The customer service here is very poor. Upon walking in, I receive stares, not greetings. Definitely not a welcome atmosphere and even less so by the associates. I’m sure the quality of suits here are great, this location though is the worst.

Men’s Warehouse has great products from top deisgners, a great price point, why wouldn’t I shop here? OH, the (lack of) customer service.
I walked in today with my boyfriend who has shopped with the company many times, this location, only once. He had been helped previously by an associate but due to the employee’s lack of attention to detail, he picked all the wrong sizes out for my boyfriend… even AFTER measuring him. Well my boyfriend had liked the items enough to let the sales associate order the items online and have them delivered to the store (his size wasn’t available). The associate said he would call when the items were ready for pickup, everything seemed fine. 3 weeks had passed and still no call… so we went in today after doing other shopping just to check if the items had been delivered. Sure enough they had been delivered. No call from anyone, no telling how long they had been there, but they were right up front in bags like they had been there a while. We checked out BAU, but I can’t forget that upon walking in, not one person had greeted us, and when walking out, we had only spoken to two employees out of at least 7. We were the only customers in there.
I can say with confidence that I will travel well out of my way to avoid shopping at this location.

Wow, did I step into a store from 1999? I’m blown away by the lack of organization this place has to offer. Given it is the only tux rental place near us, but jeez, it really sucks. They do ONE measurement and place your order. Honestly, I suggest you do this measurement yourself and order online from a different vendor because this place truly does NOT know what they’re doing. It’s no wonder they are bankrupt.

A couple weeks ago, my fiancé, his family, and I went to Men’s Wearhouse to browse for suits for our wedding. We have a large wedding party and they live all over the country so we were very interested in a company that could reach everyone. Dan helped us out and was extremely professional, helpful, and knowledgable for our needs. He listened to what we were looking for, explained different options based on what he has experienced for other customers, and was willing to work with our budget for the suits. We ended up buying that night for all of the groomsmen, ushers, father of the bride and groom, and a tux for my fiancé, 12 suits and one tux in all. I cannot say enough how easy he made this process and for that I’m eternally grateful!

On my flight in to Seattle last night (I’m a pilot with a large airline) my uniform pants zipper decided the time was right to fall apart. On a Sunday with a fairly short layover my options were limited. I could tie my tie to hang past my crotch but then I’d look too much like my 91 year old dad. I could walk around with my hat nonchalantly placed over my groin but … No, that’s not gonna work either. Safety pins from the rooms sewing kit? Uh nope.
Fortunately Men’s Wearhouse opened early on Sunday. Mike Albright made sure I was taken care of quickly and a couple hours later I’m ready to fly all night again. I couldn’t buy a suit from you today but I hope the shout out on Unilocal will work for now.

I’ve been shopping at Men’s Wearhouse for awhile and have been at several locations. My girlfriend and I were warmly greeted and helped by Dan Yoder. Talk about no pressure and he cuts to the chase. I came in looking for a pea coat in which they didn’t have but I also needed a few shirts. I forgot the brand as I’m a picky guy and he was able to pull up my past purchase history and get the shirts and colors I wanted. If the company didn’t have the color he found an alternative company that fitted exactly the same. We where in and out within 10 minutes while doing all the above. No pressure, plus getting all my answered question and being polite what else can you ask for? Dan needs a raise and I highly suggest him if you come in.

My fiancé and I walked in looking for a vest for our upcoming wedding. We found the perfect one, but the waist was a little too big.
I asked Dan Yoder for help, and although he was helping 2 other guests, he assisted us in a professional and courteous way and make us feel confident in our choice.

Daniel Yoder (Dan) helped me out and gave me a warm welcome. He was kind and got me to the pants that I needed quickly. I had been searching for pants all over downtown and was just not finding what I needed. Dan asked me a few questions, suggested some great options and had me getting custom fit by Marci asap within about 10 minutes. He also gave me 40%. If you’re looking for a considerate salesman that gets you a deal and back on the road in minutes, go see Dan!

My groom and I have been trying to figure out his outfit for over a month. After multiple attempts at finding an outfit that didn’t make him look like an old man, we decided to return everything.
We had to return to the actual store to make a return on items that were being ordered. We had never had these items in our possession… Yet we had to physically be in store to make the return.
We don’t need to talk about the 30 minute phone call trying to look up our account BEFORE we were told we HAD to come in.
Not only that, but when we returned some additional shirts we did have with us were able to be returned for in store credit. I know when I smell bullshit, and it felt like their assistant manager had made this up, so I called the Kitsap County location. Wendy, who worked at the silverdale location was happy to explain to the Seattle location that a full refund shouldn’t be a problem.
Overall, slimy/​sales environment. Incompetent staff and leadership. Cumbersome and inconvenient processes.
Planning a wedding is hard enough, don’t let these ass hats make it harder.

I bought 2 suites here several years ago from a great salesman. I returned to buy some shirts and inquire about the tailoring policy. When I finally got someone to help me he didn’t answer my question about tailoring. I had to ask for a yes or no answer. So frustrating. Also I went with the intention of buying some shirts. The older (really old) salesman didn’t even bother looking at me but I remembered him being that bad 2 years before (not sure why he hasn’t been let go) so I looked for another rep. The salesman I was stuck with was rude and classless about helping me pick out shirts. He offered me 3 options and said that was pretty much it. I ended up leaving because he was so short with me and uninvested in my experience. I will not return. I will not recommend. In fact I will direct people away because my experience was so poor.

This place is awful. This company is awful. If you buy a suit or rent a tuxedo from Men’s Wearhouse, you obviously aren’t trying very hard

No. Just no. Not if you’re in a hurry. Not if you mind paying ridiculously inflated prices for shirts or ties. And not if you care how well your pants are hemmed. Otherwise sure, enjoy.

I stopped into this location on a Saturday afternoon. There was lots of sales staff around. I was not greeted or asked if I needed any help. Other customers walked in and was greeted! No one ever spoke to me. The worst part was when I was leaving a sales person looked at me as if to say please don’t come back! And never said the customary «please come back». I’m not a sensitive person, but I left feeling very irritated!
I went to Nordstrom’s and had a great experience. I won’t be back!

TERRIBLE customer service. AVOID THIS PARTICULAR STORE. Went in there three times in the last 5 months (which is how long it took them to get my suit tailored) and each time they were slow and unhelpful.
First, I called the company to ask when I can pick up my suit because they gave me no time frame. They said it would take at least another month because they sent the wrong suit to get fitted (I’m guessing BS)
Second, the guy told me he would call me when it was done. After waiting another month, with no phone call, I walked in to ask what was going on. After being in there for 45 minutes, someone told me the suit hasn’t even been sent to get fitted and they would have to start all over with measurements and so forth (because they lost the documentation).
Third, they told me they were backed up and it would take 2 MONTHS for it to be ready. 5 months later, I finally have my suit for all the wedding that had already occurred. Awesome.
Overall experience: slow service and unhelpful employees.
This was just my experience, I hope yours is better if you do choose this store. Good luck!

It seems like the service of Men’s Warehouse varies greatly from store to store and this location is definitely not one of the shining stars of the chain. I went in during a weekend afternoon to see what my options are available for renting a suit or tux. The lady that was helping me, after I waited for her to finish her phone call, only briefly mentioned about the differences between a suit and a tux. (Supposedly it’s only a bit of satin material somewhere on the coat. so why should I pay more for a tux then?) Afterwards, she handed me a binder of the different tux options they have and went off to do something else. After perusing through the different options, I went back to the lady, again back on the phone, to see about placing a reservation only to find out that she won’t take a reservation at the time because the wedding is too far in the future.
This kind of service is worse than if I was to just look at their website and go through the designer tool they have there… and I could actually book the reservation if I wasn’t so appalled by the in-​store service. Other Men’s Wearhouse stores I’ve been to in the past (Bellevue Square and one in Los Angeles) both have had vastly better service. At this point though, I might just go down the block to Nordstrom and simply buy a suit there for a bit more than the cost of renting at Men’s Wearhouse, with the benefit of getting vastly better customer service.

We stopped by to look for a tux rental for the upcoming event 8 months from now. The sales person seemed occupied with her other errands and when we informed her that we were looking for a tux rental and was just wondering about the style availability that they had, she just gave us a catalog and shoved us away to a different corner to look at the catalog. There was no advice, checking in to see if we had any questions, while we were left to browse their catalog.
After about 10 – 15 minutes left on our own and once we sort of decided what may be most suitable for the event, we went back to the lady at the counter who then informed us that it was too early to even put anything in the system because his measurements may change. She then proceeded to write down the number and style on the paper for us and told us to come back later. There was no taking down our names, or putting in the system. Just a piece of paper with the number and style that she gave us. There was nothing for them to keep as records of us visiting or the products we picked for rental as well. Then it was an informal «shove us away» greeting, «congratulations, and we will see you later.» to let us know there’s nothing they could do
While I agreed with her about potential measurement fluctuation between now and then, logging even the stock number/​style number in the system or getting customer contact information/​date intended for use/​rental would help prevent the problem of customer losing the information or even following up with the customers on their needs. This is my mind is just plain bad customer service and the way to kill their own business. They just lost the opportunity to sell/​make money.
Bottom line, I was not impressed, not even satisfied… and was sort of just appalled how they would treat their customers that way… and even let their sales slipped away.

Their new manager Elmer was super helpful and went above and beyond in helping me pick out tuxes for my fiancé and his groomsmen. Way to make it happen Elmer! Thanks for the help.

Skip this place. Head over to Nordstrom Rack and see Miss Nguyen in the mens fitting area. She found a nice suit for me and even made small changes to ensure the best fit. I was out about $ 200.00 and have the best suit ever. I felt fantastic after leaving her! She has about 20 years experience and it shows. She should be running the Men’s Warehouse. I have purchased many suits from them and will not ever be shopping here again. So sad, they should have kept George.
My issue — My suit did not come with free alterations for life as advertised. Plus they said its better to just buy a new suit. They did offer to discount a new suit to make me happy but this is not fixing the issue. «Free alterations for life»
Follow up: I took my suit they said they would not be usable because of weight loss due too many alternations to another shop and was given a price $ 180.00. The tailor at Men’s Warehouse just did not seem to be interested in even giving it an attempt., even if I paid for it.
I might have worked with them more on this but the overwhelming feeling I got was… we sell suits and don’t honor our Free Alternations for motto plus if the suit requires too many changes, we don’t have staff skilled enough to handle this type of request.
The policy of Men’s Warehouse may dictate the actions of staff within each store, keep this in mind and make your own judgement. I also found lots of people that raised hell with Men’ Warehouse on some online blogs and they did get their free alternations done.

I bought a formal dress shirt at the Mens’ Wearhouse many years ago, but other than that I can’t think of ever having set foot inside one before. The whole «You’re gonna like the way you look…» tagline always felt a little cheesy to me (although since George Zimmer was unceremoniously sacked from the company he founded, it somehow feels a little more genuine).
But I recently found myself in dire need of refreshing my dress pants for work and in possession of a Google offer for 40% off an entire purchase. So I wandered in to see what they had.
I was a little disappointed with the selection in general, but after some diligent trial and error I found a number of pants that would do the trick. They put the most contemporary clothes on display, but the general selection tends to be a little on the conservative side. If you’re looking for a more modern style you’re probably looking at custom tailoring for what you can find there. But then, you might not be shopping here at all if that’s the case.
Getting initial assistance was easy enough, but then there would be gaps of several minutes before I saw my sales associate again. He seemed to be helping several people, even though there were a number of employees milling around.
Once I’d narrowed my selections and got measured for tailoring, the process of getting rung up was also a little cumbersome and time-​consuming, although my guy let me take advantage of the 50% off sale that wasn’t due to start for another few days, so I saved a bit there. By the time it was all said and done, I paid a little under $ 100 each for five pairs of tailored wool dress pants (Kenneth Cole, Pronto Uomo, and Egara), so not too shabby.
The initial tailoring took quite a bit longer than expected (two weeks) and left a fair bit to be desired, with some eyebrow raising variations in hem length, even on the same pair of pants. However, they guarantee their tailoring for life, so there was no extra charge for the touch ups, apart from the hassle of trying to navigate and park downtown in rush hour traffic two extra times, and the touch up work took nearly three weeks to complete.
I doubt I’ll shop there very regularly, but I did manage to overhaul at least the bottom half of my wardrobe in one place at a reasonable price, and with a little extra hassle they’re styled sufficiently enough for my needs.
Pro Tip: Look for the frequent sales to save up to 50% on merchandise, then having the tailoring done at your favorite alterations shop.

A-​OK is about as much as I could say. Popped in looking for time tie clips. Spotted tons of sales signs, lots of men’s clothes (way more than just suits and tuxes) but it was the service that put me off a bit. It was really salesy, really cheesy and too friendly. We definitely were helped right away, everyone was polite, but when we only needed to buy one tie clip the salesman practically begged us to buy another. It was a buy 2 get one free deal. We appreciated the info about the sale but their inventory was limited and there was only one clip that we liked among the 8 – 10 they had. We thanked him and as we prepared to pay and leave he kept suggesting we needed cuff links, maybe a money clip and so on. It got old fast and while I appreciated his big smile and his fun attitude, I felt like they were car salesmen. Working so hard that it actually made the experience less pleasant.
