Nice Nails and Spa

Love. Love. Love my experience here. My friend and I had shellac done by Mimi and Cindy. We felt truly pampered by the customer service, the massages were fantastic, and hot wax was a nice finishing touch. My nails were in previous terrible condition after my attempts at removing my last gel job myself. Cindy evened them out and made them look healthy. Will definitely be returning.

This is a long overdue review. My girlfriends and I go here regularly and everyone is alway so sweet. Just recently, we went in to get mani pedis before my wedding. Not only did Cindy do an amazing job, the owner was so grateful we choose to get our nails done there he gave me a gift card as a congratulations and thank you. The salon is clean, sterile, and they have a ton of color choices! They also are great about layering different shellac colors! Would definitely recommend and will be a longtime customer!

I have been going to Nice Nails for several months. Khan and his crew are terrific. I had a manicure/​pedicure with a new staff member this evening — Ha (Lee) was very thorough and my nails look great!

I got my nails done here a couple of weeks ago and had a good experience. Ly and Kieu gave me a relaxing mani/​pedi which was still looking good after a week and a half (not something i usually see with regular polish). I’ll be coming back again!

I have been here a few times based on a recommendation from a friend. She wasn’t kidding, they are great. This is the first time someone cared enough to recognize the cracks in my toe nails and to inform me it was due to the build-​up of the nail. Moon was helping me and she used the drill to shave it down which helped remove the cracks and smooth out the nail. She also put good effort into I went back and it was another great experience by Moon!
I also got shellac in my nails in my first visit by Jolie. I am über critical of having my finger nails done, because I usually get the one person in the salon that isn’t good at nails or just don’t care about how good they do. Therefore, I do my nails at home since I usually do a better job. This time, I Jolie did do a fantastic job. Until she filed my nails after she put on the shellac top coat. This made my nails peel within two days. That is the only reason why I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5. I would recommended not filing nails after the polish has been applied.

Go see Julie! She was great! She gave me a shellac manicure and really took the time and effort to make sure my nails looked perfect! She also gave me a wonderful back massage as well! The manager was great as well! Great customer service overall!

I called beforehand and talked with a very nice man (I’m sorry, I don’t remember his name!)
Came in for a pedicure about an hour and a half later and got a chair within 10 minutes. Staff was very kind and offered me a drink at no extra charge. I chose Vietamese coffee and it was delicious!
Vivian did my pedicure and did a great job! She was very careful and gave me a pretty flower design. The pedicure I got included some type of scrub, hot wax, and a leg massage with hot stones! I was also given a 20% student discount! Will definitely be coming again!

Just went to Nice Nails and Spa for the first time. Will definitely be going back. Cathy took care of my manicure while Lisa did my pedicure, and they both did a wonderful job. With the hot stone massage and the paraffin treatments, I am feeling very pampered.

First time here, and Cindy did a great job with my shellac! The service is impeccable– the host was super attentive and brought us water, coffee, tea. Cindy was fast, but precise. She also gave me a great shoulder massage while my nails dried! Such a thorough, thoughtful experience. Recommended.

I travel to Seattle often, and Nice Nails is MY new nail salon when I’m here! So clean and pleasant. Kim performed my pedicure and Moon did my manicure. They are both amazing. Nails were buffed to a high shine and skin left feeling soft and revitalized. The shoulder massage was an added bonus that was the icing on the cake. I am looking forward to next month and another visit to this wonderful oasis in the city. Oh, and Kong was a delightful host who made sure I had everything I needed to be comfortable and relaxed. Great, great, great!

I’ve been here 3 times so far and each time has been okay, but after this recent experience, I don’t know if I’ll come back again. I stopped by Monday afternoon after work and they said they have all the time for me today since it’s been slow. It’s my first time getting a pedi so I’m no expert but it felt pretty rush because I think the lady was suppose to go on lunch soon? After a quick wash, massage, etc., she applied all the coats one after another then put it under the dryer which was blowing cold air… then another lady came to take over and asked me to move from the chair to a seat at the table for my mani. I had to walk there when my toe nails weren’t completely dry with no toe spacers.
Everything was okay until the lady started peeling the cuticles off each nail (which I never had done before) then she did the same thing where she applied all coats one after another without waiting and put my hands in the dryer blowing cold air once again. After drying, I looked at my nails and a few were poorly done plus there was a eyelash stuck in one! I told the lady about the eyelash and she just applied another coat to cover it and asked if I’ll like another… yuck no thank you! It was $ 42 total and I still left about 15% tip since they were nice but never getting it done here again especially because after 2 days, I realized you should ever be peeling the cuticles off your nails because cuticles are healthy and my skin below is peeling now :(just what was she thinking!

I LOVE coming here to get my nails done! All the ladies that have done my mani and pedi have been so nice! They also talk to you instead of just sitting there while they do your nails. You also get a free coffee or tea (or if you’d like to stick to just water) while your appointment. They have these stamp cards too, that if you collect enough, you will get 50% of either mani or pedi (depending on the row). They also give shoulder and leg massage with your mani and pedi. Ladies (and gentlemen), check this place out if you’re ever in the area! Don’t forget your stamp card, because you will want to come back :-)

With that said, if you’re looking for a change in nail color or to get pamper, this is a great salon to go to. Gel manicure for $ 30, includes a drink, a quick back massage, wax spa therapy on your hands.
I tried to get a little heart on my each of my nails and it was pretty bad. I realized nail designs is certainly not something they know how to do (plus they charge $ 10). I didn’t think hearts would be difficult, but when she took out the brush to draw it and not use a dotting tool, I knew it wasn’t going to end well. The hearts looked so bad, I asked them to remove it.

Over the past six months the service at Nice Nails has really tanked. The staff has almost entirely turned over, the services are always rushed, and the quality is not worth the price. The staff seems very unhappy and unmotivated to do well.
Even with an appointment, the wait is erratic and every slow. It shouldn’t take three hours at quicky nail salon to get mani, pedi, and brow wax. Often someone will start your service and then flit around filling water basins or polishing someone else. There is often a significant wait between services. I’m regularly left waiting for 15 – 30 minutes between a pedi and mani or brown wax.
The service itself is a major problem. I’ve left with bloody cuticles more than once. My nails are always uneven — I spend my time asking them to go back and file again. And the polish job is rushed and crappy. It doesn’t cover the whole nail, it is bubbly, or stains the skin. My nail polish only lasts a couple of days before lifting from the side or chipping. The last time I got a brown wax it was so uneven I literally spent nearly two weeks telling people that I didn’t have a question (they thought I was raising a brow with a question!!! NO JOKE). Yes, you get a massage and paraffin, but it’s not worth it the wait and pain.
The manager is still very nice and will apologize and offer a discount if you complain, but things don’t get better. Save your money and go to one of the many other places nearby.

I’ve been coming to Nice Nails for about two years now, on and off, and though my previous visits have been awesome, this time wasn’t as great. The service felt really rushed and I even had to go home to fix my nail shapes. My technician didn’t seem very happy to be there either… But she did do a beautiful job painting on the shellac!
I still plan on coming back; I just hope my next visit won’t be another disappointing one.

I loved my 1^st manicure shellac with Jolie. It was my first visit and I’m extremely satisfied with the top quality service I received. She did an amazing job on my nails and the experience was worth every penny. She was very considerate, professional, warm, friendly, and precise with making sure my nails and hands were taken care of. I received friendly service, one that is hard to come by within this industry, and I’m glad I made a decision to stop at this shop, and will be back on a couple of weeks.

They are careful and do not rush ;) I love the location too and staff — I got a $ 15 manicure

Nice atmosphere. Place is clean. I love the fact that the tools they use come in sterilizing pouches. The manager greets everyone nicely. They will accommodate you last minute.
PS: if you can choose your manicurist, pick MOON. She is practically a nail ninja. She asks your preference and she delivers EXACTLY what you want. Excellent.

I’m updating my review to a well deserved five star. I called on a Saturday and the guy that answered was SO nice! They got me in right away, and I was welcomed with such a warm smile and a Vietnamese coffee!
At one point of my mani/​pedi I was laid back in the chair while one of the wonderful ladies was rubbing my shoulders and the other my feet. Hallelujah! Can I get this treatment every day?
I am a HUGE fan of this place! They REALLY care about their work and how you feel and even ask if they did a good enough job for you to return! Can everyone please take a lesson from this amazing place?! This is service at its finest without sacrificing quality!
Lee and Amy did my services and I will be asking for them again! They both cared so much and did such a good job that I couldn’t think of anything they could have done better!

What’s NOT NICE about Nice Nails and Spa:
The pain around my nails! OUCH. The cuticles around two of my nails were definitely bleeding and I can still feel stinging in other areas, especially underneath my thumb nail :(
The length of some of my nails are uneven! It’s not totally obvious and it’s worse on my right hand than my left, but I did mention the inconsistencies during the process. My nail was so terribly lopsided that she tried to fix it three times and ended up just filing it down more to the point where the acrylic meets my actual nail length.
