As someone who has spent their entire career at a computer, I know what it’s like to suffer from muscle tension. Massage therapy was a great help but it was a huge inconvenience to schedule appointments and travel to a spa or clinic.

With the rise of the on-​demand economy, I thought «Wouldn’t it be great if we could connect skilled professional massage therapists with consumers who need a massage now!»

When I began speaking with massage therapists working at high-​end hotels I realized they were only paid about 25%-35% of what a massage actually costs. The rest of the money went to the spa.
