Hello! My name is Mike and I’m excited to be Washington state’s newest photographer. Having recently moved to the Seattle area with my amazing wife, I look forward to new adventures with new clients. Over the past 20 years Los Angeles has been my canvas, capturing everyday moments and stealing hundreds of smiles through events, headshots, family photos, engagement session and weddings. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people and their families while capturing their special moments and being an important part of their life milestones. I hold each client close to my heart and look forward to the same experiences in the Pacific Northwest.

Mike has photographed many personal events over the years for me and my family. Our wedding rehearsal (where he captured funny, emotional and genuine moments), our holiday parties (where his photographs were so cherished, that guests send them out as holiday cards to this very day) and our baby shower (where he captured the essence of every onesie-​so sorry).
But what our family is known for (and I’m not exaggerating) are our holiday cards we send out every year, photographed and designed by Mike. No matter how off the wall our theme has been, Mike has delivered. From our 80s holiday postcard (which Mike painstakingly added the DeLorean from Back to the Future and the General Lee in the background) to our family’s homage to Raising Arizona, Mike has produced unforgettable family pictures. Now that he’s relocated, who’s going to help us recreate the dawn of humankind for this year’s holiday card?
Washington State, you are so lucky for your newest resident photographer. Mike is incredibly professional, talented, resourceful, clever and amazing with kids!

Mike is a fantastic photographer. He is always professional, punctual and he has a great attitude. We have used Mike for many of our holiday card photo shoots and we get so many compliments every year! He has been instrumental in helping us realize our vision each time with his creativity and photographic timing (which can be difficult when working with young kids like ours). Mike has also been hired several times from our friends just based on the work he has done for us and our recommendations.
We have also used Mike several times for our children’s birthday parties. He is so fantastic at capturing just the right expressions and moments. Many of our most favorite pictures (and most often displayed around the house) of our kids have been shots Mike has taken at their birthday parties. It is hard to find someone that you can trust with capturing your families’ special moments and Mike is definitely someone you can. We were so sad to lose him when he moved away this summer. We actually flew him in to Los Angeles this January to shoot our daughter’s first birthday!
You will never go wrong hiring Mike for any of your special occasions!!!

I’m a singer/​songwriter who often needs to update my publicity shots, and Mike is always the guy I turn to. He’s imaginative, professional, affordable, and best of all, an absolute blast to work with. Extremely collaborative, with absolutely no ego. His photographs are so good, I ended up using one of them as one of my album covers. Hire Mike! You won’t regret it!

We’ve hired Mike several times for our daughter’s birthday parties over the years and he delivers amazing pictures without fail! His creativity and ability to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera are just one of the many reasons we hired him. The candid (non-​posed) shots he’s done for us are simply breathtaking!
On top of that, he’s just a really nice and talented guy. Definitely worth hiring for your next event!
My only regret is that he moved to Seattle. Maybe we’ll have our daughter’s birthday party up there… it’d be worth it!

I have used Mikes skills for multiple things… Head shots and of course my favorite… our engagement photos!!! He is such a cool guy and made my husband and I feel extremely comfortable! Not only did we receive the photos in a timely manner but they were so beautiful and just what we wanted. I am not comfortable at all being in front of a camera, but I needed headshots for work. To say that Mike was helpful, professional and produced great results is an understatement! After asking questions about my goal for having the pictures taken (i.e., what the headshots were for, what I was trying to convey with the shots, what industry I was in), he was able to create what I needed! Mike made suggestions on attire, chose the locations and coached me on how to stand, sit, how to turn my head — he helped with everything.
Before working with Mike, I had seen his work with weddings and engagement shoots. It’s just amazing and doesn’t stop there though. Mike has an eye and whether it’s an engagement session or headshots for your career, Mike will exceed your expectations.

The best thing about Mike is that he gets the best, most intimate shots, without being intrusive or obnoxious. He captured moments that were so beautiful – and I had no idea he was there! My favorite shots are of true emotion and not staged happiness. Mike is an expert at that. There’s a close-​up shot of my husband and I dancing close and laughing that I adore. It looks so personal, and as I said before, I had no idea he was there at that moment capturing it. He also did a fabulous job capturing the essence of our venue, and the token shots with the family. He can get great shots out of difficult people without being that annoying wedding photographer. As I said before, my favorite pics from him are the ones from our party, where you know exactly what kind of party it was. Bride, groom, and guests having a blast. But thinking about it, I also adore the pics of my husband and I right after we had our ceremony. Maybe those are my favorite. And the pics from the ceremony too! It’s too hard to decide. I’ll just say, if you hire Mike, you’ll be so glad you did.

I had the pleasure of working with Mike for a corporate photo shoot. He was so much fun to work with, and took so many shots, getting just the right lighting, and angle. I was so happy with my pics, that it was difficult to choose just one!

Mike shot the engagement photos for my wife and me. Aside from the photos turning out frackin’ great, was the fact that doing the photo shoot was a blast! Mike has great manners, is professional and has gift for making you feel comfortable in front of his lens.
I’ve actually had him shoot other events as well. High profile guests at some private parties have remarked how cordial Mike was during the party. He’s not a paparazzi hound-​dog — he’s a pro. It sucks that he’s not in LA anymore, but I heard someone actually just flew him down here to shoot a kids birthday party. If that’s not an endorsement, than what else do you want — punch and pie?!
