Established in 2000.

After my Dad gave me his old film camera, I instantly fell in love with photography. Slowly the business has grown from a few friends who’ve hired me for a music portrait or a wedding, to editorial work for clients like The Stranger and events for Microsoft. I enjoy the wide range of subjects that I work with and bring my passion to every client.

Malcolm is awesome. He shot my and my partner’s private ceremony this winter and our family reception this week. Both times, he was flexible, a lot of fun to work with, and had creative ideas of places to take pictures. Neither of us feels super natural getting pictures taken, but he made us feel really comfortable and even got us laughing. Plus he barked at our dog to get him to look for the pictures. It was awesome. We haven’t seen the reception pictures yet, but the ceremony ones were gorgeous.

Malcolm photographed our wedding and captured the event beautifully. He is easy to be around and I felt comfortable with him, which translated in our photos. His ideas for settings to take photos and creative angles really gave us a variety of views that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
He even came down to the courthouse to photograph our application-​filing! Such a bonus!

I’m an event planner and worked with Malcolm Smith on a couple of other non-​profit and social events, so when my own wedding was coming up and I needed a photographer I knew he was the one to use. Malcolm is fun, casual and relaxed, and completely professional when it comes to the business of producing great photographs. He sent several photos to us right after the wedding so we had a sneak peek at what was coming, and was very timely with the delivery of a complete set of images a few weeks later. Malcolm has an exceptionally good eye for the shot and he’s wonderful to work with — I recommend him without hesitation!
