Music/The Arts Is A Profession! Master Series are workshops designed to help artists work in the entertainment industry. As a working paid artist I learned that I did not know enough facts about my chosen profession to make a steady income in it. I wrote the course that would have helped me and my intention is to help other artists.
My approach is personal and direct. My intention is to help artists focus on what steps can be taken towards the bigger goal of success. Success happens while working at it not dreaming of it. I’ve been teaching for many years. The difference is now I have written materials I created.
The Revolution of the Working Paid Artist is happening!
FYI: I teach in many different locations. Seattle Center House and I can come to your location too!
History
Established in 2014.
This curriculum is written from my life experience as a living, working, struggling creative artist. No one taught me how to make Music/The Arts Is A Profession! – I lived it to learn it.
My love affair with the Music/The Arts started at age 5, when my mom dropped me off at a dance class in the Bronx to strengthen my legs. I took to Music/The Arts like breathing. Now, just as then, Music/The Arts is the one place in this world where I am completely free.
Years of study developed and strengthened my trained singing voice, yet I felt my own true sound was missing. So, I began a long journey to discover and unleash my true voice– into many musical genres as well as dance, theater, voice– overs, recording, composition, and work in commercials, film, makeup, and even a stint as a food stylist!
Along the way, I learned what it takes to create Music/The Arts Is A Profession! My lifetime of experience prepared me for and continues to help me create this course.
