We hired Katrina as our day of coordinator. If I were basing my review purely on her ability to pull off a successful wedding, I’d give her 5 stars. Unfortunately I felt she lacked professionalism. The worst example was that on our wedding day, I felt she was under dressed in a North Face jacket and flats even though it states in her contract that she would be dressed appropriately. Several guests and members of the bridal party also brought this to my attention so I wasn’t the only one. Katrina reached out to me and said she was cold but was in dress pants and a sweater. That was hard for any of us to see because of the flats and north face jacket. Months prior, during a walk through of the wedding venue, she seemed very distracted by her phone and my bridesmaid and I assumed she was texting since she was typing away on her phone while behind her clipboard. Upon posting this review, she told me that she was taking notes. Perhaps in the future she can let clients know that she will be taking notes on her phone, just like one would do if they were in a meeting and glued to their phone or were interrupted by an important call (I have friends that extend this courtesy just when we’re having a casual meal together). It would alleviate misunderstandings and assumptions.
A few days before the wedding I asked Katrina if she would need a meal and if she would have an assistant who also needed a meal and she told me that it would just be her. Then at the rehearsal (which she didn’t attend/​run because she was out of state for another wedding), her assistant informed me that she would also be at the wedding. Two members of my family were unable to make it due to a medical emergency so I told Katrina that she and her assistant could sit in their seats and her assistant could have one of the meals. When I saw her sitting with members of my immediate family dressed the way she was dressed, it hit me just how under dressed she was. Maybe it wouldn’t have been as big of a deal if she wasn’t sitting at a table of people dressed formally for a wedding.
At the wedding I noticed that the table setup was wrong and when I asked her about it, she blamed it on the florist. Even if it was the florist’s fault, why didn’t my coordinator question or attempt to change the error, especially if it was something she noticed.
I appreciated Katrina’s snappiness because I knew she would get the job done when necessary, and she did, but I often felt as though all of my concerns via email weren’t thoroughly addressed and trying to decipher the grammatical errors made on her phone got a bit frustrating. Having dealt with multiple vendors during the wedding planning process who were very professional, these few issues really stood out. These small changes — better communication, more thorough responses in emails, and feeling like she was proactive when the tables were done wrong — would have made the difference to push my review to solid 5 stars rather than the 4 which I bumped up from 3 due to her quick email explaining her side of some items.

I also hired Katrina as my wedding coordinator. Prior to the wedding, Katrina was very helpful in suggesting vendors. At one point I could not find a hairstylist that was available on my wedding day. I asked Katrina for help and she worked hard to find me a great hairstylist.
According to the contract, she was supposed to arrive for the rehearsal dinner. My venue was about an hour and fifteen minutes from her location. With forward planning, she could have avoided traffic and even been there early. She contacted us about a half hour before the rehearsal was supposed to start and said she could not make it due to traffic. I asked her to still come and we would postpone the rehearsal until she arrived. She did not. In order to make up for missing the rehearsal dinner we asked her to come early on the wedding day to help set up. She refused. Due to her late arrival, the bride’s and groom’s families did a majority of the set– up. A wedding coordinator is hired and paid to ease the stress not add to it. In the end, in this case, that did not happen.

Katrina was wonderful! I met with her for a consultation and she was professional, friendly and knew exactly what I had in mind. During the wedding planning process she was great at responding via email for any last minute changes I had to the order or where to drop off the flowers. The day of my wedding the flowers were delivered to our hotel and on time for my photographer to take detail pictures of. They were absolutely gorgeous!!!

We were very satisfied with Katrina. We hired her as our florist, her flower prices were extremely affordable. She’s also very responsive with texts and emails if you need her — I would actually text her instead of emailing her since she can respond to texts right away. She listens and does exactly what you want. I have never actually met Katrina in person which I was very nervous about, but the flowers were ready on the time and day we requested. The flowers were extremely beautiful and I am trying to tell all of my engaged girlfriends to hire Katrina as their florist! If I could do this wedding all over again, I would also hire Katrina to be my wedding planner since she did such a good job with our flowers! Hopefully I will get to order flowers from Katrina again for other occasions!

With Katrina as my partial planner and Caity as my day-​of coordinator, my wedding was in very good hands. Before the big day Katrina was very responsive and helpful, as I was planning a wedding from across the country. Up to a week before she helped put together last minute tent rentals because of an impending storm on our big day (and thank goodness, because it poured). And as my day-​of coordinator, Caity went above and beyond to make sure things ran smoothly. She was kind, focused, and patient all day. This company works hard, and they know what they’re doing. Highly recommend!

Love Blooms was one of our best investments for our wedding. I liked Katrina immediately from our first meeting. And from day one up until our big day, she was always available and quick to answer my numerous emails, questions and text messages. I hired her for both flowers and my wedding planner. The flowers came out amazing. She put together a couple of floral arrangements that she had never done before — including a cake table and a floral table runner — and they were absolutely stunning. Our guests were taking pictures at the cake table throughout the evening. The bouquets, centerpieces … everything was also beautiful.
While I had hired Katrina as my day-​of wedding planner, due to an unexpected family issue, she wasn’t able to be the day-​of coordinator. She let me know right away and quickly set up a meeting with Lori, which was very reassuring. However, Katrina continued to respond to all of my questions throughout the entire process. When it was the week of the wedding, Lori took over. She was a pro herself. She met with me a few days before the wedding and then during rehearsal. On the day of the wedding, she showed up early to my hotel room and picked everything up to start setting up the ballroom. Keep in mind that she also had the flowers, too. It was flawless. I showed up to the venue shortly before the ceremony began, and everything was perfect. With little guidance from me, she put everything where they should be, set up the décor, photos, cake table … everything. And the evening went by very smoothly and seamlessly. She took charge, got everything moving according to schedule … I never had to worry or question anything (and I am a bit controlling, to say the least). At the end of the night, she packed up all of our personal items and décor and delivered them back to my hotel room. She was just amazing.
Both Katrina and Lori were wonderful to work with. They’re patient and responsive — two qualities needed for a bride planning her big day! Thank you, Katrina and Lori, for helping to make our day so wonderful and memorable!

We choose Katrina because her prices were affordable, and from her website she does an amazing job.
I told Katrina exactly what I wanted and when i picked up my bridal bouquet, two bridesmaids bouquets, and the mother corsages and all the boutineers. and my arbor arragment it was PERFECT. She used the color palate and the flowers I asked for.
My stress dropped knowing she was completely on point with with i had asked and everyone loved the flowers. I would totally recommend Love Blooms to anyone!

I hate to leave a bad review but I just want to say that I really like Katrina but she did drop the ball on a few things. The bouquet wasn’t at all what I wanted which was a waterfall style and I payed 100 $ just for my bouquet. So I knew I had to call her and say something because it really just had a lot of greenery and was slightly bigger than my bridesmaids. Also I had a maid and a matron of honor. I asked her to make 2 bouquets different from the rest and maybe tie some fabric or lace around the stems. But I didn’t get that. I know that was a lot to ask but I was willing to pay extra.
I would give her a 3 to start with because of that. However I am adding in a 4^th star because within minutes she was at the hotel we were getting ready at and she even brought extra flowers I could use. This girl is dedicated. If she doesn’t get it right she will not stop trying. I wonder if she was just busy that weekend because it was Memorial Day weekend? Anyways she was great even if the flowers missed the mark… maybe I’ll get around to some pictures for this review because pretty much flowers are beautiful in and of themselves!!!

The flowers we received on our wedding day were PERFECT! I sent Katrina a million emails with questions, pictures, and how I wanted things to be done and she was so patient, kind, and helpful!
The flowers were exactly what I wanted and they arrived at the perfect time! I couldn’t have asked for a better florist for the day of!

Katrina is the best investment you can make in your wedding. We are so incredibly thankful we found her.
She met with us on more than one occasion before the event, and was available by email, phone, and text. Her ideas were practical and dead-​on; we saved time and money following her advice. She handled everything the day-​of our wedding. She is exactly the kind of smart, talented, and fearless person you want in your corner on the biggest day of your life.
I was a complete wreck going into the wedding — worried I would forget something or something would go awry — and Katrina put a stop to that immediately. She was on top of everything, at all times. It was impressive: from keeping everything on schedule, to letting every vendor know what to do and where to go, to executing every one of the details we wanted, to helping with a stubborn bustle when it kept falling down.
We also hired her to do our flowers. The cost was reasonable and the outcome was better than any of the photos we sent her. No question that Katrina takes pride in her work, and for good reason. She is fantastic and we would recommend her in a heartbeat.
On a side note, all of our other vendors knew who she was and said that they loved working with her.

Katrina was AMAZING and worth every dime we paid for her to help out for the day of. I met her at the Wedding Expo, where she was advertising as a florist. I wasn’t looking for a lot of flowers (I’m allergic to almost everything) but she had a neat paper flower display. I was hoping to create a brooch bouquet out of some family brooches and a bunch of my dad’s old ties (he had passed away while I was in high school and I wanted something to take with me down the aisle from him). Katrina had so many neat ideas and assured me she would be able to come up with something great. She told me about her day of coordinating (DOC) services too and I knew I had to do both.
We decided to hire Love Blooms for flowers as well as DOC. From then on, every question I had (no matter how many, silly, or ridiculous), Katrina emailed, called, or texted me back with helpful insight. I was amazed at how quickly she responded to everything. Most of the other vendors I had been working with would take a few days to get back to me, but Katrina was one of my best resources.
At the walk through for our venue, Katrina took charge and was able to explain what I wanted to the venue, without me having to say a word. Moreover, she was assertive so I didn’t have to be and made sure everything I wanted was going to be completed perfectly.
At the rehearsal, Katrina was able to wrangle in all of the bridal party, the flowers girls, and the rest of the gang. She took charge, ran the show, and left me feeling much more relieved.
Everything for the day of went off without a hitch. Or at least if anything went wrong, I had no idea about it. Everyone kept saying how smooth the wedding was going and how it all flowed so nicely. I really owe everything to Katrina, and would recommend her to ANYONE asking for a DOC, flowers or both. She did an amazing job and I feel went above and beyond for us.

Please get your flowers elsewhere!
I don’t know if it was because the florist was distracted, and it was a busy season, but everything was just off! My husband and I, as well as all who attended the wedding, were absoltely horrified by what we got on the wedding day.
The florist is fast responding and it seemed like she knew what she was talking about. You can’t complain about the prices and because we were on a budget wedding, we thought that LoveBlooms would be the perfect option. The pictures seemed nice, and she seemed nice.
Later, as we were going through the process, I could tell that she was extremely preoccupied with other weddings. I understand that it was a busy wedding season, but really, it is your job to take care of each wedding and make sure that it recieves the highest quality. There were bumps here and there, but since I paid the deposit, I decided to keep her.
Wedding time came around and a week before the wedding she said she could not get the flowers we wanted. Understandable. She said she would replace them with «more expensive» flowers and that she would take responsibility for the costs. Thank you. She also said she wanted to use a certain type of flower, but I told her I didn’t want those. I failed to mention that I was allergic to those types of flowers, but I still did tell her not to use them.
Wedding day: The flowers I was allergic to came in, when I asked her not to use them. The flowers were withered. NO ONE could find the cake flowers, and my bouquet was… disappointing. She made everything seem like it was going to be something, and it just wasn’t. Her lack of professionalism really showed on this day, and I was absolutely disapointed. It didn’t stop there…
Aftermath, I tried not to let it bother me. We made improvisions on the wedding day and one of my close friends went to safeway to get flowers for the cake. I told her all that disappointed me and she continually blamed other factors. I understand there were things out of this florists control, but yet there were many things she could have done to avoid ruining an important part to my wedding day.
Furture brides, beware of the quality you may get from this florist, make sure you are clear with what you want, and don’t make the mistake in falling into unprofessionalism. If you decide to go with this florist, make sure to be stern on what you want, and don’t let her make the decisions.

Katrina did our wedding flowers & we couldn’t have been more pleased! Incredible price, quality, creativity & service!

Katrina responded to emails quickly and assured me she could get my flowers to the venue in a small timeframe. She did, the flowers were gorgeous (pretty much matched the picture I sent her though some were already drying out), were wrapped nicely in ribbon, and set in water until the time to put them out. My only complaint is that she changed the men’s boutonnieres without asking me and since the men were wearing black, you couldn’t see them at all because they were very dark black flowers… so you only saw the white ribbon stick which is weird in pictures. I would definitely recommend her, especially for the price!

Katrina was FANTASTIC and completely exceeded our expectations. We hired her for day-​of coordination for our wedding in July and she went out of her way to make our wedding beautiful, easy and fun. We were on a tight budget but knew we would need help the day of and my husband said she was the most valuable of all the people we hired. She ran the show for the rehearsal and the entire wedding day. We actually booked her more than a year in advance, so poor girl had to put up with more than a year’s worth of ridiculous questions and pestering emails from me (I was very clueless about weddings). She answered every. single. one. of my emails and questions over the course of the year and also gently prodded as the wedding date drew near to make sure we were covering our bases and getting stuff done. I think I only saw her once or twice on the day of the wedding but I hear she was dashing here and there and taking care of everything — all my friends mentioned how great and on-​the-​ball she was. All I know is that she made the day easy, beautiful, fun and stress-​free. She has loads of great advice and really has a nice touch too when it comes to decoration and design — she just made everything (the venue, all the set-​up) look elegant and beautiful, and we didn’t give her a whole lot to work with. I don’t know much about weddings but she was everything we wanted: knowledgeable, organized, efficient, decisive, hard-​working, helpful and she has a lot of good connections to other vendors. She is also extremely affordable — half the price of the other planner we considered who was the cheapest we could find. I think she just really enjoys wedding planning & coordination, so it’s more of a hobby… I think that’s the only feasible explanation for her low cost. We were so glad we hired her and I have no doubt that you will be too.

The custom flower arrangements that you created for our son & daughter-in-law’s April wedding in Seattle, met all of our expectations. All communication with you was handled in a professional & timely manner. The flowers were stunning & held up throughout the day and into the next.
Our church wedding coordinator shared the story of how you helped avert a potential wedding disaster. We’d originally contracted for 3 bridesmaid bouquets & neglected to notify you that a 4^th bridesmaid had been added a few days before the wedding. As the bridal party dressed for the event, you created a 4^th bouquet from extra flowers that you brought with you & added blossoms on hand at the church. Katrina with Love Blooms was absolutely amazing! I hired her as the florist for our wedding! It turned out beautiful better than I could have imagined! Our flower choice was coral peonies and we new there was a chance they would bloom early and to my luck they did no one had them but some how Katrina got them. She showed up on the day of the wedding with my peonies and said she knew I had my heart set on them and so she tracked them down she did not want me to settle for something else! The center pieces, cake flowers, and bouquets, looked AMAZING! She even brought extra flowers and put them on my sweetheart table and in the bathroom! She went above and beyond in everything she did. She was so great about contacting me and when I would call or email she was always available! I have already recommended her to a few people! Thanks for making my wedding look so amazing!

Katrina was amazing! We purchased her day-​of-​coordination package and it was some of the best money we spent on the wedding. It was great knowing that everything was taken care of because Katrina was all over everything! She even tamed my family when it was necessary. If there were issues along the way I didn’t notice because she was always there to take care of everything. She also was very helpful when I had questions about anything. I would definitely recommend her!

Katrina was great. She was very responsive to all my calls and emails. I hired her for the day of coordination. I also rented linens and a few other items from her. There were a few minor glitches along the way, but she was very quick to correct them.
Overall she was spot on the day of. She followed all my directions, and also had good suggestions and appropriately filled in gaps I had forgetten that day. The day ran smoother then I could have imagined. She made my life less stressful the day of and I would recommend her to any other bride.

What an excellent business! I hired Caity in January to coordinate my June wedding. She went above and beyond and was quick to respond to my questions or concerns. Renting from LoveBlooms was a breeze and the rentals were exactly what I wanted. Caity did a fabulous job at the rehearsal and made the actual wedding ceremony flawless because of her expertise with timing and such. The reception decorations were absolutely perfect. My wedding was the most stress-​free day of my life because of her help! I don’t know of one thing that went wrong on my wedding day. :-)
