The switch from Ballard Swedish OBGYN services to Northwest Hospital was a positive one. I feel that going to my one appointment has made me feel a lot more confident about going into labor in the next week. I didn’t feel like I was being sold something that was unnecessary for my upcoming life.
Completely changing an OBGYN in your last weeks to labor can be daunting and scary, but the transition was easy. I saw Dr. McLean, she is amazing and easy to talk to, the nursing staff is also a great addition to the quality of care you are receiving from this hospital. They took the time to explain certain test results that were previously done at Ballard Swedish which were not explained to my husband and I. They also addressed questions my husband and I had about the labor process. I should have made this choice a long time ago. Being thorough and fully informed makes the process of giving birth less terrifying. There is a welcoming and warm vibe to this hospital, all the staff know what’s going on and don’t forget the minor details.

I had an appointment for two weeks, showed up early but the doctor was a half hour late. She finally came to my room and we talked. I told her I was having massive pains in my left breast. She left the room came back and said she had to reschedule me without even doing my breast exam. What is that about? Now I have to wait two more weeks or find another doctor.

I love my doctor. She so nice to me & the women in the front desk they got it down to the wire. I have no complaints what’s so ever. I just wish, I didn’t move so far away.

I saw Dr Patricia Rodrigues the other day and she is fantastic. Not only was she super informative, but I could tell that she understand my concern for my health and didn’t make me feel like a hypochondriac. She also gave me far more information on old tests my previous doctors had done which I wasn’t even told by them. Over all I would highly recommend her to any lady out there needing an exam or extended care. The ladies in the office were all friendly as well.
Parking cost me about $ 5 and the office was easy to find.

Now, mind you I’ve just had one introduction with the ladies of meridian women’s health. However I was absolutely blown away by the warm and welcoming vibe and «extra mile» everyone seemed to take. I was greeted with a bag of prenatal vitamins and a book on pregnancy, as well as a comprehensive overview of everything I should expect for the remaining 11 weeks of my pregnancy. My doctor, Dr. Tiwari, is incredible. She’s easy going, genuinely compassionate, and made us feel like we were her only concern. I left with that warm and fuzzy feeling like I had just been given a high five from the universe. My fiancé and I couldn’t be more delighted to be working with the clinic. Definitely s change from the cold world of Bellevue’s OBGYN services.

I’ve been going to Meridian Women’s Health since 2008. The staff here is wonderful from the reception, nurses and other staff. I have seen Dr. Salerno since 2008 through 3 births and she is a great doctor. She provided the care through the pregnancies but when it came time to birth, I had different OBs who were the attending physicians from the practice for the day deliver my babies at Northwest Hospital/​UW Medical Center. With my first, I was a little distraught that I was going to have a different OB, but that is what happens sometimes. Still, it gave me the opportunity to work with the other OBs. I’ve seen Dr. Vu, Dr. Frankewick, Emily Vason P.A. and now, I switched to Dr. Lewis. All the OBs are wonderful, thorough and care about their patients. When you’re being seen for pregnancy, you develop a relationship with your OB and the nurse and I’ve had nothing but good experiences through the years I’ve been seen at this practice.
