Drive-through is in an extremely inconvenient spot plus you can hardly notice the spot where you’re supposed to turn in to it. Other than that, it tastes and looks like every other McDonald’s really

I used to work at this location and I’m appalled at how much worse the service has become. I ordered two mozzarella sticks and they only gave me three stix instead of the six I clearly ordered. I know McDonald’s is the last place a lot of people would work at, but seriously, can u at least do ur job right?!?

High prices for less food. Friendly enough staff but orders are often filled wrong. If I didn’t live so close to this one I wouldn’t come back. I have on occasion gone out of my way to go to a different McDonald’s just to get better food. Let me just start by saying that I have been living near this McDonald’s for the last few years. As other reviews have also stated, they have never filled their French fry containers full. Recently they have also started to use paper fry containers instead of the old cardboard ones. I assume this is to save costs with the minimum wage increasing but they are much smaller(large is now somewhere around what was previously a medium, but with increased cost). Service is ok. Staff are friendly enough. Orders are often filled hastily so it sometimes results in incorrectly filled orders. Food is ok but the fries and nuggets are sometimes old. The dining room is as clean as expected. The reason for the two star review is the continuously increasing prices for less food compared to other McDonald’s. I get it if it’s a business decision for the whole region, but you can easily go to a different McDonald’s and get better value and food.(And isn’t that the whole reason anyone goes to McDonald’s?)

They close the doors 10 minutes before closing time. Don’t waste your time here.

So I just got home from getting mcdonalds in a drive thru. I noticed this amount of fries when I took it out of the bag. When I looked into my bag before driving off, the fries did look full because it was laid down on top of my chicken nuggets. Nope. Not till I had it in my hands when I realized I got half of the amount of my Large fries. && how am I suppose to eat 20 chicken nuggets with 1 sauce. Usually McDonalds never failed me until tonight

Look man… it’s McDonalds. Redeeming qualities are fries and nuggets. Otherwise, they’re overpriced and under quality. That’s all, really. Two stars for the fun late night runs with my friends but nothing more.

There totally needs to be a closer McDonalds to campus, speciically the AVE, that would be super totally nice right… But for now this McD will have to do. The parking lot is strange, but it hits the spot for those chicken nugget cravings.

Worst McDonalds ever for many reasons. First, they are the most expensive McDonalds! I mean a «dollar menu» McChicken in $ 1.89? Next, almost every time I go through drive thru, they mess up my order or give me someone else’s. Lastly, if you ask for ketchup and you say a few or handle full they will specifically ask if for example, like 5 and you say ok, they really count out 5 packets! What a waste of time. If someone wants like 5, then give a mini hand full of packets, if they say 10, give them a handful. Saves time!

Lets see, they got my order wrong, and were not too apologetic when I brought it back in. I rarely eat McDonalds but came back to get my order correct out of principle… I don’t eat fast food that much but I was not a big fan of my experience here, at least get the order right if you order in a number(how hard is it to remember 10 meals?)

Here’s the thing. wow. okay. hang on. yeah this is a really freaking good mcdonalds. fist thing everyone needs to know is that… it’s mcdonalds. so. there’s that. the costumer service is really quite good, the space is close to the cleanest mcdonalds i’ve seen! my only questionable experience consisted of me wanting fries that were a tad above luke warm, and the manager giving me the stink eye. other than that, quite good. quite good.

Mcd’s need better workers! why work when you’re miserable? I told the girl who was rude to go home if she doesn’t like her job. I get it that people have their days but its not my fault they take too long and when you finally pay, it’s like you dont mater anymore. I only go there when i’m reallllllly hungry and tight on money.

Reg mcdonalds, I dont eat mcdonalds much I just buy it either for my husband or son. I personally don’t like mcdonalds, it does not taste fresh to me at all, totally reheated or fake tasting. I prefer the real FRESH food. But anyway, this location is just like any other location, a clean mcdonalds, fast food, cheap, fast, you know the regular stuff =)

This place is sooooo horrible. I get that working at McDonald’s probably sucks, BUT that’s not really a reason to be rude. They seriously need to fire everyone that works there. Don’t go here unless you want to be treated horribly, yelled at, or have a drive-thru window slammed in your face when you ask if they remembered to put ketchup in the bag. JUSTSAYIN’- you’re better off going to Rain City or buying some ground beef and making a hamburger yourself.

To actually become a fan of McDonald’s is not something that I have imagined. Fast food is getting more expensive nowadays. Other than the Dollar Menu, burgers are not that cheap. The chicken nuggets are delicious. Big mac is pretty good too. Again, the portion is not big. The calories are high. They spent some time remodling this location last year. The old one had slightly awkward layout and doorway design. This new one appears more spacious even though it is the same restaurant. Seats and tables are always clean. They have a TV that plays news station channels. Here is a link to the McDonalds nutrition and calories count if you would like a reference,

I am not a McDonalds guy by any stretch however this McDonalds has been very accommidating to the special education students in the class I work in for over two years. The place is always very clean and the workers are very patient as the students order. Even has a TV with the news!

I don’t know why there’s such a shortage of fast food restaurants on the Ave. Sure there’s that Jack in the Box, but I’d rather not talk any more about that place than I have to. This McDonald’s is probably the closest one to the UW campus, but it’s still so far away that I don’t really see many college-age students hanging around here, not even people in fraternities or sororities. It’s still an okay place overall, but I don’t think the Ave is missing out on much by not having it there because there’s a lot of good and cheap food more conveniently located for people on campus. There is one particularly good thing about this place, and that is it’s clean. The floors were being mopped as I walked in, and the rest of the restaurant is similarly clean. The other noteworthy detail is that right after I placed my order, the food was ready on the counter! I didn’t have to wait at all; the service was basically instant like Dick’s. I didn’t even get the chance to fill up my drink when it was already there for me to pick up. But they were nice enough to hold it for me while I quickly went to the bathroom. Even the bathroom was quite clean for a McDonald’s bathroom. It was a pleasant surprise. The food here is pretty standard for McDonald’s. I’m sad that they no longer have the 20-piece chicken nuggets for five dollars, because that was a great deal while it lasted. Now it’s $ 4.69 for ten pieces, which doesn’t sound nearly as good. Everything else is the same. A Big Mac is a Big Mac and fries are fries. The fries are a little oversalted and have some tiny burned bits here and there, but it’s nothing too severe. I’m not going to be too harsh on the rating because the restaurant is clean, service is friendly, and there’s basically no wait for food.

So this is the closest a McDonald’s can get to the Ave and still stay open. Unilocal considers this establishment in the U-District but it is actually in University Village. As far as McDonald’s go this place is pretty standard, if not slightly more clean. The lady who served me was very patient with me and my McRib ignorance. The man who seemed like the manager was also very patient with another customer who essentially built his ‘sandwich’ item by item. I was going to have the McRib as it was«available for a limited time only,» but as usual I was inexplicably compelled to order the McNuggets(a.k.a. the«little brown devils,» as I call ‘em) again. I’d have given them two stars but I was so greatful to have a place to eat a warm meal after 9 p.m. on a cold November night, ven it it is a McDonald’s.
