I’ve been using this place for over a year and a half, and absolutely love them. I usually pick up my garments a week after when they say it’s going to be done, so I can’t tell you if they are prompt. But I have never had any problems with them messing up/losing my clothes, and my clothing always get back to me like new. The only complaints that I have are: 1) They are a bit pricey, 2) Except for a loading zone across the street, finding parking around there is awful, and 3) Despite being as awesome as I am, the owner has not yet remembered my name. Tsk, tsk.

I recently moved to Capitol Hill and decided to try these guys out. One of my shirts came back with a large bleach stain and they refused to accept responsibility, instead just staring blankly at me and eventually offering $ 10 in store credit(which I will obviously not be back to use). If you have any expensive garments I would certainly look elsewhere.

Great customer service, a little pricey. $ 2.75 to dry clean a shirt with no starch. Three stars because I have showed up 2 different times during normal business hours and the store has not been open. Once it was«back in 30 minutes» and twice, I was on my way to an important meeting at 7:40AM, dropped by and it wasn’t open yet.(supposed to open at 7:30AM)

I went back and forth on giving it a 5 star and honestly the only downside to it is there is no parking available. It makes it inconvenient especially when the processor drop off and pick up barely takes 5 minutes but you have to spend more time looking for street parking. I am a newbie to dry cleaning and I can say I am impressed. The guy goes over your clothes to point out harder to clean and finer materials so you know what to expect. He was realistic about how quickly he can complete the job so you know when to expect it. Decent rate.

«Excellent service, takes care of my clothes! Will never go elsewhere as long as I’m living in the city!» Updating my review to more than the original two sentences. I have been taking my dry cleaning to Marion for the past two years and have nothing but good things to say. I am very particular about my clothes and I like them to be paid attention to. The owner from Day 1 listened to me, took notes(2-ways the multi-colored scotch tapes and the labels that read dry cleaning, cold or gentle wash etc.) on the clothes and on my tickets. Any time I expressed concern, the issue was addressed and solved. Once he noticed that my sleeve’s button was broken so he re-sawed it back for me no charge! At Christmas-time I got a lint roller as a gift. And last but certainly not least it is timely service! My clothes have always been ready when promised! In return for this service, Marion has my loyalty and trust.

I have been using Marion Dry Cleaners for almost four years now. It’s right by my apartment, they are open outside of the usual 9 – 5 workday, and the owner is incredibly nice. The prices are reasonable, too. They have done everything from sewing up holes in my shirt to getting really tough stains out. He altered a really expensive dress of mine once and it came out PERFECTLY. I wear suits and blouses in my professional life quite often, so I always have something to dry clean and I always go to this place. Everything they do is high in quality. I love picking up my clothes from them because everything I pick up always smells nice and looks great. They are seriously the biggest thing I will miss if I ever move out of this neighborhood.

Honest, fast(if you ask), and next door. I have been using Marion Cleaners for about four months and they have yet to let me down. Prices are fair and the owner is genuinely concerned about customer service — he sewed on a missing button for me on the spot at no charge. Be careful as the paid parking lot next door will ticket you for even a 5-min stop.

I get my stuff cleaned here frequently. Very friendly service and my clothes always come out looking and feeling great. I’m always a bit curious of their hours though they don’t seem to be too well defined. They usually seem to be open in the mornings before work and for a few hours after so I guess I shouldn’t bitch too much. Excellent value as the prices seem super reasonable, you can get a butt-load of shirts and a suit cleaned for under 25 bucks.

I’ve been coming here for almost 3 years. The owner and family are always very helpful and they have decent prices with quick pickup times. I have had alterations, sweater stretching, buttons sewn back on, stain removals from hell and just your everyday getting blood off your clothes from a craaaaazy night out which we shall never speak of. Again.

I’ve been going to Marion Cleaners for about four months and love it. James, the owner, is super nice and runs a tight ship. I mostly bring in suits, dress shirts, and slacks, and they always come back in perfect shape. Another plus, which I think all cleaners should do, is you always get a drop off receipt before you leaving.

not only is this super convenient, but they also do the best alterations around! super fast and unbelievably precise. I bring vintage dresses there to be altered down, and I have never been so impressed. The man who runs the store is friendly and really nice to talk to. And… they are fast!

Convenient. That’s why this place gets 3 stars, and the fellow that runs the place is a jolly little man. Other than that, it is little on the higher side. But the fact that I can walk 30 ft out my door for drop off and pick up, is extremely nice.
