Coming back to review this after a recent experience at another dentist. I went to Dr. Cho’s office after taking advantage of a Groupon. After the appointment I was told I had 8 cavities and potentially a crown unless I got the work done right away. I took estimate of the $$$/​cavity price and compared it around town. It was about 30% higher. A month or two goes by and I get an offer for a uninsured discounted price.
Fast forward about a year. I never got the work down because I was skeptical of his diagnosis. I’ve only had a few cavities in my life. Well I just got back from a new dentist and they informed me that my teeth were in great shape. No cavities.

My family and I have had several great experiences with Dr. Cho and his staff over the last year. Most recently, he put forth a lot of effort and extra time trying to save my tooth from needing a root canal and crown. He was successful and saved me over $ 1,400! Needless to say, I was very pleased.
Then I got a call from him the next day checking on how I was doing, since it was a lot of work. I was impressed that he did not have his staff call, which would have been totally fine, but he called himself. When was the last time your dentist or doctor actually called you to check on how you were doing?
I also think that Dr. Cho is one of the best «gum numbers» I have ever experienced.
The front desk has been wonderful at helping us schedule our work and working with the insurance and his assistants/​technicians are all very competent and engaging.
So I highly recommend Dr. Cho and his team at Union Bay Dental.

I have been here twice and both times I was greeted by a friendly staff. I have never waited past my scheduled time and the cleaning and x-​rays were done in a timely fashion. They have gone out of their way to make sure my services were covered by my insurance company. It is a clean setting and the staff even asked what radio station I wanted to listen to. I had an overall great experience.

After reading Tracy’s review of Union Bay Dental, I was so surprised! She had a completely different experience than I did! I went to them after having not see a dentist in 12 years and they were amazing to me! I went when they had a special on exams, xrays, and cleanings a month before my work’s dental insurance kicked in. The exam and cleaning was great and I had a fun time with the dental hygienist. I found out that I needed a root canal and made an appointment to see them when my insurance kicked in. Well, it took longer than expected to get my insurance and I ended up at a sliding scale clinic to get an open and broach done to ease my pain. As soon as my insurance kicked in I went to Dr. Frank again, because the sliding scale clinic was scary as hell! He finished the root canal– and I had so much fun while he was doing it! Who else can say they had fun getting a root canal without laughing gas? Then the front office people were very understanding when my employer screwed up when paying me and it took me almost 3 months for me to pay them for my visit. When I finally did call to pay, Heather remembered who I was and talked to me as if I were her best friend! I was so happy to be there and will definitely go again!

This was by far the absolute WORST experience I have ever had at a dentist in 33 years. I recently got dental insurance through my work and had no idea where to go for an exam and to get my teeth cleaned. I found these guys online from the Delta Dental website and they were close to my office so I figured I’d give them a try. I asked them over the phone if they would whiten my teeth for free if I had them do a full exam, with xrays and a cleaning. They said yes.
When I arrived for my appt I told them that I hadn’t had my teeth cleaned in a couple years but that I’ve never had a cavity and my mouth/​teeth are pretty healthy. I expressed concern regarding one tooth that only hurts at night and in the morning. I didn’t know if it was caused by me grinding my teeth at night or if I had cavity. Dr. Brady Frank came in and spent a minute and a half taking some photos of that tooth. He then whispered something to the hygienist and flew out of sight. Despite the fact that my appointment lasted for 2 hours I never saw him again. He never even told me if I had a cavity in that tooth or not. I still don’t know.
I then went to see the hygienist for xrays that took 30 minutes. After the x-​rays he spent ANOTHER 30 minutes teaching me how to brush my teeth. Then 15 minutes jamming a metal scraper up into each one of my gums. To say this was unpleasant would be the understatement of the year. After he finished doing that and I had already been there for almost 2 hours he told me that he couldn’t clean my teeth and I would need a deep-​cleaning after he injected my mouth with a numbing agent. He told me that it was going to be $ 1,000 and my insurance my or may not pay for it but the girl up at the front desk could contact them with my records and attempt to obtain a pre-​authorization for the treatment. When I got to the front desk the receptionist acted annoyed that I asked her to check with them about the authorization, but said that she would do it and it might take 2 – 3 weeks to get an answer. This was 2 months ago and I have yet to hear anything from them.
Before I left I reminded them about the free teeth whitening kit I was supposed to get. the hygienist went to grab one and almost handed it to me before reading the directions where it said not to use unless your teeth and gums were healthy. He snatched it back and told me I would need to have the deep cleaning first.
So if you want to waste 2 hours of your day, get absolutely NOTHING accomplished, be made to feel like a 5-​year old and have zero follow up Dr. Brady Frank and his staff are the way to go.

I have never went out of my way to brag about a dental care business. However, this is definitely an exception. I just went in to get my teeth examined yesterday, along with getting my teeth cleaned today and I have NOTHING BUT AMAZING THINGS TO SAY. The entire staff was EXTREMELY polite, well informed and like no other dentist/​staff I had ever seen.
They were extremely accommodating an understanding to concerns or needs I may have had. To be honest I have NEVER had my teeth this clean from any other dental I have attended in the past. I simply would say, if you want quality and reasonable dental care, this is the end of the road, period.

Great location, great environment, great service, a great staff and a great dentist. Dr. Frank is the best. He is the best dentist you will find in Seattle. They came very highly recommended and I also highly recommend them.
