To our loyal fans, we will be closed on 9÷9÷2013, (next Monday) for 6 — 8 weeks due to family emergency. This is a very sudden event. We sincerely apologized for the short notice.

Recognized as the best salted pepper chicken wings and softshell crabs. Hong Kong authentic baked fried rice and pasta dishes. From baked pork chop with tomatoes sauce on fried rice to baked seafood with creamy buttery sauce on stirred fried pasta noodles.

Our commitment

We are proactively involved in our local community. We’ve been working closely w/​CIDBIA & Seattle Police, to keep our beautiful Chinatown ID streets clean & safe. We’re committed to provide our customers w/​a pleasurable cultural experience when visiting Chinatown ID. To do that, we took a risk & made a few bold moves. We purposely chose this location because we wanted to help draw the general crowd to this neglected part of Chinatown. We are proud to be the first in Chinatown to volunteer & participate in the Dumpster Free Alley Pilot program. We’re also involved in CIDBIA ongoing initiatives w/​the City to provide funding for Chinatown Public Safety. The newly built China Gate around the corner helped created positive exposure & drew in foreign & local tourism.

As you can see, since we’ve opened last year, we’ve been drastically improving the delivery of our food qualities and the execution of our customer services. You can see that directly reflected through our growing customer reviews and satisfactions. Rests assure, we will not stop here. Although there are external factors that are not within our control, such as «smelly piss on the street», we are 110% committed to do our best to push for more sufficient funding from the City of Seattle for Chinatown Public Safety & Continual Maintenance

We were in the middle of placing our order and the lady left to cash an old lady out, how rude is that? She never came back, it wasn’t until we were served our food could we order drinks. Finished our food, then our drinks show up! Same lady then slapped down a wet dirty receipt on our table, was hard to believe, she has ZERO customer service skills. Food was okay.

Great authentic hk style gourmet. Must try the baked seafood rice with cheese. Thats the bomb. If you dont like seafood, you could try the other bake pork chop rice with tomato sauce. The only catch is their service is very authentic «chinese style» and the food will take a while to come out.

When it comes to ethnic cuisines, the saying that, you know a place is good whenever the clients are of the same nationality. How true that is I can’t say. Except In the case of this tasty treat. Pacific Hong Kong was delicious. The service was fast and friendly. We enjoyed some of the freshest shrimp and perfectly fried and seasoned chicken wings. Looking forward to visiting here again soon.

First visit.
I ordered SP02. It was fried chicken cutlet, noodles, and fried egg with black pepper gravy on sizzling pan. It was $ 9+.
When I first saw the food, I was impressed with the quantity. It was definitely a lot of food for 9 bucks. But under a close inspection, it was just a LOT of noodles with a piece of thinly-​beaten fried chicken, fried egg, and gravy. No veggies. I guess I got exactly what I ordered. I was hoping for more meat. Anyhow, the food was way too salty, at least to me. Thank goodness for the hot tea.
Didn’t get the chance to try their desserts. All looked good on the menu.

We were the only diners on a Saturday night, I was a bit skeptical, but glad we went in anyway. Service was good (of course, since we were the only ones). The oven baked pork chop with fried rice tasted just like the HK cafes. The pork chop was crispy and seasoned perfectly, but the rice was a tad bit on the sweeter side. We enjoyed it and devoured it. The chicken steak with black pepper noodles came out on a sizzling hot plate, and they poured this gravy on top of the egg and noodles right at the table. Chicken was good, but there wasn’t a lot meat, and the noodles were semi stuck/​burnt to the bottom of the plate due to the gravy sauce. But that didn’t stop us, we cleaned up both dishes. The HK milk tea was ok, not enough tea flavor and wasn’t sweet.

We ate the meat course dinner. Fried chicken, choice of two entrees, two desserts and beverages.
It was a lot of food for sure. But afterwards, I felt sick. Not because of overeating, but because of what I ate. I hope I won’t have to come back.

I was craving for chinese desserts like red bean, purple sticky rice, coconut, mango sago chinese desserts. But I was disappointed here.
First all the desserts were way too sweet! And for $ 3-​$ 4 price range, they only give you 1 cup size amount which I thought was a really small amount for the price you have to pay.
Still looking for a place that has good chinese/​Hong Kong desserts.

Disappointing experience. Came for lunch. Place was about half full. I ordered chicken curry, friend ordered pork cutlet soup. 15 mins later friend got his soup. I did not get my curry for another 20 mins. While waiting the waitress spilled tea on the table and didn’t clean it up. Curry was bland and a bit watery. Friend’s soup was ok.
Positives: Nobody died. Pretty cheap eats.
Negatives: Baaad service, mediocre food.
Not interested in giving it another try.

I am from Hong Kong and this is real Hong Kong food!!! The entrée and dessert are both very delicious!!! The price is also very reasonable and cheap — the dessert may be even more expensive if you eat it in Hong Kong. Definitely give it a try!!!

I do not understand the ratings for this place. We waited over an hour for our food. The chicken wings were decent but the noodles were subpar. My friend got the baked fish rice. The rice was not fried, bak choy was dirty, and the napa cabbage was sour. Service was not good. Took them 30mins to get our tea.
Honestly don’t go here. My boyfriend who has been here before told me after my friend and I went that he hates this place. Bad food, bad service.

I love Hong Kong style cafes and on my trip to Seattle, I had to try this spot. I waited outside the door before they opened and went inside once the open sign came on. The ladies that work there are very nice individuals and made me feel welcomed.
The menu is fairly extensive with appetizers, baked dishes, fried rice, etc. after some debate I decided on a baked minced pork with tomato sauce with spaghetti. I also wanted to try the salt and pepper chicken wings which is a must. In addition, an iced milk tea. The wings were amazing! By far, one of the best I have tasted. The baked dish was pretty good as well. However, I feel I may have ordered the wrong one and will need another try of another baked dish to really make a solid decision on quality.
Overall, I am very happy with this establishment. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area and would like to check out some Hong along style food.

Potstickers and a couple hot plate dishes with a side of drunken yapping at the counter. That’s what’s for dinner.
Well, I didn’t order the side, but I think it comes with dinner for free, by default. This place is adjacent to Joe’s Bar, where patrons seem to get hammered early, even on school nights. A few of them migrate over to Pacific Café for food, and they talk LOUD, which makes it a little awkward. But I totally understand why they go here.
This place serves a huge variety of hot, greasy, flavor-​packed dishes, perfect for the after-​party. I felt like I should’ve been drinking before coming here myself.
The potstickers were crispy on the outside and juicy and super-​flavorful on the inside. Better than most I’ve had. The sizzling hot plate of fried chicken and gravy with noodles and a fried egg on top was freaking bomb! I loved the concept of the dish, and flavors came together pretty well. The other hot plate dish I had — one with seafood and noodles — wasn’t all that good. It was too heavy on the salt and seasoning that it was hard to taste the actual seafood or the noodles.
Reasonable prices! Service was very friendly. However, I did order a small bowl of rice that never came.

I’ve been coming here for many years now and the food here never lets me down. If you are a chicken wing fan as I am, then make sure to order them. I would consider the food here as comfort food especially when the weather is cold. My go-​to dish is the pork with spicy garlic sauce and rice. Their soup noodle dishes are pretty good as well along with the oven bakes seem to be pretty popular there. If you are in a group, try some of the appetizers!

They’re not making sophisticated food. There certainly is no ambiance or good décor.
It doesn’t even particularly remind me of Hong Kong either — the lights aren’t as bright, things just don’t have that particular shine, the air conditioner isn’t blasting.
But somehow, perhaps nostalgia is getting the best of me, I absolutely loved Pacific Café Hong Kong Kitchen.
Every single person inside the café, the wait staff and every customer at every table was speaking Cantonese.
Even the cheap print of the skyline of Hong Kong on the wall was a welcome sight.
The menu was large, the proportions are large, the prices are low.
If you’re missing Hong Kong café style food, try this place out!

We went here for lunch as a group of 7 and luckily managed to get a table. They can be pretty crowded on weekdays for lunch.
We started off with the chicken wings and the spring rolls. The wings were really nice albeit a little more greasy than I would have liked but they were crisp and full of flavor. The spring rolls were ok.
For entrées, we decided to go family style and all tried out a bunch of things. The wonton soup was ok while a couple of beef noodle dishes were a little too salty and greasy. The singapore style chicken fried rice was really nice. The baked fish on rice was tasty but had very little fish. The stars of the meal were the 2 pork dishes. The oven baked pork chop over rice is basically a panko breaded chop, deep fried and then baked over rice with some sauce. It’s really delicious and a must have here. The fried pork chop with garlic sauce is also really delicious but a little too salty although the rice does balance it out.
Overall I liked most of their food and the service was really friendly. An interesting fusion style hong kong comfort food experience. I’ll definitely come back here again for the pork.

Singapore style noodles with bbq pork or vegetarian is great.
You an opt for the flat noodle instead. Smoothies are really good too.
Friendly service. Parking and store front might be the downside however the interior is pretty nice. Always seen kids in there so i assume its kid friendly. However i usually get to go orders. Call ahead to reduce your wait.

There are so many items on their menu that I must try, but for our first time there, friends and i did a great job picking our foods!!!
Service is SO FRIENDLY here. Both of the servers were very attentive and sweet, and one doesn’t really expect that at a restaurant in Chinatown!
I’ll be going back for sure :-)

This place is probably the only restaurant in Seattle that offers HK desserts. SF had plenty of them and I took it for granted. Now I really miss it!
BF and I came here for the desserts but decided to order their fried fish filets and their beef brisket noodle soup. I loved the brisket. It was super tender and flavorful. The fried fish were VERY good! I was impressed! Lots of garlic and green onion — my favorite. I also thoroughly enjoyed our Asian desserts. The fruit were fresh and delicious (even the mango!).
I would definitely come back to try other things on the menu, especially the desserts.

Headed to Hong Kong in a few weeks and wanted to get into the spirit of my trip by visiting a cha chaan teng (Chinese café). I decided to give Pacific Café a try. Generally speaking, cha chaan teng restaurants are known to be reasonably priced spots that offers a mix of Hong Kong western dishes as well as traditional Chinese dishes.
From the street, it seemed like a sizable restaurant. But when I entered, it was smaller than I expected. Most of the tables are on the left side, while just a few are on the right. Interior is brightly colored (green!) and has a modern feel to it that captures the dynamicness of Hong Kong.
The menu here is one of the most affordable in the I-​District. Nothing is over $ 11. I decided to get one of the oven bake dishes. Though I was tempted to get the Portuguese chicken (#6) which I have not been able to find a good version anywhere thus far, I decided against it. Instead I went with the baked pork chop rice ($ 6.95) which is one of my favorite dishes that my dad makes. Saying this, I will say the picture on the menu does not resemble my dad’s version very much.
Indeed it was not like my dad’s. That said, the baked pork chop rice is okay. The pork chop on top was decent. The fried rice underneath was a little blah. It is a bit of a cheapy type dish with frozen vegetables. Portion size was okay for lunch, but I would order something additional if you have a big appetite.
Cha chaan teng restaurants are not where you would go for exceptional food as they are not known for that. These places are known more for offering comfort foods. So I would not set your expectations too high. I would say Pacific Café is worth a visit if you are looking for a cheap Chinese food spot in the ID.
