I was leaving. Overall I had a wonderfully positive experience with some very lovely stylists who left my hair looking gorgeous. I’ll definitely stop in again when I’m up in Seattle and need my hair done.
