Small selection of spices and employees less than helpful. 2 – 3 employees in the store but no one offered to help. I left and found a great store down the street with employees quick to offer help.

I like this place, they have good halal meats and are simple-folk store. Glad they are there.

The place seemed ok. However, the person working there didn’t seem to know his product. The store seemed to have extremely limited selection. I wasn’t really impressed. For example I asked for Gul Guppa Shells(empty hard shells used for pani puri) and he took me to the incense aisle to see if they had any. It’s close here so I might go back from time to time for quick things, but don’t expect to be able to do real groceries to feed your family here if you’re Desi.

This is my favorite Halal meat shop in Seattle. They have both South Asian and Arab ingredients. A pretty good selection of meat. I usually will order a whole lamb(the smallest available and make sure you are getting it on delivery day so it is fresh) and have it cut up and freeze it. This way I at least know the meat was not too old(because older lambs are chewier and older shelf life lambs don’t taste as good). But if you freeze it when its fresh… it tastes better than buying old meat on a regular basis.

Utterly unhelpful staff. Asked for help locating a certain spice among the many unmarked bags, the checker grabbed a random bag of unidentifiable stuff and offered it to me. Small selection otherwise, but why patronize such people?
