Phil’s Custom Bindery is a family business established in 1982. Specializing in the perfect binding — hardcover binding– book repair wire O binding. Phil Goldader started Phil’s Custom Bindery in 1982 after acquiring the equipment from the previous owners. He started in the book binding industry in 1957 and now has a small, family-​run business. The day-​to-​day operations are handled by Scott, Phil’s son. Scott has been working in the business with his dad since the business started. Phil still comes in to the shop part-​time to do the book repairs and small projects. Phil’s Custom Binding can do the following custom binding work: Hardcover binding, up to 250 books. The covers can be made from three different types of cloth (imitation leather, buckram, and linen) leather and with your choice of colors. We can also customize your cover with foil stamping on the covers and spines. Perfect binding (paperback book) from one to 2,500 Books with a turnaround time of one to four days. The book can range in size from 6×6 inches to 12×12 inches, with a thickness of 1/​8″ to 1 7/​8″. Book repair of the old family bible, rare books, children’s books, diaries, cookbooks, schoolbooks, etc. Foil stamping and debossing on wallets, bibles, photo albums, and various other products.
